Chapter 20: War On The Rise
"Master Makarov! Master Makarov!" Leina yelled as she came storming through the empty guild looking frantically for Makarov.
"What's the matter?" Makarov asked as he sat on the front of the stage.
"Before I tell you anything, I want you to know that I didn't mean to deceive you in any way and I'll make everything up to you in the end." Leina admitted as she fiddled with her fingers nervously.
"Leina tell me what's going on." Makarov demanded as he gave her a serious look.
"This world is in danger, Lord Cassias wants to recreate it for his own benefit. We have to stop him before he hurts anyone." Leina sobbed as she looked at him with pleading eyes.
"How do you know about all of this Leina?" Makarov asked.
"I've known it for years ever since my parents were killed by his father. I'm not even really from this world and neither is he, we're from the Demon World. Before my parents were killed they sent me here to make sure that this world would never be harmed by him. They imbedded a key within my soul that enables any demon to live in this world freely without dying or rotting away. Without this key they have no way of staying in this world for more than an hour without them receiving a lot of damage from it." Leina explained as she showed Makarov the shinning key that was imbedded within her soul.
"If that's the case then how are we in danger? Since you have the key they can never do too much damage before they eventually cause harm upon themselves." Makarov asked as he played with his beard.
"Lord Cassias is ruthless and unforgiving, he'll always find a way to make things go the way he wants them to. He'll go even as far as trying to take over my body and soul to get his hands on the key. Even though I've been able to fight him off for years, something is really bothering me about how he acted during his last visit. I just don't want to hurt anybody like before." Leina stated.
"Has he taken over your body before?" Makarov asked as he remained serious.
"Yes, he has. He made me do something that was beyond forgiving to someone that I really cared for, even though I was told that it wasn't my fault I couldn't help but blame myself for letting it happen in the first place. I'm begging you, you have to seal me away so he can't use me for his plans." Leina pleaded as she cried while on her hands and knees.
Makarov hopped down from the stage and pressed his hand against her head and patted it softly. Leina looked up to him with pain and fear clear in her eyes.
"I won't seal you away, Leina. I refuse to believe that you would do such a thing without fighting back for control over your own consciousness. Although, if the time comes where we have no other choice I may have to seal you away, but for now you'll fight right beside everyone else. I promise that I won't let you hurt anyone and I will try my best not to seal you away. After all, what kind of father would seal away his own daughter?" Makarov asked as he smile down at her.
"Thank you." Leina said with a bright smile on her face.
"Now, we need to tell the Magic Council about this. While we're heading there we'll leave the backup planning to Mirajane and the others." Makarov stated as he used the Communications Lacrima Crystal to contact the others and let them know of the situation.
In less than an hour everyone was there in the guild. Once everything was done, Makarov and Leina headed to the Magic Council as the others waited. With some detailed explaining, the Magic Council finally put aside their doubts and put their trust in Leina. Soon enough Leina and Makarov were within a good distance from Fiore. As soon as Leina spotted the dark metal gate within the clouds her heart began to beat a mile a minute.
"What is that?" Makarov asked as soon as he spotted the gate as well.
"Hell's Gate, it's a magical gate that allows demons to go to and from our worlds." Leina said as they passed the gate and landed in front of the guild.
"Mira, how long has that gate been up there?" Leina asked as soon as she walked up to Mirajane.
"It's been up there for a few minutes, we've been watching it ever since it showed up." Mirajane stated.
"Everyone needs to get ready for a fight. We're gonna have to give it our all or we'll get hurt. I don't know what they're trying to do, but I have a good guess." Leina stated as a cloud of black and red mist surrounded her body.
In a matter of seconds, she was wearing a black and red outfit that showed a generous amount of her cleavage and stopped at her ankles where she wore blood red and black spiked heels. On her back and head were black wings and horns. Her eyes were demonic and her canine teeth were sharp enough to do a lot of damage. Not to mention, the claws that she had upon her hands.
"Is that a Take-Over?" Elfman asked as he looked at Leina's outfit, which somewhat reminded him of his sister in her Satan Soul Take-Over.
"Somewhat, the only difference is that half of my soul is infused with this Take Over." Leina answered as she seemed to be waiting for something.
"Something's coming." Mirajane stated as she changed in to her Halphas Take Over.
"Everyone get ready!" Leina yelled as they all got ready to fight.
"Charge!" Makarov yelled as everyone charged at the large crowd of demons that came through the gate.
Clifhanger! I really am gonna try to work my butt off in the next chapter so I can make the best fight scenes that I can for you guys. I hope that I do a good enough job, and just in case I don't please forgive me in advance. See ya next chapter XD.
