Jayden felt incredibly warm as he let out a low groan. He grunted in pain as he staggered o his feet. He felt a jolt of pain shot up his spine when he remembered the stab wound Cyrus gave him. He looked around to see where he was and realized he was in some sort of desert.

"What the hell?" Jayden asked himself as he observed the land better. It was actually a barren wasteland. He quickly looked around and realized that he was alone.

"Ally?" Jayden shouted, no one answered. "Jason, Sam, Flynn anyone?"

Jayden slowly walked away towards some random direction. He looked around and saw nothing but sand, rocks and an orange sky. Jayden was starting to get nervous as he trekked on ahead hoping to find his friends.

He didn't take ten steps away from where he started before being swarmed by a bunch of small men in metal armor and red helmets that wielded spears. They didn't offer any trade, truce or smug comments. They only wanted Jayden dead.

Jayden drew his sword, which he noticed he still had, and sliced a few of them across their chests. Jayden blocked a few of their attack and cut down a few more but they just kept coming.

He managed to cut a hole through the pack and used his Adonis speed to run away, but he noticed that he was really drained of energy. His powers usually take up a lot of energy when he's healing fatal wounds, but it was a stab wound in his waist. Without treatment he would have bled to death, but he had regeneration it didn't make sense.

Then it hit him. The knife Cyrus used to stab him. It was coated with a deadly poison which probably killed him, or would have if the Adonis didn't suppress it. Since the Adonis would suppress and regenerate his fatal wound he would be exhausted for a short while, but he would be no match for anyone for a short while.

He pulled his magnum out and fired at the little men who still followed him and was quickly running out of time. Just as they got closer a dark figure jumped between him and the little men. He flexed his arm out as a scythe assembled in his hands and had begun chopping away at them. He then reassembled the weapon into a gun and fired at the little men sending them flying in a fiery explosion. When it looked like the cost was clear he turned towards Jayden.

"Hey Flynn." Jayden muttered.

"Hello Jayden." Flynn said as he took his mask off and took off his hood. "What happened to you?"

"My Adonis formula." Jayden grunted. "It took up too much energy healing me, it exhausted my body."

"Damn it." Flynn snapped.

"What about you, what happened back at Adrian's headquarters?" Jayden asked, remembering how they here hanging from the ceiling like decorations.

"We don't know." Flynn said. "We woke up and were surrounded by a lot of our old nemeses. He tried to fight them but they must have been given some of Trigon's power kind of like Seth Gallagher. I fought Phantom and swiped my blade across his chest but the bastard, but it was like hitting a ghost it just flew right through him."

"Oh damn." Jayden grunted. "What about everything else?"

"Black Beard looked like a cursed skeleton pirate, Johnson could shoot dark flames that Sam couldn't control and Double J turned into a freaking vampire bat. It was fucking crazy."

"Okay, we need to regroup. You have anyway of contacting the rest of the team?"

"No, my radio doesn't work." Flynn grunted. "I hope they are okay."

"Me too."

The two then started walking off into the opposite direction of where they came and kept an eye out for any more enemies. As the two walked they started to notice that this desert was very different from home, the sky was orange even though the sun was still Far East and also that they have been there for more than an hour and the sun hasn't moved an inch.

Something was very wrong and they both knew it.

(!)

Gauntlet was use to immune to heat thanks to Vulcan, but that didn't stop him from getting thirsty. He needed to find his friends and get the hell out of here, wherever here is.

As he walked he felt a presence approach him from behind. He quickly grabbed his magnum and turned around to see Phoenix, Ronin, Dusk and Zoom. The demigod let out a sigh of relief and holstered his gun.

"Sam, damn am I glad to see you." Phoenix exclaimed. The two high-five and Sam looked at the small group.

"Is this it?" Sam asked.

"Unfortunately." Dusk grunted. "Had a hell of a time finding each other but at least we're not alone."

"Agreed, still I wish we could find the girls though." Zoom sighed. Ronin put a hand on his shoulder to reassure his friend that they were okay.

"We've got the Earth's strongest and toughest women on our team." Ronin said optimistically. "Hitgirl and Whisper alone could send the bravest running. If they have Theodosia and Breeze on their side they will be just fine."

"What about Artemis and Star they can kick some ass too." Dusk chipped in.

"And don't forget Mystico she can turn people inside out with her magic." Gauntlet chuckled.

