^Bakura^

Coming to Kul Elna was the greatest idea I've ever had.

The spirits are confusing that creature and leading him all over the place. Plus they don't like the Pharaoh or his men so they're not letting them rest, always attacking -the best spirits can- or scaring the horses, making then run off again and again. I've been watching them for six days now. The Pharaoh is furious, it's hilarious really.

Mit isn't much better; the thing will get mad and start destroying what little ruins there are, you'd think he'd hurt himself after a while. I should have killed him when I had the chance.

Yugi is sleeping in the bed beside me, but I'm starting to think he's getting sick. He barely eats anything, he's sleeping more and more, and he always feels a little cold, but there's nothing I can do about it, not like I want to anyway. Whenever he wakes up I tell him the Pharaoh is looking for him. I told him I heard the Pharaoh yelling for his head when the Pharaoh and him men first showed up. Yugi freaked out, curled up into a ball, eyes wide, starting straight at the wall. Of course I had to pretend to care and hold him, whispering in his ear that everything would be okay. That I wouldn't let him get hurt.

He doesn't want me to leave him alone. He says he doesn't want me to get hurt. I just smirk and tell him to hide until I come back. He's so trusting it's pathetic, I just want to skin him alive. How could the Pharaoh put up with him? I mean really, he's tiny and stupid and never does anything without being told.

The only good thing about him is that he'll make a good thief. That and if the Pharaoh ever finds me-which he won't-I can either trade my freedom for Yugi, or I can kill him just to see the look on the Pharaoh's face. I'd like the second better.

"Bakura?"

"I'm right here. I need to go see where the Pharaoh is." I stand up walking out of the room toward the exit of the old temple. Behind me I can hear Yugi whimper, but ignore him.

I climb out of the sand covered temple just in time to see Mit jump over some ruins running toward the Pharaoh, who's horse is freaking out again. Mit growls- something I wish he'd stop, if Yugi hears him everything will be ruined- and stops in front of the horse, but it's still rearing up. Mit steps beside the horse and the Pharaoh jumps into his back. Odd, I've never seen Mit allow someone, other then Yugi, to ride him. The Pharaoh looks confused as Mit simply walks away from the rearing horse as if nothing happened.

"Mit?" I hear the Pharaoh ask, but the creature just grunts and continues it's never ending search for the boy beneath the sand. His head bent trying to smell for Yugi.

"Pharaoh!" Seth yells from gods knows where. Mit bounds toward the voice, the Pharaoh still on his back, and disappears into the ruins and sand dunes.

I know it's short, don't kill me. I'll update again in a couple days and it'll be longer, I have an awesome idea, I just have to get it right first. Love you guys, see you in a couple days :)
