Authors note: Hello again. I'm here again with another wonderful installment of Escape from Denerim. This chapter will include the Bagonians. I enjoyed writing this chapter because the area of Shinnchi Clain is a lot like that of Dragon Age's Origins Orzammar. That place is amazing! I like it a lot. Also, umm since I have the idea of Dragon Age, well, I don't own that game, and I just like the idea of an underworld like that of Orzammar. So please don't think that this mind has such awesome, ideas. Cause we all know my mind is really boring.

Any ways I don't own the OC's I use in this story/Game thing. They go to the awesome people who wrote them. So yeppers (:

Please check them out though. They are cool beans.

Down in the Underworld of Shinnchi Clain lives the Bagonians. A ruthless, uncaring, barbaric tribe forced to live in the Underworld. Due to the history of being very short-tempered, other tribes and clans are terrified of them. You could say that Bagonians are just as bad as the Darkspawn and the evil Spirits in Chora. Bagonians are oldest of the Tribes, being about 542 years old in history. Shinnchi Clain, the home of the Bagonians, is located deep under the Capital of Denerim. The land is shrouded in darkness and harbors scorching temperatures of 700 to 1,200 degrees C. Molten Lava and stones are the most common minerals the Bagonians utilize. Due to being underground, Shinnchi Clain also has many rich diamonds and gems. Unlike most tribes, the Bagonians use these luxuries to create rare and powerful weapons as well as armor. The most powerful weapons that a player can obtain is the Dragonstar, a giant sword made with cooled off lava, diamonds, and Darkspawn blood, this weapon has a damage rate of 125 and a speed of 95, making this a great weapon for all races.

Because of their location, Bagonians must work extra hard to fight off the demons that lurk there. The majority of the tribe fights all day and night, working hard and protecting the other Bagonians. The jobs are scarce, as the Clain only has jobs for Blacksmiths and Bar attendants. The Tribe is known for their distinct facial features, pale skin, sickly looking but very muscular. This is of course due to the fact that they work non-stop and live underground with the vicious Darkspawn.

In the far reaches of the abyss a tiny village pokes outside the crusted ground. The village is known as Markiler Trine and hosts the legendary "Rock". A giant, strong man. Legend states he was the first man to fight off a hoared of tens of thousands of Darkspawn with just his fist and a small, three inch, diamond dagger. Many state that he is a teacher for the new players, while others say he's living in the wilds of Denerim. He is also Denerims strongest. This tiny village is only populated by about twenty Bargonians. Just about all twenty of them had to fight tirelessly day in and day out against the Darkspawn demons to propel them away. Mainy of these villagers are tired of combat and wish for it to end. However, due their constant fighting many have became skilled combatants and possess legendary skills. They are the most knowledgeable warriors the Bargonians have to offer. Because of the warriors usually live down here, this place is school to the new Bagonians. They are taught to use their strength wisely and consume less agility and speed. Markiler Trine is also known as the school for the undead. The reason is because before players enter here, they are week and oblivious to the dangers of the outside world, also on how to survive, making them undead in soul and mind.

On the Western side of the baren plain, a towering city with the famous name of Homethioh, built of molten stones stands proudly. Its rocks has been forged together by the lava that has since been cooled, leaving the rocks glued together in a magnificent beauty, making those who are new to the city, stand in awe and wonder. This city is the wealthiest city of all Denerim, in which harbors every wealthy and renowned Bargonian inside its impenetrable walls. Legions of Darkspawn have tried to conquer the city only to be squashed by the mighty defense of Homethioh.
Inside Homethioh golden walkways adorned the streets, casting a golden shine across the buildings, only adding to the already perfection this city is known for. Numerous people walk the streets, chatting peacefully about the news and other various topics of discussion. They live peacefully inside the mighty walls and worry about very little. Many shops line the golden sidewalk. The shops include everything from Potion Shops, Weapons and Amour stands, Food and Drinks, and miscellaneous goods one may need for going on a long journey. Although Bagonians dislike most tribes, they will get along with just about anyone with money. Making the city of Homethioh a thriving place indeed. The streets are lively and crowded. Making the city much more crowded then the capital itself. The only downfall is because of the wealth of the city, everything is priced at 30% of its original value.

The Darkspawn are Hellish distorted figures with twisted demonic expressions that shift silently through the darkness. Their limbs sprout from their bodies in various angles carrying weapons, and severed body parts of their unlucky victims. These weapons are the product of hatred manifested into a solid form, making the weapons very powerful and dangerous. Cries and screaches can be heard when they are near, due to the trapped souls taken prisoner inside their distorted Lava of Shinnchi Clain is a bubbling, sulfur enfeuzed glob, covering the majority of the Underworld. Its presence is seen streaming across the ground consuming anything and everything that is unfortunate to cross the burning body. Screams of the tortured souls resonate throughout the desolated wastes of The Underworld, making the screams just as frightening as those suffering.