"And if they have Apollo she can always patch up their wounds with her advanced technology." Phoenix reassured. Zoom nodded and smiled.

"Okay, thanks guys." Zoom said sincerely.

"Let's just keep our heads on straight and we'll get out of this easy-peasy."Gauntlet grinned.

"You and your optimism." Ronin grunted, Sam gave him a glare. "Where do you think we are the Middle East or the Sahara Desert?" Ronin started examining the layout of the land. "It looks like the sun is in the east which means it should be morning yet the color of the sky is orange as if it were dusk. This is also a desert and it should be hot as hell yet if feels only warm as if it were a spring day."

"What are you saying?" Zoom asked.

"I'm just saying that we might be farther from home than we expected." Ronin said in a monotone voice. "I'm saying that we are on another world."

Everyone started to panic at that assumption. Another world, they kept repeating over and over in their heads. It couldn't be.

"I don't know man this seems a little farfetched." Zoom sighed. "I mean, come on another world?"

"Where else could we be?" Ronin asked.

"Ugh, we're getting nowhere." Gauntlet groaned. "Let's just regroup with the team and go from there."

"Good plan," Zoom stated. "Let's-"

Before he could finish he started to sink into the ground and let out scream for help.

"Guys, something's got me!" He shouted.

Ronin quickly grabbed him, but was not strong enough to pull him out. Phoenix also helped and was slowing Zoom down, but he wasn't stopping whatever had Zoom. Gauntlet was about to help, but Dusk charged up his Adonis strength and gripped onto Zoom's arms tight. He used all his strength to pull him out and that's when Gauntlet saw a metal tail with a serrated blade on the tip.

He quickly pulled out his magnum and fired at the tail freeing Zoom and destroying the tail. The scared boy didn't have time to thank him before the ground started to rumble and three giant, worm like monsters rose up from the ground.

"Holy crap!" Phoenix shouted.

The group scattered quickly as the monsters quickly dived into the ground missing them by mere inches.

Phoenix quickly looked around to see any kind of movement before one of the worms shot out of the ground towards him. He was ready to shoot it, but Dusk quickly ran over and tackled the monster to the ground. The two struggled for a bit before Phoenix aimed his palm at the monsters head and blew it off with a fire bolt.

Ronin stood absolutely still waiting for the worm to strike. He blocked out everything else except the ground beneath his feet. He then sensed a strong movement coming up behind him and ducked out of the way just as it attacked. It flew over him allowing him to place a small charge on it neck and the second it went back in the ground it exploded sending sand, shrapnel and meat chunks flying through the air.

Zoom had been running around fast enough so he wouldn't get caught, but slow enough that he wouldn't cause a small sand storm for his team. He watched Gauntlet stand still waiting for the worm to attack like the others but this one shot its tail out and sliced Gauntlet's leg. He let out a scream of pain as the worm flew out of the sand towards him, but Zoom dashed towards Gauntlet and pushed him out of the way.

Gauntlet managed to pull out his magnum and fired a fire bullet at its head before it could touch the ground. Its head blew up and Gauntlet and Zoom both let out a sigh of relief.

"Hey guys look at this." Phoenix called out.

Everyone got to their feet and walked over to one of the corpses and examined the remains.

"Big whoop its hamburger meat." Gauntlet scoffed.

"No idiot, look." He said pointing at the meat and then the shrapnel. "This isn't an act of God but man. This thing was created." Gauntlet and Ronin both kneeled down and examined the beast.

"What is the purpose of this?" Gauntlet asked, but no one had an answer. "Was this place meant for us, created by Adrian?"

"I don't know, but if we don't find the rest of the team we won't be leaving here alive." Ronin grunted.

"Damn, if only we had a way of contacting them." Zoom grunted as he kicked the sand beneath his feet. That's when Gauntlet had an idea.

"Guys, I have a plan."

(!)

Breeze led her group of girls through a thick forest that was inhabited by unusual animals. They passed by a few monkeys with whiskers which Star wanted to take home, but Whisper smacked that childish notion out of her head. Even if the voice of Sarah in her head told her she wanted one as well.

"So, what exactly is our plan?" Hitgirl asked.

"I don't know, I'm not familiar with this alien planet." Breeze grunted in annoyance.

"Sheesh, sorry didn't mean to bother you." Hitgirl snapped sarcastically.

