Dark and Dangerous
My first try at writing so please excuse any errors I make and bear with me...this fic will get dark and it will get dangerous and if at any time you feel it's too much then I understand. Also updates will be short but I will update as often as possible however. Hope you enjoy this!
I run as fast as I can, with no direction in mind but all I know is I need to run if I want to survive.
Twigs snap under my feet but the sound is muted out by my laboured breathing and my frantic heartbeat.
My legs burn as I push them, every muscle in my body aches, but I can't slow down.
He'll catch me.
I glance back quickly as I run but immediately come to a stop and my chest heaves as I regain oxygen. There's no one behind me, the woods are quiet with the exception of an owl and my breathing. No sound of heavy footsteps. No sound of his sinister chuckle.
Nothing.
A cold chill runs down my spine and I freeze. The small hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I gulp. Tentatively I turn my head to look over my right shoulder, my hands tremble at my sides and I gasp in fright. He's here.
My knees buckle under me and the sound of his cold laughter fills the night air, nailing me to the ground. I glance up at him as he stands tall and proud. His feet much like mine are bare and covered in dirt, only mine have scratches and cuts all over. He stands shirtless in his black Levis, his red hair slicked back perfectly, but it's the scar on his skin that catches my attention.
The number six in roman numerals has been branded above his heart, the number encased inside a circle of thorns. I shift my eyes to meet his furious black ones.
"You've been banished," I whisper in shock and my eyes flick back over to his chest.
He glares down at me, his dark lips pressed in a hard line yet he does nothing to deny the statement I've made. With my eyes focused on him, I move to stand up cautiously and face him.
I bite my lip and with what courage I have left I step towards him. "What. Do. You. Want. From. Me?"
Before I can even blink his hand shoots out, grabbing my neck in his metal grip. My feet lift from the ground as he holds me up under his hand, he presses on my throat making sure he blocks my airways. I claw at his hands as I choke and feel the burn in my throat, my eyes water and my head spins under the pressure. He brings his face to mine, his lips at my ears and breathes, "I want you to pay!"
Should I continue? Review for YES!