Southside of Shinnchi Clain, Markiler Trine

In the underground town south of Shinnchi Clain lies the small village of Markiler Trine. This particular village is populated by only about 20 Bagonians, and within that small population, a well known giant. A 6 foot 4 muscular man. He is known as the "Rock", athough his name is Fang. Many call him the "Rock", due to his towering size, slim-muscular built, and how many people fear him. However, he isn't as scary as some would say. Fang is a practicullary actractive young man many would recall. Fang has what many females call, the "Tall, Dark and Handsome", look.

Fang sits on a lone stone, across the small stone, school building, watching the new players practice the techniques to become successful Bagonians. He smirks as he see's a young child, dressed in rags, using a small, three inched, diamond dagger, slicing the givin practice targets. " Kids got talent. Good." he spoke quetly to himself.

As Fang watched the players achieve their own goal, Fang let his mind wonder in content.

flashback

A young high school student sits in his assigned desk, reading quietly amongst the other students. For the last 30 minutes, the teacher wants his class to study for the upcoming test.

"Hey Mr. Barkely?" A brunette student asks raising his hand." Can we pair up and reveiw in groups?" The student next to the class genius, Chris, asked. The teacher smiled and agreed. He knew why he wanted to pair up in the fist place.

"Go right ahead." The student tured to the 6 foot 4, dark haired, giant.

"Hey Chris. Wanna be my partner? I know that you're really good at dis stuff." The man complimented.

"If by 'stuff' you mean psychology, the yes Steven, I am" Chris smiled at his partner, Steven, and added, " You too, could be good at 'dis stuff'" Chris airqouted, causing Steven to pout," if you just listened and quit texting in class." As on cue, Chis saw that Steven had been texting.

"What?" Steven whined, crossing his arms "I'm just texting people the importance of not texting people." Steven pouted and smiled. Chris gave Steven a look of impatience and set his hand out. Steven reluctantly gave Chris his phone as the two studied for the last ten minutes of Psychology 101.

end of flashback

Fang smiled to himself remembering that kid and how even after all the studying those two did, he never paid attention to his helpful advise. Fang rolled his eyes and followed his gaze to the young kid dressed in rags running up to him. "Sensei! I've been practicing like you told me and I think I am the greatest." the young boy smiled and set out his fake dagger, getting reading to show his sensei what he could do. "Look, I'll be just like you." Fang watched as the kid showed off his moves. Fang noticed how the boys face had the same determination he had. The sensei smiled and put his hand on the boy, causing the boy to stop dead in his tracks.

"I like that look in your eyes. It's important to show your inner strength." Fang left after saying that seeing how the boy had been ecstatic about the compliment from the legendary "Rock".

"Thank you Sensei!" The student called out waving to his remodel.

In the cowering streets of the popular shopping district of Homethioh

A young man with the name of Red Iron, had mid-length, blood red hair and a tall size of 6 foot 3 walks around town searching inside his satchel for his last remainders of health potions. He had been running around in the caves of Markiler Trine fighting off hordes of darkspawn with his fellow Bagonians, only to have them suffer in the hands of the enemies. He had been training hard for years, being raised by the Bagonians, he had been used to fighting and hiding his pain. His father, who had been the King of Shinnchi Clain, was getting his son used to responsibility. Although he had been only 17, he had to be king. He hated it, he wanted to be free and not have to live in the Underworld anymore. The reason this young man had been perfect for the next king was his many skills in strenghth and magic. Unlike the majority of bagonians, Red Iron had a gift. A rare and powerful gift. The complete power over the elements of Fire and Lava. Bagonians had been trying out this power for ages only to have it fail, but Red Iron was special. This made him perfect for the Kings throne. Red Iron had no interest in such a role, he just wanted to be in the outside world.

Red Iron had been seen wearing his usual attire, being a light red shirt under a much darker red dress shirt. He always wore his dark red jeans and a pair of almost black boots. When he wears his leather coat its a dark burgundy color which goes down to his heels, almost like a long trench coat. on the back of this dark coat, a light red Ω is present. He always hides his eyes in a lightly tinted red pair of sunglasses, making his sharp light blue eyes look almost violet. He sports an expensive ruby encased gem in his homemade ring, placing it on his right middle finger.

Red Iron walks down the shopping district waving at the passing PLAYERS, seeing them too ignorant to see their own misery in this prison. Many like to think that Homethioh is a peaceful, rich shopping district but Red Iron knows how its all a lie to keep Bagonians from seeing the filthy lies with in the world. As the tall young man walks, he spots his friends shop "Ravens Necessities". He likes how raven, the owner, is much like him. They both had been in the game the longest of all the other PLAYERS, making them in the game for about 3 weeks, which in the game is about 17 years. He had only just recently found out about Raven's shop after about only three days of starting the game. He had told her he'd always visit her at the shop and they'd tell each other what their dreams were and about why they play the game.

