Hi you guys! How ya been? Well I hope excellent! An maybe a bit more patient thanks to the delayed time it takes me to post for this story, I hope the wait has only expanded your ability to... uh wait lol. But in all likelihood if it has only annoyed you I apologize. . .

My internet and computer has been totally insane lately. But that won't slow me down! An neither should it to you! Sticking with my keep it short theme and reveal nothing attitude...

So without further ado I present to you the long awaited story that is climbing in to the halls of greatness!

Lets hear it for WORLD WHIRLING TIDES CHAPTER 30!

OSAKA FORT| WATERFALL COUNTRY| BORDER| EARTH COUNTRY

Sitting aloof because of his size upon the way too small for him chair among the top ninja Waterfall village had to offer. Aki grew resentful of the men that circled around him.

"Do you all not understand the position you are in? Best thing for you all to do is force them back covertly. If they want passage, make them see they won't find it here. If anything route the fighting to another country. . . just don't be foolish and actually face them head on!"

Insulted the old but still strong leader of Taki sounded "We are not cowards nor do we think your advice is worth anything in this situation. You do not know of the struggles we have conquered and will persevere through again!"

Aki snorted when he heard the man's charisma travel to the other Taki ninja and they chorus a bravado induced cheer.

Tired by the stubborn man the Uzumaki cursed "Fools! You won't win if you fight them head on. To do that is suicide, already they make forts at the border"

"I know" concurred the Waterfall leader solemnly "As well as the Tsuchikage destroys our forests to create a edge for his army and block our movements. We are just acting in accordance so I must ask what are our allies Uzu doing?"

Realizing he was being put on the spot by the many eyes that now stared at him curiously. Aki reacting to being called out stayed unreadable; not wanting to give any insight of the true reason he and his team were present in the country.

Swiftly the Uzumaki captain responded "Uzu supports it's allies Ikari-dono. When the time comes for it you will have Uzu's reinforcements"

Grunting indignantly Ikari responded "That is to be expected but I must wonder why is only one team here now? I know Uzu holds a almost god-like reputation with it's powerful ninja but one team! Just one can't be enough to help."

"Do not worry. My team is well equipped to handle any problem. If we aren't, then I will personally call in to my HQ for help. Otherwise I recommend actions that don't call for unneeded sacrifices or crazy suicidal missions. As you have said Ikari-dono the Tsuchikage is inbound. He possess a bloodline expansion. Confronting him without care. . . will only get ones' own death."

Having been previously informed to the powers of a bloodline expansion user and knowing firsthand of the power Mu the 2nd Tsuchikage wielded. The Taki-leader was not ever planning to fight a being with that much power or ever send one of his own comrades to. Contrary to anyone's belief.

Ikari knew to a Jinton user like Onoki numbers meant nothing for they could easily be wiped out by a dismantling jutsu. Which was why he figured out he needed not many good shinobi but maybe just a specific one.

Manipulatively he had already stacked the cards in his favor as well just gathered a begrudgingly willing participant. 'I know your village plans Aki. It was pretty obvious. But you're not dealing with a rookie. . . You and I both know Taki has to stay standing or at least slow a Iwa army down. We are your buffer but we damn sure won't just be that. Maybe if we could've got Leaf's help with the Senju and Uchiha clans we would of had better chances. But a zanpakuto user should do'

Uncomfortably Aki noticed the Taki-leader's eyes trail to the large blade embedded in to the ground next to him.

Without any tact or restraint Aki asked "You wish for me to combat Onoki?"

No longer hiding behind politics or tactics. Ikari announced "Yes. Originally we had hoped Leaf would aid us but after they said no. An Uzu pledged help. We at the time hoped Arata himself would come fight to keep us standing. Make no confusions that I am not happy about my miss-directions to get you here but you know as we all do that if Taki falls my country will follow. Then Iwa would be you guys direct problem. . . an I don't think Leaf will help"

Confused Aki asked "Tch an if Onoki is killed then what? You would still have a army coming your way only then they would want vengeance"

Moments passed before the aged leader replied "There is something we know that would stop Iwa from ever trying to attack us directly. . . all we need is a opening"

Curious at what ace up their sleeves the ninja had. Aki stayed silent pondering the decision he was poised with making. 'I can actually help them. . the innocents of this country. . . actually do something or do my mission'

With a big sigh Aki asked "Is what you posses strong enough to keep Taki and this country alive?"

