Chapter 18: First Doctors Appointment

Rachel's POV:

Noah slept over and I was so happy. I woke up to running to the bathroom and throwing up. Noah came in and pulled my hair back. He was rubbing circles around my back saying soothing words. As soon as I stopped I looked at Noah.

"I hate morning sickness." I said. He laughed.

"I could imagine." Noah replied.

"So today is our first doctor appointment." I said. I stood up and brushed my teeth.

"Ya. Are you nervous?" he asked.

"Kind of. I just hope the baby is healthy." I replied.

"Same. Let's get dressed and eat breakfast. We have to leave soon." Noah said. I nodded and got ready for the day. I wore sweatpants and Noah's sweatshirt. I came out of the bathroom.

"How do I look?" I questioned. He turned around.

"My sweatshirt looks hot on you." he said with a smirk. He kissed me. He was wearing jeans and shirt. We went downstairs and had cereal. Dads went out today.

"Alright are you ready to go?" he asked. I nodded. We got in the car and drove to the doctors. We signed in after receiving a dirty look from the people surrounding us. We sat down.

"Ignore them babe. They are just jealous that you have a hot looking guy with in your arms." Noah said with a smirk. I laughed.

"Rachel Berry." The doctor called. We stood up and walked over to him.

"Is he the father?" the doctor questioned.

"Yes." I answered.

"Of course. Please follow me. I'm Doctor Wu. It's nice to meet you Rachel. Good to see you again Noah." Dr. Wu said. Puck and I smiled. We walked in.

"Please put this on and I will be right back." he said. I nodded. I got undressed and put the robe on. I laid on the bed and Noah held my hand.

"It will be okay. The baby is going to be perfect." Noah stated.

"Thank you. I love you." I exclaimed.

"I love you too babe." he replied. The doctor walked in and placed gloves on.

"Okay Rachel you just found out. How many weeks do you think you are?" he questioned.

"Um five weeks." I replied.

"Okay. This gel is going to be cold. Let's take a look at your baby." Doctor Wu said smiling. He put the gel on it was cold. I gripped Noah's hand tighter. We looked at the screen and I saw a blob.

"So you are actually six weeks pregnant. The baby is growing and is healthy." Dr. Wu stated.

"That's our baby Noah." I whispered tears falling down my face. He kissed me.

"I'm going to print out five copies for you." he explained. We nodded and he left.

"This is going to be perfect." I said.

"It will be." Noah replied. The doctor came in and handed us the pictures.

"Rachel are you on any special diets?" he asked.

"Yes. I am a vegetarian." I replied.

"Well I suggest you learn to eat some meat because the baby won't receive the proteins they need. How is your morning sickness?" he said/asked.

"Okay I guess it couldn't hurt. The morning sickness happens a lot." I replied.

"That is a good thing. I am going to give you a prescription for some daily vitamins that you should take once a day. I want to see you in a month." Dr. Wu stated.

"Thank you." Noah and I replied. He smiled and handed us the prescription.

"Have a nice day." he said.

"You as well." I replied.

"Now let's go sign up for next months appointment and go get some lunch." Noah stated.

"That sounds perfect." I replied. We went over to the desk and paid. We also made our next appointment. We decided to get lunch at the diner. I had Grilled Cheese with fries and water. Noah had steak and fries. He had soda with his meal. We drove home and had a relaxing day.
