Light shone all around, seemingly coming from no where, reflecting like diamonds. Colors swirled and danced in a frenzy of illumination. Flashes of greens, blues, pinks, yellows, were coming from all around growing in intensity and brightness. In the distance one could hear laughter, at first soft and sweet and then growing increasingly louder and louder until the world seemed to echo with pure joy and wonder.
It almost seemed too much to take, like seeing a light at the end of a tunnel and then the light grows brighter until even when you close your eyes you could see the world illuminated.
Just as a pair of tiny, miniscule eyes opened with the sound of tinkling bells, another set of eyes black with hate, narrowed in comprehension as if waking up from a dream.
