So when everyone heard Sam's name they either gasped or came over to him after to ask me questions about his they asked they mostly said "hey if your dad can shift can you?" or ""hey is your dad even still alive. Jean told everybody to back away before coming over and asking "If your really his son then whose your mom?" he said. Sam knew why he was asking. but he thought that he knew. "Mikasa akermen"he said aloud. then Jean gave me a letter "it's news on your dad,OK now go to the mess hall after this is odm gear training."he said
Everyone was at the mess hall so there was nowhere to sit. so when he saw Chris waving for him to sit there he rushed down there before anyone could snag the spot, but didn't make it in time. "Ha ha you snooze you lose Yeager."said the guy in the spot. "but that was the spot i was clearly going to sit in, asshole! Sam replied but he didn't go. "well how you gonna stop me, transform into a titan and eat."he said and the whole place broke into laughter. "shut up I've got fists and i will knock your block off!" Sam said in anger. everybody went "ohhh snap" or "holy shit they're about to fight." but before the fight started April came and pulled me onto my bunk. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! she yelled "we could have all gotten in trouble and had to run laps until sunset,moron!" "well it's not my fault that guy started it" Sam said. So after that they went out to see people rummaging inside a bunch of crates. "Hey Chris what's every one doing?!"Sam yelled. "Getting they're ODM gear for training." He yelled back so they went over and saw a bunch of stuff to go with the gear like blades,blade holders, gas tanks,and all that stuff.
"Whoa i'm getting one"Sam said as he put his arms in and took it out strapped it on. then he thought about Alex and who they had gotten separated when they went to the military and we where going to see her today. he wondered what the the military did to her. A few years earlier... "oh no oh no oh no"Alex said she was being chased by a bunch of thieves that killed her father and kidnapped her mother. " "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME"she yelled "we want to take you and your mother and rape both of you"said one of the thieves "why i'm just a an 8 yr old and my mother really doesn't like being taken and raped" Alex said then jumped back and then rolled and then ran the opposite direction. she ran into her cellar and hid there until she heard foot steps passing. "dang those guys are stupid" Alex said to herself. she cut her mother out and abandoned the home then she was nice to everyone from then on until she joined the military.
"listen butt-face,from now on your gonna be called crunchy because your so dumb and short!"said the trainee captain. he was talking to Alex. She had to keep a straight face but on the inside she was upset and embarrassed. everybody was laughing and when it was the end he had embarrassed her even more by calling her crunchy when she graduated in the top ten. that's when she snapped she had went up to the trainee captain and smacked and said "YOU SON OF BITCH! MY NAME IS FRIGGIN FRIGGIN CRUNCHY,AND TO THINK THAT ON MY GRADUATION DAY YOU WOULD DROP IT AND CALL ME BY MY REGULAR NAME, BUT NOOOOO YOU JUST HAD TO GO AND SCREW THAT UP TOO! WELL HERE IS WHAT I CHOSE! I'M GOING TO JOIN THE SURVEY CORPS!"She yelled and then stormed off
So when they saw each other he went up and said hi to her. "h-Hi how's it going"Sam said but she didn't reply. "hey can you hear me it's your best friend,Sam, speaking to you."he said to her then he waved his hand in her face then she hit it hard. "Hey ow what was that for"Sam said "i'm not in the mood for it,Sam."she said to him. "you see me you turn your head,what's your problem lately. You've been a giant-"Sam said "Have you opened your eyes,Sam? The world is ending, and all you can say is how negative i'm being? look around,Sam,there are titans all over our home,and your trying to stay positive? there is no winning. you either fight or get your head bitten off by are being shoved into a corner,Sam, and we are going to stay in that corner until we die. So i can't be the happy girl,who always wants to pretend that we are outside the walls looking around in curiosity like there are no titans at all, have to fight the titans and unless you want to pretend that you humanity's last hope and bite your hand and turn into a titan and fight them like your dead dad,I suggest you start feeling the same way."she said. Sam looked really surprised then his eyes teared up then she realized she had just talked about his father like he was a piece of trash. "Sam i didn't-"she said trying to apologize. "no no i know what you meant"he said then ran off crying.
