Leo and Raph instantly Stepped in front of Mikey.
Both taking defensive stances.
There was no way they would let who ever was behind that door hurt their little brother!
Mikey Instinctively grabbed onto Donnie. He clung to him for dear life.
He new who was behind that door they all did.
The air in the room was tense the eerie silence continued to wash over them.
When the door was fully open. No one moved. To say they were confused was an understatement.
No one was there. The hallway was unnaturally black. They stood there staring at the darkness waiting,
But nothing happened. Leo new. He new they couldn't stand there forever. He also new this was most defiantly a trap.
He didn't have a chance to decide whether or not to leave the room.
Raph was already strolling over to and out the door like he had no cares in the world.
Sighing Leo new he had to follow him. Raph was already out the door and they could barely see his fading form.
"Raph! Wait!" Leo yelled as he jogged after him
Don Glanced down at Mikey as he also started to fallow the others.
He could tell the youngest was scared even if he was doing a good job at hiding it.
"Come on Mikey. We should go with them. Shell knows the trouble Raph can get in."
The brainy turtle frowned when the only response he got was a swift nod and the sound of the youngests feet hitting the floor behind him.
The dark figure grinned as he watched the four figures walking on the screen in front of him.
This was to easy. It almost took the fun out of his game. ALMOST!
"Sir the freaks are heading for the labs!" A robotic voice exclaimed over the monitor.
The Ratking glared at the screen. He new that! What did Stockman think he was an idiot!?
He only kept the scientist around for his brain!
He was more then happy this shredder person had taken away the scientists body long ago.
Although the talking robotic brain was just as annoying.
"You fool! Stockman That's where I wish for them to go. Trap them in the digger! They're going for a little ride!"
"Yes sir!" Stockmans answered. How he had managed to get himself in this situation was beyond him.
He was panicked this Ratman wouldn't let him live much longer he needed to escape.
The brothers couldn't see more then a foot in front of them at a time.
Having to rely on their other senses normally wouldn't be such a big deal.
With out sight they still had sound, Except all they could here was rats all around them in the walls and pips.
Taste wasn't much help in a situation like this. As for sent the air smelt of rot. It was overwhelming making the brothers feel dizzy.
Don was glad they couldn't see. He was terrified of what could be the source of that smell.
So the four brothers found a wall and stuck to it as they walked.
They placed their left hands on the shoulder of the turtle in front of them well their right hand never lost contact with the wall.
Leo was unsure where he was going for all he new he could be leading them in circles.
The only thing that kept him going was the reassuring squeeze Donnie's hand would do every time he showed down.
This was to easy. They had been walking for over ten minutes and nothing?
Not a goon or a light? No sign anyone was or had ever been there. He should have known.
There was no way he could have but in Leos mind he should have seen this coming.
Leo froze when he felt floor below them begin to slope suddenly!
One moment It was flat and the next his footing was gone!
Before he new it he was falling dragging Donnie down with him.
He could hear Mikey cry out in pain when he grabbed his purple banded brother tighter.
But they all new he couldn't support all their weight even with Raph still holding onto Mikey firmly.
They ended up just hanging there.
Dangling above the unknown. The others could hear Mikey breathing through gritted teeth.
Each breath lased with pain he was trying not to show.
"Mikey!" Raph shouted down at him. "Breath bro. Deep breaths I got you!"
Before the youngest could reply. A bright light filled the room!
Effectively blinding the turtles where they hung. The shock of the light was more then enough to startle the brothers,
losing their grips before falling.
Luckily for them the fall was less then ten feet.
They landed with a sickening thud piling unto of each other. Leo gasped out in pain!
Having three over sized mutant turtles fall on top of you leaves you with some pain.
A sickening laugh filled the air. It sounded almost robotic. Witch definitely confused the brothers.
Before anything more could be said or done a door slammed shut above them. Leaving them once again in darkness.
