I honestly have no excuse. Poop. Sorry?

I don't lay claim the Percy Jackson series yada yada yada. Enjoy :3

Artemis POV

Pig-like squeals from the writhing sack was promptly silenced when I 'let' gravity place her on the marble flooring. The string of profanities that followed the thump but was drowned out by the curiosity-laced chatter of the rest of the Olympians- minus Apollo and Poseidon. How strange.

A sharp kick was all that was needed for a frazzled daughter of Athena to come crawling out of her confines, she didn't dare look up. Athena approached the hunched form of her daughter.

"Annabeth?"

Hesitantly, the said girl lifted her head, two pairs of magnificent grey orbs clashed, and a stream of questions seemed to have flown between them.

"I… I… sorry…"

"Are you really?"

"YES!"

"No you are not"

"I am I will make it right! Give me one more chance!"

"What am I the Goddess of Annabeth?"

"Wisdom, warfare, arts, literature, courage, inspiration… justice…"

"I don't think was an isolated incident Annabeth"

" … "

The Olympian only watched on as Athena helped her shocked, blubbering daughter from the cold, hard ground.

"You are hereby exiled from Camp Half-Blood you have a day to pack and say your good-byes"

They watched a knuckles turned white and a tear streaked face morphed into an ugly one warped by rage.

"I DON'T NEED THAT CAMP ANYWAYS!" she shrieked. I winced as the sharp voiced echoed in the large throne room.

"I DON'T NEED FRIENDS OR FAMILY OR PERCY OR YOU! ONLY POWER MATTERS IN THIS SELFISH WORLD! You gods are just old figures displayed in books! You have no followers! If it weren't for us you would cease to exist!"

I don't think was the only one starting to question her heritage. Slipping out of the room I made my way to my temple here on Olympus only to notice the front door of my brother's temple ajar. They say curiosity killed the cat but I am immortal so without another thought I was slinking though the rather long corridor decorated in riches in the form of gaudy pots and gold statues of one macho sun god. A metallic scent burdened the sweetened air of Apollo's temple. Blood. I could recognise it anywhere with hunting being a part of my day-to-day tasks with my hunters. The scent grew heavier the closer I got to the kitchen and yet I was still completely shocked to see one Apollo standing over a bloodied Perseus Jackson.

Poseidon POV

I rushed from one of the intricately laid out corridor with towels and warm water only to see Artemis lunge at her brother, hunting daggers expertly ripped from their sheaths. Panicking I did what I could from this distance. I hurled to orb of warm water that I had at hand; the force threw her back and left her dazed. Apollo let out an undignified squeak when the resulting crash resulted in him tearing the parchment he was holding.

A dishevelled moon goddess stumbled as she got up glaring daggers at me. Before she could say a word, Apollo started barking orders;

"I need that warm water NOW! And towels too! We need to clean all this blood off so I can see where the f*ck his wounds are!"

Dazed and confused Artemis stood up and demanded an explanation when Percy's body spasmed and he went into a coughing fit, blood trickling down his chin. With a flick of my wrist the water which I had thrown at Artemis had suspended itself in the air ejecting impurities and warming itself up again. I threw a towel at Artemis.

"You clean his chest, I'll clean his limbs"

Blood caked Percy's limbs and with every scrub revealed more purple splotches, more scratches, more burns, more pain that filthy mortal inflicted on my little boy.

My little boy.

My best and most favoured child.

Percy.

The leader.

The hero.

The kind child that grew into a selfless man of courage even through all the abuse.

I blinked away oncoming tears and resubmerged the towel into the ball of hovering water. The reddened cloth paled, the red diffused in the orb and tinted the water red.

It was at least half an hour of silence before I finished cleaning of his arms and legs.

I couldn't stop the gasp that escaped me when I wiped off his back.

1, 2, 3, 4. Long.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Short.

Lashes adorned his back, criss crosses old and stretched over the years.

Scars in the form of long slits.

An almost animalistic growl came from behind me. Artemis looked beyond furious, I could swear her fangs elongated.

"This wouldn't have happened if you didn't leave him with that bastard!" she snarled.

"What was I supposed to do?! Take him with me to Atlantis?!"

"It would have been better than abuse!"

"I had a war in my kingdom! He would have been targeted!"

"Olympus then! You have plenty of Dryads' that could have taken care of him and protected him!"

"No one could have protected him from Zeus' wrath!"

"You could have-"

"ENOUGH! What's done is done, I just regret not finding out sooner and preventing it"

And with that I strode away to contemplate.

I will apologise to Percy. I swear.

Percy P.O.V

My mind jumped awake with the argument around me. I cracked open the eye that wasn't swollen to see Apollo concentrating intensely my ribs hovering over me, swift hands aglow. Squinting, I made out my father stomping away and Artemis just about to follow. I grabbed her hand, they were muscular but slender; I can feel the calluses.

"Don't go, please."

She whipped around, auburn locks flung over her shoulder, eyes of swirling mercury wide in surprise. A soft smile which she will never admit to, adorned her lovely heart shaped face as our eyes met.

"Are you in pain?"

"Now that you mention it, no."

"I'm glad."

I made move to sit up but was pushed back down by a grumbling Apollo.

"Do you want to get healed or not?! Go to sleep or something"

Artemis sat down beside me, smile still on her face, it wasn't long before I dozed off, my hand still in hers.

Aaaand the end.

Just joking.
Also I got into DMMD! Don't search it up ;)
