A/N: I think I'm gonna just let this story go it's own way, every so often following the ways of White Collar. It's very tedious and time consuming to stop and pause the television and I have so much school work to do. Also, did you know that Neal and lean have the exact same letters?

Dani walked into the office, smoothing out her blouse as she did. She saw Neal in the briefing room and was about to go to her desk when Peter called her up, causing her to groan and walk up the stairs. Neal smiled charmingly at her as she sat down, Diana and Jones were sat in the room as well. "The business we investigated is having a large party to celebrate money they recently received, more money equals more people and more stocks." Peter informed, setting files in front of them.

"The other guys we investigated will be small fish compared to the guys at this party." He added, Dani had her head buried in the file, not paying attention to Peter talking until he said something that made her ears perk up. "In order to get in, Jones will appear as a body guard for someone, and Diana will be out in the van beside the building."

"What about Neal and Dani?" Diana asked, gesturing towards the two. Peter wasn't saying something as he stared at them, he sighed and spoke. "Dani and Neal will be posing as a married couple, Jones will be their body guard."

"Whoa, whoa -" Dani started, looking up at him before glancing at Neal. "He didn't even buy me dinner!" She complained to Peter, causing Neal to hide a laugh. "I'm not marrying him."

"Don't worry, it's only for one night. You'll stay in a room together, pose as the perfect couple and then you'll be out." Peter reassured before Dani rolled her eyes and sighed quietly. The next day, she was being shoved in a long, blue dress against her wishes. She had on the dress and looked at Peter. "I got a babysitter for Ricky yesterday."

"Is it Janet?"

"No, it's my friend Allison. She can stay longer than Janet." Dani replied with a slight huff of air, shaking her head as she put in her earrings. Dani walked out of the room she was in with all make-up and jewellery on before she met with Neal who was standing in a suit with a bow-tie on. "You look gorgeous." Neal told her, and Dani nodded her thanks.

"As do you." She blushed. "Handsome, I mean - Guys can look gorgeous..."

"Jones will be driving you to and from, not leaving your side except to make sure the perimeter is clear, as a body guard would do." Diana told them, Neal made a noise and reached into his pocket. He gently took Dani's left hand in his and first slipped on the engagement ring and then the wedding band, she noticed he already had one on.

"These are beautiful..." She mused, glancing up at Neal. "They have tracking chips and sound devices in them." Peter told her and Dani smiled. "There is also two bugs you can set inside your clutch and Neal has two in his suit pocket."

"You two ready?" Jones asked, walking inside. Dani and Neal nodded to him, they walked out and got in to the car before being driven to a hotel. "Wow." Dani muttered, getting out as Jones opened her door. She thanked him.

"From here on out, I'm your body guard."

Dani and Neal nodded, walking in with Jones behind them. Dani moved to link one of her arms with Neal, looking around the large party room. "And what is your name?" The woman at the front asked. It was quite the fancy place.

"Danielle and Neal Jonas." Neal told the woman, smiling at her. "Ah, here you are! Two of our newest investors. And who is this?" She asked, pointing to Jones. "Our body guard, my wife and I use to be in some business that almost cost us our heads!" Neal laughed, causing the woman to laugh and allow them inside.

The three of them were there, making conversation with people. There was "Oh, yes, my husband - Neal - he loves going for these sort of parties, it allows him to map out the competition!" from Dani and "My wife is really an amazing person, she handles everything nowadays. It's much more efficient that way." from Neal. The very cheesy, boring conversation you'd expect.

An hour later they were standing by the bar and Dani looked annoyed. "All these people are driving me nuts."

"Have you not done this before?" Neal asked, sipping some champagne. "I have, it just gets boring." She replied with a shrug.

"Let's dance." Neal said, setting down his glass and reaching for Dani's, setting it down when he had it in his hand. He also set her clutch down, which made her whine slightly. "I don't wanna lose that purse, Neal."

"You won't, I promise. Now, c'mon."

Dani sighed gently and took his hands, walking to the middle of the floor as tango music started. "Neal, I can't tango."

"That's why there's two of us, Dani." Neal said with a smirk. Dani almost groaned at his cheesiness. "It takes two to tango."

He set one hand on her waist and outstretched the other with his arm, locking their fingers together. They began easily, Neal telling her to just relax and let him lead. And he did, the only way Dani could describe it was "going in the direction someone else was, and backing up a lot" and Neal scoffed at her description. Dani enjoyed it, because Neal's hands were sliding up her body and down her body, and holding her in ways she never imagined he would. Their little display caused other people to begin dancing, and they finished off the night with a slow dance.

"Y'know, that tango wasn't too bad." Dani told Neal quietly, as Peter and Diana listened in through their microphones and ear phones.

"You did pretty well for not knowing how to do it." Neal complimented, causing Dani to blush. She had her arms around his neck and his hands were on her waist, not going down at all. "I'm gonna go up to the room and crash." Dani told him, pulling away from him as a few people watched. To these old people, Neal and Dani were a cute, fresh and young couple.

Dani took his hand and kissed him, Neal shocked by the gesture as he still had one hand on her waist. Her red lipstick smearing a bit on his lips as he kissed her with more pressure. Neal watched her go get her clutch and cup his cheeks, kissing him once more before wiping the red splotch off his lips. "Bye." She said, fishing the room key from her purse as she stepped back a bit. Neal nodded and gently slid his hand from hers, letting her walk away. He stayed downstairs for ten minutes more before going up the stairs and to their room.

"I was beginning to think you weren't coming up." Dani told him, looking at the suitcase with different changes of clothes that Peter had sent here. Neal took out his ear piece and looked at her. "I told Peter were going silent for the night."

"So did I." Dani replied. "I want sleep without my uncle in my ear."

Neal chuckled, he noticed she was wearing a loose shirt and pyjama shorts while she was taking out her earrings. "You can have the bed." Dani told him. "I'm use to couches."

Neal shook his head, watching her wipe off the red lipstick she had on. "No, you take the bed."

Dani stared at him, watching him to begin to take off his tie and his suit jacket. "I'm gonna get changed and take the couch." Dani nodded towards him, watching him walk into the bathroom. He came out a minute later without a shirt on, claiming he had forgotten to bring one in. Dani's mouth went dry as she stared at him, trying to avert her eyes. "What was that kiss downstairs?" He asked as he came out a minute later, changed into something he could sleep in.

"Hm?" Dani asked, sitting on the bed. "I was trying to sell it."

"Right." Neal replied, walking over to sit beside her. "Why don't you just share the bed with me? I feel bad about having you take the couch."

"I chose the couch." He reminded her, tilting his head to look at her. Dani bit her lip and sighed softly. "Yeah, I know -" She cut herself off and looked down, before looking back up at him. They stared at each other for a moment before Neal leaned closer to her, his nose almost brushing hers. "I can sleep here if you'd like, though."

Dani closed the small gap, bringing her hand up to gently rest against his neck, the other pressed to his chest. Neal's hands moved her slightly, she backwards-crawled up the bed with Neal over his, kissing her slowly. Eventually, their kiss turned hot. Neal's body was between her leg, softly grinding against her as he kissed down the line on her neck. Dani let out a moan, and that's all it took for him to make sure she was ready for more.
