My Beloved Demon

You are my friend,

though people thought you were a fiend.

Cruel you may be,

you were always good to me.

Whenever evil will try to make a strain,

you always remembered to try to take away my pain.

You became my dependable Dark knight,

yet you too became my very own Kryptonite.

You were a Cassanova of your own,

using your alluring charm you had me blown.

A mere smile from you made my heart flutter,

a touch from you made my whole body turn into butter.

Hours you choose to spend with me,

makes my whole soul and entity feel so free.

You are my safe haven,

that's why no matter what I'll choose you over heaven.

I know you'll disapprove of my choice,

that's why I'll turn out all of the unwanted noise.

You are the devil who had my heart,

yet here you are trying to change my mind from the start.

You convince me of not loving you,

though I know you love me too.

Yet when people harm me with their deadly charms,

you can't help it but take me in your cold caring and loving arms.

Destruction and end you may turn out to be,

I'll still love you no matter what they say to me.

You are my saviour and my redemption,

that' why I'll follow you without exception.

Loving you may turn out to be my greatest sin,

but I'm okay with that and I'll happily give in.
