Hinata desperate to help her friends and find Naruto hesitated and froze, in her indecision, and suddenly the creature launched his tail at her, but Neji pushed Hinata out of the way and barely dodged the attack himself. "Hinata! You must do what Kurenai-sensei says, go now!" Hinata quickly took Shino and ran while leaving Kurenai and Neji with the Akatsuki member. "The shinobi she's carrying will die within the hour, it was pointless to send her away, it will take all of you to get through me." "We'll see about that, who are you!?" asked Kurenai. As Hinata carried Shino away from the battle she began to doubt herself "I was useless, I froze and didn't know what to do! Neji could have gotten hurt as well. I hope Shino's bugs can fight off the poison." In the meantime, Naruto caught up to Tobi and Shin. "Shin, what the hell are you doing going with this guy!? He's going to kill you!" "I'd rather die than be stuck this way! You had friends and allies, I have nothing! This curse robbed me of everything!" Tobi mocked Naruto, "You should come willingly like your friend, your worthless suffering will finally end." Naruto then launched towards Tobi but to his surprise he passed right through him. Quickly, Tobi attacked and with fierce strength grabbed Naruto by the throat with one hand choking the life out of him. "You're pathetic!" Suddenly red chakra began to pour out of Naruto and he broke free of his grip. Naruto summoned his clones and launched another attack, all in vain as he kept going through Tobi. No matter what Naruto did he couldn't hurt Tobi and he got more frustrated and more desperate. Slowly the Kyuubi's chakra grew and grew and Naruto began to lose his sanity. "He only needs one more push." Thought Tobi.
The others struggled in their respective battles while Hinata reached a safe distance. Shino struggled to speak: "Hinata… leave me here and go help the others." "I can't do that!" "It's alright, I've gathered powerful bugs over the years… I'm sure they can remove the poison, just leave me… they need you." "I was useless back there, I can't help anyone." Naruto could no longer maintain his control and roared like a beast as the chakra burned his skin and he resembled a miniature fox. Even so, he couldn't touch Tobi and began destroying everything around him. As Hinata, was running back she heard the fierce battle between Naruto and Tobi and with her Byakugan saw the red chakra. "What a horrifying Chakra! What could it be!?"