Red Iron told Raven how he'd always lived in Shinnchi, making him just a dropped off unwanted character. He told her how his fear was being unable to do anything as his friends die, not doing anything to help them. Because of this fear, Red had been careful not to let anyone get close to him. He could not handle seeing people he cared for, die in his hands. Raven had been scared of going insane with the madness the game of Denerim was known for. They both wanted to be free from fear and to escape the hell hole. Red Iron had walked up too his daily shop and waited patiently looking over his friend, hoping that Raven would not ever die, that would make him be eaten within from the inner madness. The sign outside the shop was colored a red and purple board with black calligraphy, with the words "Raven's nesessities". Raven, the owner, stalks her goods. Raven's nesessities sells a large variety of gems, potions, and many weapons. Her store was simular to the others in Homethioh, however she refused to raise her prices. Raven sports a heavy armor outfit, making her seem like something the old Vikings would wear. With the armor, a metal skirt made with the rich and powerful metals, Homethioh, offers. Her favorite blue top made with the fine threads, medal shoulder cuffs and soft brown boots made from the fur of the Gingiis, a bore like creature, living deep within the Great Forest of Chora. On her wrist to keep Raven sane, one can see in beautiful calligraphy the quote, "to thine own self be true".

Raven goes through her potions, knowing darn well that Red iron would show up any second, if not right now. She heard chatting amongst themselves about the rumors of Dererim. Talking about how many PLAYERS of Denerim, are heading to the capital to escape their many duties in the clans and tribes. Raven ponders, wondering if its about time she leaves shop for a while. Thinking about a new start, maybe she could start a new adventure. As she continues to think, a cough interrupts her thoughts. Raven looks up to see a valuable costumer. She watches his sharp light blue eyes shift though the items.

"Good afternoon, Red Iron" Raven smiles to the guy.

"Afternoon." Was all the man said, politely bowing as he continued looking.

"What are you looking for today?" Raven asked as she noticed his red hair had been more messy then the usual bed head he'd always wear, 'Does this boy ever brush his hair?'

"Yeah, I need about five or so, healing potions. I'm going back down to the depths of Markiler Tine to fight some of those bastard, Darkspawn" Red iron smirks. Raven nodded in approval, laughing to herself silently, thinking how this boy was much like the legendary "Rock. As she was lost once again in her thoughts Red Iron, just waited knowing this is something to expect from the owner of Ravens Necessities.

Once Raven remembered how she was supposed to be working and getting the supplies for her valued, patient costumer, she shook her head and spoke up. "Sorry about that, so that will be 60 gold." Red Iron and Raven exchanged their items and smiled. Before Red Iron could leave, Raven had been wondering about what Red Iron had planned on doing after his Darkspawn trip.

"Red Iron!" She shouted before he could leave. The Blood Redheaded man stopped and turned to his favorite shopkeeper." I was wondering, if you ever thought about leaving Homethioh." The man smiled and responded kindly. "Yeah, if you let me. I mean I plan on going to the caves, but your talking to me, so I can't." Raven gave him a slight, friendly glare, knowing he was just playing with her.

" No I mean , like leaving the Underworld of Shinnchi Clain. Maybe getting away from here and going to the Capital. I hear it's full of beautiful shops and, great vast lands of grass." The two Bagonians had been lost in thought for a moment pondering the idea. red Iron spoke up after a few moments of thinking.

"Raven, its my dream to be away from this Hell Hole, I just want to be free. Not have to worry about weather or not I will live to see the next day. I hate it here, its nothing but darkness and misery. I have always wanted to leave, but you know the rules." Red Iron glanced at his friend and noticed her down casted eyes, feeling her pain. She nodded and answered his statement. "All of those who leave will be forced to never come back and forced to live in the land of Darkness. I know, I know, but think about it though Red." she paused and saw he had been sitting on her counter." Maybe its just what the king says to keep us prisoner in here. I mean I hear about the outside land all the time. Wouldn't it be better then living here? Think about it Red, what's there to lose? Darkspawn? Riches? But think about it, what about our happiness? I want out of here. And if that's the same with you, then you want out here. What about your dream? Don't you still want to see the land above Shinnchi Clain? Lets go and follow your dream." Red Iron and Raven had been quietly cheering as they both began very excited. Raven finally gave up, he was getting out of here, he was going to follow his dream, even if it meant he'd be disowned bye the Tribe, he no longer cared. Yeah they took him in, but he needed to be free.

"I believe I met you for a reason Red Iron, both you and I share a similar dream. I want to be free from the madness of this game, but also the madness from feeling trapped. I want to be able to help out those who need to be saved. let's leave and never look back. The sooner the better." Ravens green eyes shined in Red Irons blue ones, they were leavn gthis land behind and heading to the capital.
