Hi! :)
Weeks pass and the number of views in a day don't fall. Thank you so much!
Someone sent me a review that I think I should answer to.
No, I have never been pregnant. The reason I said that the baby moves "because it's bored" is because I wanted it to sound different and interesting. It's not because I don't know about it... And the reason why Oksana couldn't bring Mark back to life is because he was dead for too long. So I did not kill any of characters because I'm cruel. I wrote it all in the way I see it. And it's not like it's going to be turned into a real book or something. If any of you don't like it just don't read it then... there is no reason why do you need to call me cruel and stupid because of it. I am new at writing and I am just trying to improve myself in something I love to do.
Don't worry, I'm not judging you for this review, or anyone who wrote me negative reviews, you just gave me your opinion on my story. One thing that made me upset is the way you wrote it, because there was no need for it.
Anyway... Thank you for all your reviews, favorites and follows! You guys are awesome!
Sorry for any misspellings, I hope you will understand it all! :)
Thanks, enjoy and please review.
xoxo, J.J.
ROSE
Me, Christian and Lissa are about to enter the hallway. And when we enter I get a surprise. Theo is kissing Dimitri. And I can see that Dimitri was surprised too. He was looking Theo with his eyes wide open but he was still as stone. That look on his face was priceless.
Theo was into Dimitri all this time? Theo mentioned him so many times and I never noticed... But I have to admit, I got a little jealous seeing somebody else kissing my man. Even if it's someone Dimitri would never be interested in.
"Who's the cheater now?!" I yell but don't actually mean it. Theo stepped back from him and looked at me. Dimitri first looked at me but then quickly turned his head back to Theo and continued staring at him but now with his mouth open.
Lissa and Christian couldn't help themselves and started laughing out loud. I couldn't help it either.
"Rose... I..." Theo said and then ran away. Poor Theo. He probably feels awful right now. I call for him but he escaped the room too quickly. I don't hate him for this. I know he is a good guy and that he would never do such a thing without it being necessary.
But our laugh didn't stop. All of us were laughing so hard that tears were running down our cheeks. When Dimitri realized I'm not angry, he started to laugh too. But in his situation it's probably because of the shock.
And in the next second I feel this weird wet puddle under my shoes. Oh-oh. Is it happening already?
"Ummm... Dimitri, I think my water just broke." In that moment Lissa's and Christians laugh stopped but Dimitri was still laughing. When he realized what I said his laugh slowly faded.
"What?" he asks after he stops laughing and realizes what I really said.
Lissa and Christian quickly came to me to hold me because I felt this huge pain and it hurt like a bitch. Then Dimitri ran to me and looked at me with opened eyes his hands shaking saying things in Russian. I think he was swearing.
"Don't just stand there, go get the car!" Christian said. Dimitri ran and on his way dropped the keys a couple of times. It's the first time I see him like this. All confused.
"Okay... let's just... um... breathe... like in the movies." Lissa says and starts to breathe hysterically with a weird look on her face. Her eyes wide open, her mouth shaped in an O and her cheeks filled with air. But the funniest part is that Christian starts to do it too.
"STOP!" I yell but only because I feel another hard kick. "I can breathe... for now." I said.
Dimitri stops the car with a high speed and runs out to open the door for me and Lissa.
Lissa and me are in the back of the car. Dimitri is driving and Christian is turning the map of the city in all the possible directions, trying to find where the hospital is.
"What are you doing?" Dimitri keeps asking him.
"Trying to find the hospital, what does it look like I'm doing?!"
"Yes, good idea. Even though I was born here, I don't know the way." Dimitri was sarcastic.
"Guys would you just concentrate? Rose are you comfortable?"
"Um... NO! OH, CRAP!" the pain gets all worse. It feels like my whole body is ripping apart.
In that moment Dimitri and Christian turn around.
"Roza, what do we do?" he turns around to look at me.
"GET TO THAT HOSPITAL! DIMITRI BIKE!" Dimitri turns around and presses the brakes but he hits a biker.
"Mother of God!" Christian yells and both Dimitri and Christian get out of the car.
It looks like they broke his arm.
"Umm... this mister is going to join you." he smiles apologetically. "He knows the way to the hospital." Christian whispers.
"Dimitri was born here, you stupid! He already told you that!" I yell.
OH THE PAIN! Dimitri quickly brings the man in the car and he doesn't stop apologizing.