"Yes" stated Ikari with finality before reaching in to a red pouch that was presented to him by one of his subordinates.

Aki grew very perturbed as he saw the clear gourd pulled from the pouch presented to his sight but kept out of his reach. From his view he could see the container was filled with a clear liquid that sloshed slowly.

"This is called Hero Water" spurred Ikari "This is our trump card. . . it'll increase our ninjas chakra by ten-fold!"

Shocked the Uzumaki spat "Impossible!"

Ikari smirking deviously replied "No this is truth. This is our hidden power. Though it'll only work if Onoki is out of the way. With Hero Water if by chance Iwa sends a hundred ninjas at us we would need but ten! to beat them! If Iwa sends a thousand it would take but one hundred of our own with this water to defeat them. This fact will forever deter us having a war with ANYONE"

Realizing the gem this nation held Aki spoke "But no matter how much of an equalizer this Hero Water is. . . to a jinton user like Onoki he'll cut your numbers right down. Hn. Why haven't you guys just developed a plan with that water? Let me guess you want a sacrificial distraction"

Though inwardly Aki pondered 'Do I even have enough strength to go toe to toe with a bloodline expansion user let alone a kage!. . . it would easily be the hardest battle I've ever fought. Am i even aware of all the necessary information to make an informed decision'

"That is irrelevant" the man said coldly "You are a tool of your nation. Uzu pledged their help to us. All we need is an opening that you will give. Right?"

Knowing what he was about to agree to was in a way insubordination while at the same time being partly what his mission was. Aki also realized it would at the same time help in the way he saw as most beneficial "I will of course. Though I will have to contact-"

"INCOMING WE HAVE BEEN INFILTRATED!" shouted a echoing panicked voice.

"I thought they would be more aware than this!" yelled Roshi while dodging a sword made of water.

Back flipping far away from his attacker the Iwa-jounin landed in a tree than clapped his hands together an slammed them to the surface of the tree's trunk whose bark crumbled upon the impact.

A moment later spikes made of earth erupted from the large trees' branches and pierced the brave Taki-nin.

Standing back up Roshi viewed the erupting flames that exploded upon the hidden fortress made of trees and earth. All around tree building after building toppled in on itself after being struck by a blurring figure. That skirted from tree-trunk to tree-trunk leaving explosions in his wake.

Patiently Roshi waited until the phantom figure that moved almost faster than his eye could see to finally come to him.

Hopping from a desecrated tree building the spiky haired rock ninja plopped heavily down next to Roshi with a wicked smile "They are in a frenzy now! Listen to them running scared!"

Emotionless Roshi replied "I hear them Gari" but truthfully he did not want to as the loud wailing alarm alerted many ninja to get to their battle stations as it cried out almost as glaringly loud as the crying out injured ninja who did not fare so hardily in the many half blown up tree-towers.

"They are on guard now that the pandemonium is clearing, time to move out" advised Roshi

Chuckling the blood-lust filled Gari warned "What ever you do just don't go near the north end of here. The Tsuchikage has a nice surprise for anyone that goes there"

Sighing Roshi leaped in to the air and went through a few hand-seals then exhaled out a brown cloud to hide his retreating path.

Gari after looking around at his handy-work and seeing a group of ninja coming towards him laughed "If you weaklings are wondering who did this, it was the EXPLOSION CORPS!" he screamed before erupting in to a fiery inferno that exploded outwards.

Aki fell to the ground for the second time as an explosion made tremor wracked the area he was in. He got back to his feet with the help of his sword then quickly jumped out of the way of a falling tree.

"Captain, I know this ploy it must be Gari from Iwa's explosion corps!"

