Sarah sat in Jareth's throne room. He had another throne installed just for her. "So what you're telling me is that all of the kids who disappear from my world or who are 'killed' really end up here?" The look on her face told Jareth she was trying to process the information.

"Yes, precious, that they do. Can't have them hurt, can we?" He smiled like it was the most obvious thing.

"In my world there was this high profile case where a mother is thought to have murdered her two year old. They found the body and everything. But the mother was acquitted, though most people believe she did it."

"Ah I know exactly who you're talking about. Yes I saved her. But the mother's intentions were still there, so I left her something a like a," he paused to look for the right word, "golem. I wanted her to be punished. We do that a lot here to save children but still have their would be tormentors and killers punished." His eyes flashed red.

Sarah tried to defuse the situation. "It's wonderful of you to save all the children that you can. You're a very brave fae, not at all what I thought you were." She leaned over and kissed his cheek.

Jareth turned his head and caught her lips in a searing kiss. Sarah would never get used to his kisses. They seemed to last for seconds and hours all at the same time. They made her toes curl and heat bloom low in her belly. She pulled away for air and leaned her forehead onto his. "You sir, are going to be the death of me if you keep doing that." But she smiled to let him know she very much wanted him to keep doing that.

"I love you, precious."

"I love you, too, Jareth."
