She gave deep breath as the satellite phone rang.

"Andre? This is Doctor Temperance Brennan. I need to speak to your mother as soon as she can."

The young man remembered the doctor and understood what the call was for. "Doctor my mother is now at the clinic trying to keep things going as well as she can. I will be walking there soon so the call when be later today I believe."

"That will be great." She listed all the numbers she could be reached at and departed with the phone call.

Now to speak to her family.

She went to the dining room and sat near Booth at the table. She placed her hand on his. He sat the tablet beside his plate and looked at her. "Are you okay Bones?" "I am but I would like your help, opening our home to displaced children from a small village that is being torn apart due to war." Temperance did not let the coolness of her blue eyes leave his. She wanted to make sure she could pick up on any social hint that may show discomfort to the idea so soon. He swallowed the food and looked at her. "What do we have to do?"

"I will be talking to one of the lead hospital wards to see what they need most, then I need believe we can go from there."

"Okay, are we going to be able to do this alone?"

"Well since the children are coming from a hospital I was thinking of staffing child care nursing and appointing a doctor."

Booth leaned back in the seat and smiled "You have done a lot of planning Bones." She smiled "I am completely devoted to making an effective plan for us to help care for the children." They finish up smaller chatting and separate to finish their lazy day around the house. Each ringing or chirping tone put the couple on edge to have to leave for work or to be making a major family move. The day finally bustled by and dinner was prepared and consumed. Booth pulled on his daughter's jacket and tugged his son's hat down his ears to protect them from the brisk autumn air. Parker mumbles a little song about the ice cream he and his sister were about to have with their father. Seeley stops in the kitchen doorway "Pie and ice cream Bones?" She gently smacks her lips "Just ice cream please, cherry Garcia." "Could go good with a slice of cherry pie but okay." He presses a kiss to his daughter's temple, "Let's go get some ice cream!" Parker trots through the hall to the door "See ya mom!" He halts and thinks quickly "I mean Bones! Well, uh, how about Mom B?" His little mind was quickly processing if that was a good name for his father's wife. He walked back to the kitchen door way and looked at Temperance for permission. "How about Mom B?" She looked at the precocious young boy. "That is just fine Parker." Smiles exchanged and the father ushers the kids to the car for the drive to the ice cream parlor.

Temperance ran hot water over the dinner dishes and loaded the washer before settling on the couch with an interesting genetic history article from an associate of hers. Not five minutes into the read the house phone rings. Reaching down the couch she really hoped it was Maxxanne.

"Hello, Booth residence." She was able to quickly pick on that answering habit due to the Booth men always answering with such pride to have that name.

"Hello," An accented English speaker was calling, a hearty woman voice tinged with weariness, "I am looking to speak to Doctor Temperance Brennan. I am Maxxanne Urgaway of Tiberlo's Hospital."

The scientist laid down the paper, "Maxx, it's me Tempe. I am so glad to hear from you."

"The same to you." the other woman returned
