Chapter 28: Nationals Part 1

Puck's POV:

Rachel woke me up at 7:00 am because we had to practice for Nationals today at 8. We got dressed and brushed our teeth. We changed into comfy clothes and headed to the practicing room where everyone was.

"Finally!" Kurt said.

"Shut up." I yelled annoyed that we couldn't sleep in late. We had a nice relaxing day by the hot tub and pool yesterday because today, we will be working all day.

"Noah be nice." Rachel said. I nodded because I didn't know if she would be cranky today. Mr. Shuester walked in with Ms. Pilsburry.

"Good morning guys. This is how we are going to play out today. 8-11 we are going to work on the group number "We Can't Stop The Beat", then 11-1, we will have lunch here. When we finish lunch, which should be done by 2, we will let Sam, Noah and Santana rehearse their song "Uptown Fun." We will then let Rachel sing, "Let It Go" two times and by 5 I want to run the group number again. Then we will go out for dinner. When we arrive back from dinner, we will relax for the rest of the night." Mr. Shuester explained.

"How does that sound?" he then asked after a moment of silence. We all agreed.

"Great now let's practice the group number!" he finished. We practiced the group number and it was now 11:00.

"Alright guys! This is a great start! Lets go get lunch!" he said. We all nodded. Rachel came over to me and I kissed her. We then walked over to the buffet that they had.

"You were great." I stated.

"Thanks. So were you. Now let's go get food. Caroline and I are hungry." Rachel stated. We laughed and walked over to the food. I gave Rachel a plate and let her go first. Then I went. I picked some cheeseburger, and fries. I grabbed a coke. We sat down together. I looked at Rachel's plate, which consists of Chicken Finger, Fries, and an apple. She then had a cup of water. I chuckled.

"Hey it's not my fault that Caroline eats a lot. She must got that from you." she said. Everyone laughed.

"I can't wait to practice my solo. I am nervous though." Rachel whispered.

"You will do great! Why are you nervous? You never get nervous. You're Rachel Berry for crying out loud." I said. I have a feeling she is nervous because she is pregnant and she might think people are judging her off of that.

"It's because I am pregnant. People might think that I am a slut or something. I don't care about that. I am afraid that people will judge it and not focus on my voice." she replied. I knew it. I was smiling.

"Babe. They will love you. I'm not just saying that. Your voice is amazing! We will win this. Trust me." I exclaimed. She leaned over and kissed me.

"I love you." Rachel said.

"I love you too." I replied.

"Hey we are trying to eat here!" Santana said. Rachel and I rolled our eyes. We finished lunch and headed back to the rehearsal room.

"Alright Sam, Puck, Santana, lets see your song!" Mr. Shuester exclaimed. We then were the only ones on the floor, while the others sat in the chair watching.

Rachel's POV:

Noah is doing amazing. I have a great feeling that we are going to win. They finished and we all clapped. I ran over and kissed him.

"How was I?" he asked.

"Amazing!" I stated.

"Alright Rachel! It's your turn!" Mr. Shuester said. I was left in the center and I sang my heart out to "Let it Go." Once I was finished, everyone jumped up and clapped. Noah came over and twirled me. He set me down and kissed me. I did the song once more and had the same response.

"Alright amazing! Let's do the group number once more and then we will get ready and go out for dinner." Mr. Shuester explained. We finished the group number and Mr. Shuester let us shower and get ready. It was 4. So we had to be downstairs no later then 5:30. We showered and got changed. I went in jeans and a nice purple blouse.

"You look gorgeous." Noah said as I came out.

"Thanks. You look handsome as well." I stated. He kissed me. He was wearing jeans and a nice shirt. We headed downstairs and met the other. We decided to go to he diner. We had a lovely dinner and headed back to the hotel to get ready for bed.

"Goodnight Noah." I said as we climbed into bed.

"Goodnight Rachel and Caroline." he replied. He kissed me and we went to bed even though it was only 9pm. We had to be up at 6:00 to get ready for Nationals. We better win.