Looking back to his comrade Aki asked "Who?"

"He's a ninja that has the explosion bloodline. In short what ever touches his hands are blown up instantly! Worse is he usually leads a squad that has his bloodline though if they don't. . . they have a variation or skill of it"

Alarmed Aki didn't know where to begin on planning to beat such a foe or rather foes.

"AYE! UZU captain!" yelled Ikari jumping from a tall tree to land in front of Aki. "We need your help in the North Front! GO!"

Simply nodding Aki with a quick signal to his comrades then went in to a sprint towards the north section of the fort.

Racing pass teams of medics that secured injured ninja to try an heal them. Then through billows of smoke which burned from destroyed trees. In seconds the team of Uzu ninja were over the fallen tree made buildings which proved to be mild obstacles.

Aki and his team were but a few meters from what was a large earth wall enforced with layer after layer of specially made Takigakure clay encompassed in the formidable wood of the Waterfall country which proved to serve as an above efficient wall for defense.

An especially special defense for the Osaka fort which it shielded and played role in being the first line of defense for the country of Waterfalls.

Seeing the many ninja just standing upon the disguised with shrubs wall. That were not attacking what were suppose to be an invading force. Made Aki highly suspicious and confused.

But he did not stop his ascent towards the wall, for he would see what was said to need him and his teams' attention.

Stopping a few feet at the bottom of the wall he called out to a Taki-nin "Why are you all standing around?!"

Confused the Taki ninja who heard the yelling man looked around then down the wall to see the questioner "Oh it is you the Uzu-Captain. We are waiting; the sensors say there is no one here!"

"What no one here?" mumbled Aki "Then what the heck were those attacks? Were they softening us up?" he wondered aloud only to look over to his comrade who had been previously informative. He gave the man a questioning glance that asked for answers.

Shrugging the man said "Uh I don't know what they could be up to sir! Usually Gari would have had his men attack by now, this is strange"

Unsure of what actions the enemy was up to Aki resigned himself to patiently wait to react to what ever attack was upon the fort. Signaling to his team with quick hand signs he made sure they followed his sprint towards one of the few standing watch towers.

Instantly a moment later the vary ground under the defending wall suddenly started to shake then at once fell in upon itself imploding to make a bottomless pit. Taking in to its' canyon berth the earth structure formerly upon it and the many Taki ninja.

It was a second later as the dust that was thrown in to the air cleared and the once wide swallowing canyon closed back up. The figure of a calm Tsuchikage could be viewed.

Swiftly turning around Aki bared what was a glimpsing view of the north wall being swallowed whole along with every man on it. Instantly he spotted the being who could possibly be able to cast what was obviously a powerful earth based jutsu.

"That must be him. . . team spread out in to the shadows!"

Following orders the Uzu-ninja disappeared in swirling vortexes of water.

"You there Tsuchikage!" Aki yelled to the calm looking robed young man.

Interested Onoki looked to the only being he could see as he felt many others withdraw from the area and fall far back away. 'I understand the Uzu ninja falling back to attack when he makes a opening. It's a simple tactic but why are the Taki-nin falling back too?'

Seeing the large man who was twice maybe even thrice times his size draw a sword that was almost as large as he was from his back. Put Onoki on alert that the warrior would indeed be trying to kill him.

Groaning Onoki asked "You are a Uzushiogakure ninja are you not?"

Etching forward slowly to close the distance between them Aki distractingly answered "Why does that matter?"

Watching the slowly moving warrior with patient fury the Rock-shadow sighed "I find it foolish how Uzu sticks its' nose where it does not belong"

Aki unmoved spat "Lest anyone be stupid to not catch on to Iwa's underhanded ways! You would probably like everyone blind so that your war-mongering intentions aren't seen an stopped in their tracks!"

"Do not think you could ever stop anything Iwagakure has planned. You, your nation, and village are but a rock in a very big ocean. To a even bigger world. History showed that you people did well with isolation. It was your natures. Don't go against nature" said the Earth-shadow glaring daggers