"Ally, are you okay?" Theodosia asked. "You've been pretty…"

"Bitchy." Hitgirl blurted out earning a few stares from the group.

"Anyways, you've been like this since London, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing, I've just been under a lot of pressure."

"Maybe I should give you a scan real quick, we can't risk you getting sick." Apollo said as she readied her scanners.

Just then the ground started to shake beneath them and they lost their balance and fell over one another. Hitgirl, Artemis and Whisper readied their guns as Theodosia, Mystico and Star readied their powers. Apollo had her hand on the ground and her scanners picked up something incredible. Her eyes widened in panic as she lifted her hand off of the ground.

"Oh my god." She gasped and turned to Ally. "You're fucking pregnant!"

Breeze looked down to see that Apollo's left hand was on her stomach and her scanner was detecting another life inside her. She quickly pushed Apollo off her and everyone stared at her with wide eyes.

Just then Hitgirl and Whisper were both pulled into the ground and everyone quickly rushed over to help. The effort was wasted when an explosion erupted from the ground along with chunks of whatever had taken the girls."

"Hilary, Sarah!" Artemis shouted. "Are you okay?"

They heard Hitgirl chuckling as a cable flew out from the hole in the ground and attached to a tree above it. Hitgirl reeled herself above ground from her wrist cable with Whisper in her arms.

"Nothing a few grenades can't fix." Hitgirl chuckled.

"What was that godforsaken beast?" Mystico shouted.

"I don't know what it was but I know what it is now. Dead." Hitgirl chuckled as she was pulled to safety.

"Are you okay Whisper?" Star asked as she took hold of her.

"Yeah, be better if we had the rest of the team though." Whisper grunted.

"Wait, what this about Ally being pregnant now?" Hitgirl asked.

All eyes were on her. She just stayed still not looking at anyone. Star walked up to her and eyed her with a skeptical look.

"I take it you didn't tell Jayden either." She asked accusingly causing Ally to look away in shame.

"We were so wrapped up with taking down Adrian that I didn't want to worry him." She muttered. "Then I just didn't know when to tell him."

"Well you have to tell him soon, if something happens." Star was cut off when an orange beam of light shined up to the sky. This caught everyone's attention and they tried to figure out what was going on. That's when Artemis figured it out.

"It's Sam." She exclaimed as everyone looked over at her. "When we were kids and we got separated he would shine a light up towards the sky to let us know where to regroup."

"Alright," Star grinned. "Let's get going then we can finally regroup with our team."

"And figure a way out of this mess." Mystico exclaimed.

Ally still looked depressed and Hitgirl placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry we'll stay quiet for now." She promised as did the rest of the girls. Ally smiled at her friends and perked up.

"Alright, let's go!"

(!)

Gauntlet stood still shining his light through the sky as Dusk, Zoom, and Phoenix aimed their guns. Dusk had his p99, Zoom had a USP. 45 and Phoenix had duel MP9's. Ronin didn't use guns and decided to cover them with his own skills.

"Alright guys, even though I am a beacon for the rest of the team I am also going to attract a lot of attention from the baddies as well. So keep me covered." Sam explained.

"You got it!" Dusk shouted.

"You can count on us." Zoom agreed.

"Get ready here they come." Ronin said in a low voice, brandishing his scalers.

A small swarm of those little alien hunters emerged from nowhere and charged towards the small group.

The three opened fired on them taking them down one by one. Dusk and Zoom timed their shots due to a lack of ammo. Phoenix on the other hand scattered his bullets hitting as many as he could.

Good times can't last forever though and the three were out of ammo with more of the pygmy men coming along with what looked like giant reptiles with metal collars, possible their steeds.

Dusk pulled out his tonfa's as Phoenix readied his fire powers.

Ronin dived towards the small army and sliced away at them while deflecting their spears. Dusk beat them down with his tonfa's and Zoom used his speed to create a small vortex and disoriented the minions.

This allowed Phoenix to blast them with a fiery explosion blast. He grinned in satisfaction but was soon knocked on his ass by one of the lizard creatures. Dusk quickly came to his rescue and smacked it on the side of its head with his tonfa.

He was then swarmed by the little men and was soon brought to his knees before four arrows took them out. Dusk looked over to see the girls charging towards the small army of pygmy's. Breeze smacked her staff across ones face and Star slashed her razor whip across another's chest.

