"Advice?" Romano set his drink aside and smoothed out a few wrinkles in his clothing. "What sort of advice? Because if it is fashion, then let me tell you, you could do with a new look."

Germany shifted in his chair. "Advice… for Italy…"

"Oh! Why didn't you say so!" the blonde clapped, grin widening as he relaxed. Both he and Spain were resting comfortably side by side on the couch, with the Spaniard's arm thrown around his shoulder, watching the German nation looking rather restless in the chair across from them. The only reason he was here in Spain's home was because he could not find his book. He had looked everywhere he could think inside of his house for the missing item but it had yet to turn up. This frustrated him to no end and now here he was seeking the help of Italy's older brother for what to do next.

"So," Romano settled against Spain's side and smirked slightly. "You and my fratellino."

Spain snickered while the blonde German turned a brighter red colour. "Yes…"

"You two are really adorable together, I hope you know." Romano continued, waving his hands about while he spoke, "and I couldn't be happier to see Veneziano with someone as yourself. Though do know that if you break my dear brother's heart I will break your legs and sink you in the canal."

Germany stared while Romano shrugged. "It is only fair don't you think?"

"Romano," Spain reminded him and pressed a quick kiss to his temple, "maybe you should help him?"

The blonde grinned and chuckled. "I am allowed my fun, am I not?" He turned his gaze back to their guest and gazed at him over the coloured glasses he had donned that morning. "What is it that you are having difficulties with? It's not the sex is it? Because I can suggest a few positions that will really spice up that area."

Spain nodded happily in agreement. "Si, and I can assure you that things on your side will be equally enjoyable."

"Uh…" Germany flushed, "that's not what I was looking for…"

"Oh, which one were you thinking of?" Romano continued with a grin.

"That one where you are quite flexible, mi amour, and have your legs twisted up."

"Oh! And here I was assuming you liked it more when you were on your back."

"Well, I don't mind all most anything when I am with you."

"I need advice on dating Italy!" Germany cut in, face a deep red, as he tried to get the answers that he wanted.

Both nations paused and regarded him quietly. "Just to clarify," Romano started, "We are speaking about things such as taking Veneziano out to dinner on a date, correct?"

Germany fervently nodded his head. "Ja, bitte. I wish to provide for his needs better and make our relationship stronger."

"That is possibly the cutest thing I have heard all day." The blonde Italian gushed, making a mental note to call Japan later to tell him all the details. "It just beats that adorable giggle Prussia made earlier."

As if on cue, the quiet nation trod into the room carrying several items and rags as he worked at tasks around the house. Germany had been forced to bring him along today despite the sensitivity of the topic at hand though it was not as though he could leave his older brother at home alone for the day. The last time someone had it had taken ages to find him once they returned as he had decided to follow the post man back into town and decided to spend the afternoon in the back of their office sorting letters.

Prussia paused as Romano called his name and tilted his head to one side. "You are doing a marvelous job, tesoro!" the blonde commended him and he blinked before giggling and continuing out of the room. Romano shook his head. "I wish to adopt him."

Spain glanced down at the nation leaning against his side with a surprised look. "You do?" His head snapped up to address their guest. "Can we?"

"Nien." Germany replied sternly, wondering what he was really accomplishing by being here today. "About my question…?"

"Si, Germany you are terribly impatient." Romano waved the other's short attitude away with a flick of the wrist, "You want to know how to treat my brother more as a boyfriend than as an ally, am I correct?" He didn't wait for a response as he sat up and turned a patronizing burgundy gaze at the unsettled German. "Simply do small things for him regularly. Inexpensive gifts, little acts, say that you love him more often. They're all parts of relationships and I am sure you can figure out what my fratellino prefers." He sat back once again and lifted his drink to his lips, feeling satisfied at his answer.

Germany squirmed uncomfortably in his seat. "I… We haven't… said that we love each other yet."

Spain's jaw dropped open and Romano began to choke on his drink. The brunette snapped out of his surprised state to pat his partner on the back while their guest flushed a dark crimson at his admission. It had not exactly come up in conversation between he and Italy yet and was something that he felt the need to sit down and discuss, but from the way these two who he was sure were more experts seemed shocked to hear this. Not a good sign on his part.

Romano managed to calm himself down and gasped for breath while the brunette on the couch beside him looked on with concern. "You haven't…" the blonde panted, "told him your feelings?"

Germany quickly shook his head feeling more and more uncomfortable. He had obviously made some grievous error on his part. Romano didn't waste another moment as he leapt to his feet and pointed a finger to the door. "Go back, plan out something nice, and expound upon your feelings with as much honesty and romantic sentiment as you can possible muster, carogna, and I do not wish to see your face until you have!"

Italy was right, Romano was the scariest thing he had seen as he leapt up from his seat, thanking them both and exiting through the front door in a hurry. Romano sighed once he had gone, and held a hand to his face while he tried to sort through what had only just occurred. He could not believe the simplicity of certain people and was trying to collect himself in order to continue. It was proving difficult.

Spain rose and rubbed the blonde's arms in a comforting manner. "Don't worry about it so much, chiquito. They will eventually sort it out."

Romano sighed and tilted his head to rest against the Spainard's shoulder. "I just wish they could see how much they actually care about each other. It is so obvious! I saw it the moment Veneziano introduced me to him."

Spain smiled and kissed the other's temple. "Have patience. It will eventually work out, you will see. We should know. It took some time, but we are now quite happy, wouldn't you say?"

A pleased grin formed on the shorter's face and he turned, pulling himself up to wrap his legs around Spain's waist. "I would say so." he purred before capturing his lover's lips.

Prussia, if he ever spoke of such things, would have been able to attest that the sitting room couch was put to a good use that afternoon.

AN: This is late. This is really late. I'm terribly sorry about that, but as yesterday was my birthday I may have been a bit busy. This week should hopefully be on time!
