What is this you may ask. Well I will answer. No idea. I actually take yoga and this idea popped into my head during it. Nalu of course. Sooo short. That kind of bothers me. But I wrote this in class so no time to really elaborate.
Lucy grit her teeth in annoyance. How was he doing that? She shifted on her mat, glaring at the pink headed boy in front of her. He had been holding Donward Dog for more than five minutes with complete ease, meanwhile she was trembling with the effort and was sweating. Lucy had been coming to yoga class much longer than him, and this was his first class. Lucy had the sudden urge to yell at him.
"Okay class, good job," the instructed said. And just like that the class was over. The guy stood up and stretched his arms above his head. Lucy couldn't help but stare just a bit longer then necessary at his stretching muscles. He turned to leave and she quickly looked away, heat flushing her cheeks. He stared for a second, and then grinned.
"You're the weirdo who keeps muttering to herself," he said. She blinked at his sudden words and boldness. She reached up to pushed a strand of hair that had escaped her pony tail behind her ear.
"I wasn't talking to myself!" she grumbled.
He shrugged and smiled at her. Her heart picked up a beat.
"Whatever you say." He stuck out a hand. "I'm Natsu, nice to meet you."
Lucy pursed her lips but reluctantly shook his hand. To her surprise it was soft.
"Lucy," she said. He was still holding onto her hand.
"That's a weird name, Luigi, but cool!"
She scowled.
"My name is Lucy!" she said, yanking her hand back. He shrugged again, unconcerned.
"So Luce," he said, "wanna go get somethin' to eat? I'm starving."
Luce?
She cleared her throat.
"You shouldn't invite a stranger to hang out with you," she warned.
"Well how are we supposed to become friends if you don't hang out with me," he pouted.
Lucy wasn't sure whether to be annoyed or embarrassed.
Lucy rolled her eyes.
"Goodbye Natsu," she said. She started to walk away when she heard him call her. Turning, she raised her eyebrows.
"Will you be here next class?" he asked. Lucy nodded.
He grinned excitedly. "Then I'll see you then!"
His grin was infectious. Lucy grinned back at him. It was nice until he ruined it.
"Maybe I can help you with those positions you were having trouble with."
Lucy scowled at him.
As she turned and walked out she couldn't help the small smile that formed on her lips.
Oh he was trouble all right.