Theodosia flew through them like a wrecking ball thanks to her invulnerability and strength she suffered no damage. Whisper, Apollo and Hitgirl opened fired on them and Mystico used her magic to obliterate them.

"Miss us?" Artemis said as she ran up to Gauntlet.

"You knew this would work didn't you?" Gauntlet grinned.

"Oh yeah!" She said taking out another alien pygmy.

Just then they started to fall back and they thought they were in the clear. That was until Reach soldiers stormed them from the ground and flying alien's cladded in green armor and armed with energy rifles took the sky.

Hitgirl and Whisper opened fired on them, but were quickly shot down by the Reach soldiers. They took cover behind the hill and were quickly surrounded.

Theodosia flew in to take them out, but she was shot down by multiple bolts from their energy cannons. She fell to the ground and was quickly restrained by the Reach soldiers until they were both struck by electric bolts.

The team looked up and cheered when they saw Surge flying on his saucer and Thanatos with his jetpack.

He quickly activated the pod missiles on his shoulders and wasted all of the Reach soldiers on the ground then took care of the flying alien guards remaining. The warriors ran out and dealt with the remaining soldiers and pygmies.

That was until Shadow and Reaper dived in and slashed away at them. They were quickly joined by their team and they all worked together to take them out. Mystico used her magic to turn the pygmy soldier's spears into poisonous snakes. They all fell and the warriors still stood triumphant.

"Is everyone okay?" Shadow asked as he ran up to Ally.

"We're fine, great work Sam." Breeze complimented.

"Ah don't worry as long as we're all together." Gauntlet said.

"Yeah, except we don't know where we are?" Artemis grunted.

"We're on a prison planet." Shadow informed. "The same place Blackfire and Sinestro were sent."

"Black Beetle too, these guys are Reach soldiers." Reaper explained.

"Guys we still don't know how to get home, shouldn't we focus on that?" Hitgirl stated.

"There is no way out." Shadow sighed. "This planet has no labs, no tech and no other means of escaping." Everyone looked at Shadow in shock. They couldn't believe it but their leader had given up.

"What the hell man, don't say that!" Reaper shouted.

"You know I don't tell lies man." Shadow said. "I'm not gonna say, 'don't worry guys we'll be fine.' No there is zero chances of us getting out of here. We lost."

"So that's it, we're just done?" Phoenix shouted.

"You brought us in and now that we hit a minor setback you're just going to sit there and tell us we lost?" Surge asked in disbelief.

"Mark, the only way off this planet is by using a boom tube. We don't have the equipment or tool or tools or brains to create one to transport us from the ass end of nowhere to Earth."

"So we find a way." Whisper suggested. "It beats giving up."

"She's right where there's a will there's a way." Gauntlet said.

Shadow was still slumped on the ground until Ally walked up to him. He looked up at her and she leaned down and whispered something in his ear. His eyes widened and his expression changed as he looked at her stomach.

"Ally." He whispered.

She smiled and helped him to his feet and looked at the rest of his team. The girls were grinning ear to ear while the boys still looked confused.

"Okay, we'll think of something but for now we got to." He was cut off when an Reach soldier's radio started to give off static.

Thanatos quickly recovered the device and synced it to its frequency.

"This is Omega team, reporting in." Thanatos said.

"What was that light that shined through the sky was it worth the effort?" Someone said on the other line. Shadow recognized it as the Reach ambassador from all those years ago.

"Yes, we've recovered some useful tech, we'll be returning soon." Thanatos said.

"Good, I'll send you the quadrants back to the safe zone." The line went dead and the team was intrigued by the new discovery.

"If the Reach ambassador is here then so is the scientist." Reaper grinned.

"And if they're gathering tech they must be working on a boom tube." Gauntlet stated as he and Dusk slapped hands.

"Guys we have to approach this delinquently." Shadow informed. "If we go storming in they will destroy it and last I checked we sent a whole fleet here when the JLA evicted them from earth."

"He's right." Ronin said in a solemn tone. "We have no help coming, no contact with anyone back home and everyone here is our enemy. We're going to have to fight our way back home."

"Then let's get going." Shadow said. "We'll get out of here and we'll go back to Earth and send Arian's ass here himself."

The team cheered and followed their leader towards their freedom.

Hopefully.
