Chapter 6: Fight

Nessie's POV
I watched as Bella fought Edward viciously. Then I felt Jacob yank on my arm and try to pull me away.

"Nessie I don't want you anywhere near the Cullens" Jacob sneered.

"But-" I started to say before Jacob interrupted me.

"Nessie you're leaving now" he said. He grabbed me without warning and put me on my father's back. I instantly grabbed onto the fur on the back of his neck as I knew what he was about to do. Jacob then phased into a wolf and followed us.

"Renesmee! Nessie!" I heard my family scream over and over again. I looked back and saw Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Jasper, and even Bella, who had stopped trying to kill Edward, look at me desperately as they all screamed my name over and over again.

My heart ached for them. They were my family, and they were victims of this situation as much as I was. They had always wanted me, and they loved me. I could see that. I needed to be with them. I needed to talk to them.

I screamed at my father to stop, and I pounded on his back over and over again to no avail. I was getting desperate and I would have to take matters into my own hands. I looked around to make sure that it was as safe as can be. Then I let go of my dad's fur and I jumped. I watched as the wolves ran off. None of them appeared to have noticed that I was missing. Then I saw my father freeze in the distance.

"Nessie!" I heard my family scream before I was engulfed in my mother's arms.

"Oh Nessie, my baby" my mom sobbed as she held me and kissed me.

"Mom, mommy" I cried into her chest. Every single member of the family had their turn with me as well. For the moment I was happy.

The sound of vicious snarling ruined that happy moment. I looked up and saw my dad, Jacob, Seth, Leah, Quil, and Embry snarling and growling at the Cullens.

Jacob took it upon himself to push me away from the Cullens; my family.

Jacob blocked my view of everything that was happening but that didn't stop me from hearing. The wolves and the Cullens were fighting. I couldn't just stand here and do nothing.

The problem is that Jacob blocked any way of escape. Then I had an idea. If my biological father was a vampire then surely I must've inherited a little bit of vampire strength. I started pushing and pushing until finally I got him to move a little. It wasn't a lot but since I was small I was still able to squeeze past Jacob. He tried to grab me again but I smacked his snout, which surprised him. I'd have to apologize for that later but he needs to know that I'm his imprint, not his pack member, and I refused to be treated like one.

The scene before me was frightening as the fighting went on. Then I saw my dad about to kill my mom. My mom closed her eyes as she seemed to accept her fate.

I threw myself in between them just in time. My dad just looked at me annoyed. He rolled his eyes as if telling me to move out of the way.

Meanwhile Jacob tried to pull me out of the way but I smacked his snout again.

"Stop!" I screamed.

Everyone froze. My dad, however, clearly had no attention of stopping. He tried to tell me to move out of the way again.

"They're not monsters! They have done nothing wrong! All they've done is help me and take care of me! They've showed me nothing but care, and kindness even before we knew we were related!" I said.

Jacob then disappeared and came back half a minute later human.

"Get out of the way Nessie" he said.

"I'm not moving anywhere" I said.

"Nessie-"

"Why are you attacking them? Is it just because they're vampires? If you all attack them when they've done nothing wrong then who is the real monster here?" I stated.

The wolves seemed to think about what I said and they stopped.

"You're right Nessie" he said. "So what're you going to do?" he asked.

"I want the chance to get to know them; especially my mother" I said. Bella smiled at me and hugged me tighter to her.

"What about Emily?" Jacob asked.

"Jacob I'm not leaving you guys" I said as I walked up to my father and hugged him.

"I could never leave my wonderful father here. He is the best dad in the world" my dad stood tall and proud as I said that.

"and Emily is the most wonderful mom that there is" I said. Bella looked sad when I said that. "but I also want to know my biological mother as well. I want to have two moms. As long as that's okay with everyone?" I said mostly aiming that last part to my mother.

She walked up to me and hugged me again. "Of course it is sweetie. I just want you to be happy" she said. I started to cry again.

"Jacob, dad, is it okay if I go with them for today?" I asked.

"Yes, it is Nessie" Jacob said and my father nodded his head in agreement.

My mother hugged me again. "I love you baby" she said.

"I love you to mommy" I said back to her.

I felt a spasm of panic when I realized that my vampire father would still be at the house. I was afraid to go near him now.

"What about Edward?" I asked. My mother stiffened and a flash of anger appeared on her face.

"Don't worry about him Nessie" Carlisle said. "We'll deal with him. I'm not sure what we are going to do though because what he did is completely inexcusable and unforgivable. I never knew that my son was capable of being so cruel" Carlisle said in an angry voice.