"Ok, we know you're sorry but can we just go?" Lissa asks.
Finally the car moves. The man just couldn't stop complaining about the pain. He was trying to make me feel better but his words didn't work.
"Don't worry... This is just the begining," he says, "'bigger pain starts after the birth' my wife says..."
"Please be quiet!" Lissa says when she saw the reaction on my face. "Sorry." she says when she realized that she yelled at him. Now the breathing got harder. The baby wants out! And on the most painful way! Somehow I'm trying to keep the baby in, I don't know how, and I don't know if it's working...
The brakes hit hard and I almost hit my head on the seat in front of me.
"WATCH IT!" I yell... An old lady is crossing the street but very slowly. Dimitri couldn't wait and he stepped out of the car. He literally grabbed the lady and carried her to the other side of the street. Lady was yelling at him but Dimitri didn't care. I can't believe him. It's funny to see him like this. When he put the women down she started to yell at him and hit him with her grocery bag.
Just when he wanted to close the door of the car he yelled, "sorry!" in Russian and quickly drove away.
I wanted to laugh but the the pain was too hard. I started sweating as hell... Lissa was whipping my face with her tissue and repeating "It's okay... calm down... I'm proud of you..." all the time. She calmed me only a little bit.
Finally, I see the hospital building but there's no parking place free. Dimitri keeps swearing and his voice is shaking. I start to wonder why Lissa didn't heal that man but then I felt the shaking of her whole body so she probably forgot she even had that power.
Dimitri stopped at the parking spot for ambulance.
"Get a wheelchair!" he told Christian and he runned to our side of the car. He opened the door and helped me out. The pain didn't stop. It was hard to stand.
"We're almost there, Roza." he said and kissed my sweaty forehead. "I love you." he didn't stop repeating.
"CHRISTIAN WHERE'S THAT CHAIR!" I yell because I can't stand anymore. Christian runs to us and they put me on the wheelchair.
"You burned it!" Lissa said. The wheelchair had burned handles.
"Sorry, I'm nervous. I... I'm going to help that mister. I'll be right back." he says and takes that man inside. Coward. How is he going to help Lissa when she'll be in my place?
Once I'm in, the fear started. I'm going to be a mom. I'll have a responsibility to raise my child and take care of him. Will I be able to do it good? What if I'll suck at motherhood? What if I'll make my child hate me?
PAIN AGAIN!
Two doctors run to us and take us to the hospital room.
"I'll be right here. You got this." Lissa said holding my hand right before we entered.
"Ok. Miss..." the doctor was getting ready.
"Hathaway." Dimitri said. He knew I wasn't able to talk right now. He was on my right side holding my hand and whipping my sweat.
"Miss Hathaway, I'll give you an injection to make the pain fade, ok?" the doctor said. The pain gone? Sure why not. DO IT!
"Dimitri?" I ask. He was acting weird. He looked at the needle and he started to breathe heavily and he actually fell off the chair.
"DIMITRI GET BACK HERE, I NEED YOU!" Dimitri fell asleep. HE FADED!
A nurse came to him, splashed him with some water and he woke up. He quickly got back to the chair.
"TAKING A NAP?!" I yelled.
"No. Sorry. I..."
"Oh, just shut up!"
"Miss, now you will have to push. Get ready." doctor said and I nodded. I need to get that kid out. That injection didn't make it better.
"Push!" And I did. It was strange to see how everybody in the room looked like they were pushing with me. Dimitri's face was changing color.
"Good. Breathe. Get ready for another push." doctor said. I was tired and I wanted the pain gone already.
"Don't you even think of fading again! Or throwing up! I'll kill you!" Dimitri looked like a scared cat with those eyes wide open.
"Push!" doctor said. I grabbed Dimitri's hand hard, but I didn't care right now. I had the feeling I crushed it.
I have no idea for how long I was pushing but it felt like ages. I'm tired, I'm crying, I'm yelling at Dimitri , sometimes because he kissed Theo and sometimes for no reason. He's telling me to calm down, that I'll be over soon and I'm yelling at him to shut up.
"Oh, no. Mister would you please step out?" doctor said. What? Why is that now?
"Why?" he asks.
"Complication."
"What? No. He has to stay here."
"We'll be here. Please, get out." a nurse said and came closer to me. He had no choice but to go out. He kissed me on my forehead and went.
Now the real fear started.
