A/N: LOL Yup, bet you weren't expecting this chapter update so quickly after the last chapter didn't you? Lol that's because after I was done writing chapter 15, I immediately wrote chapter 16 because I loved writing this so much that I didn't want to stop writing it, I was too excited to wait and write it later, that's how much I didn't want to stop writing it lol I bet you all probably felt the same as well. Anyways, sorry for this long author's note, Enjoy this chapter lovely readers! :)
"M-Mini Moon?" Luna squeaked, waking up.
After only being out cold for a short amount of time, Luna woke up and saw Mini Moon was gone. A vibe of guilt hit her inside the gut. She wished that she should of gotten there sooner.
"Why couldn't I have gotten here sooner? Oh No time for guilt tripping myself now, I have to tell the scouts and guardians that Mini Mono is gone!" So with that she managed to stand up, limping, but she wanted to stay strong, she forgot that the door was closed shut.
"Crap! Looks like I have to go the other way" Then she noticed that the window got shattered. It was caused by Mini Moon using her wand to try and attack Pitch.
"Oh, Looks like I'm in luck after all" She said with a tone of satisfaction. Luna hopped on the chair near the window, jumping out following a slight hiss from her due to the minor injury she had on the side of her back.
Meanwhile, Things weren't going so well for our heroes. No matter how many nightmares they have destroyed, they just kept on coming back.
"There's too many of them!" exclaimed Venus.
"Sailor Moon!" North called her, slashing one of the nightmares in half, killing it. Sailor Moon turned her head towards North, getting her attention.
"Yeah?!" She answered after running from one of the nightmares.
"Since you are leader, do you have any ideas?" He asked.
"Say what?" She said with an I-Can't-Believe-what-he-just-asked-me look on her face. Did she hear correctly? Someone just asked her for an idea, which was a weird yet great moment for Moon. She felt like a sophisticated leader now and that was a fact. "You're... Asking ME?" She pointed at herself with a raised eyebrow.
North dodged another nightmare. "Of course! You are leader, are you not?!"
Moon nodded slowly.
"THEN DO SOMETHING!" Another nightmare charged into North, ending their conversation. Moon flinched after that happened. She furrowed her eyebrows in a bold manner; she dodged another nightmare with a staid and serious expression on her face.
"Need help Moonie?" Asked Jack, smirking.
Moon smirked back, "NO! I can handle these things by myself, Frost!" Just then, a nightmare jumped in the air, ready to attack her, she yelled and flinched, but luckily, Jack froze the nightmare, saving Sailor Moon.
"Seems like you actually do" He said.
Sailor Moon growled irritably, "Oh shut up Frost!" The next thing that they knew, they were surrounded by nightmares.
One of the nightmares charged at Venus, causing her to hit the pole and fall on the ground.
"VENUS!" Tooth cried, fluttering over to her quickly. "Are you alright?" She asked, worried.
"Y-Yeah, I- I Think so" She replied, struggling to get up. Out of nowhere, a nightmare charged into Tooth.
Venus got up and was able to continue fighting, "VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!" She shouted as she hit one of the nightmares.
"SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!" Mercury shouted, destroying one of the nightmares, along with Sandy, Who was using his golden sand as weapons, including a giant golden sandy mallet. And to think they were doing great, more nightmares surrounded the two.
Mars and Bunnymund were making a great team as well but they weren't doing any great right now. "Um Mars? I think it's just me but I think these things got stronger than the last time we fought them!"
"Seems like it" responded Mars, trying to get up after being knocked down by one of the nightmares. Bunny handed her his paw, trying to help her up.
"You alright?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm alright" Mars replied.
And As for Jupiter and North, let's just say they aren't doing great either. "JUPITER THUNDER-" Her attack was stopped by a nightmare charging into her back, causing her to almost fell but land on her feet, but she crouched down on her knee in slightly pain.
Meanwhile, Moon and Frost weren't in so much good luck. Moon fell on her butt after being knocked down by one of the nightmares.
"Sailor Moon! Are you alright?" He asked worriedly, freezing one of them who knocked her down on the ground.
"Yeah" She replied, rubbing her buttocks to soothe the pain. Jack helped her up. She done had enough with these stupid nightmares, so she finally thought of something that she should of done a many moons ago (no pun intended),
"HEY YOU! NIGHTMARES!" She pointed at them, getting theirs and the scouts plus guardians' attention.
"Yeah! I'm talking to you; you you're going to wish to you never came here and messed with the wrong people!"
Jack looked at her in surprise, he's never seen her look so…. stern, so serious, and so bold. And even though she wasn't in general, He had to admit that she looked kind of cute when she's like that, but he didn't want to admit it.
She bought out her Purity chalice, "MOON CRISIS POWER!" she shouted. She started to glow, and after a few seconds, her sailor outfit changed into a more updated form much to the surprise of the guardians, the bright light almost blinded them.
Then finally, she brought out her Spiral Heart Moon Scepter. "RAINBOW MOON HEEEART… ACHE!" She shouted. She spun in a graceful manner at a rapid rate, When she stopped held her Spiral Heart Moon Scepter into the air, the energy released in the form of spiraling pink hearts, which coalesced into a large pink heart and smashed into the all of the nightmares, destroying every single one of the them.
The guardians looked at her surprised. They have never seen an attack so powerful enough to destroy all nightmares at the same time.
"I can't believe what I just saw" said Tooth surprised.
"Yeah" Agreed Jack, surprised as well. "Geez, Talk about Moon power. I never knew she was that powerful. I guess I underestimated her"
"Woah" That was all Bunny could say.
"Exactly Bunny, Exactly" said North.
Sailor Moon began to feel weak, her super Sailor Moon form was wore her out of her energy. Her knees started to tremble; she fell on them, her super sailor moon outfit faded away back to her regular scout outfit.
"SAILOR MOON!" everyone shouted worriedly. Jack caught her time just as she was getting ready to fall on the ground. Everyone ran over to her.
"Sailor Moon!" cried Jack. "Are you alright? That was just... amazing!" he praised her.
"Yeah, thanks Jack" she responded in a weary tone. "It really wore me out though" She looked around and saw everyone but Mini Moon was present; this caused her to become extremely worried and scared at the same time.
"Hey! Where's Mini moon?!" she exclaimed, looking around.
Jack and the others realized that Mini Moon was nowhere to found either, feeling just as worried and as scared as her. "What?! She gone?! But I thought she was- Oh No! MINI MOON! RINI!" Jack tried to call to her. The other scouts and guardians looked around to see if she was right beside them but she wasn't there.
"Oh my god! But where could she-" Moon was interrupted by a groaning and somewhat injured Luna whom was limping out of the alley of the abandoned house. Everyone turned to the black cat's attention.
She gasped, "LUNA!" running to her and holding her.
Artemis asked worriedly; lick her on her right cheek. "Luna! Are you okay?"
"Don't worry about me, I'll be okay" She said, trying to clear her voice.
"What happened?" asked North.
"I tried to save... Mini Moon but I was too late" she explained, trying to take her time talking.
"Who? Pitch got her?! But? how?" exclaimed Jack unbelievably.
Luna nodded. Everyone gasped. "He had her all tied up and I tried to rescue her myself but, he knocked me out but I was only out cold for a little while.
Jack's knuckles turned white in anger as he immediately mad.
Sailor Moon furrowed her eyebrows, "Oh no! You mean she's-"
"WITH ME!" A smooth seductive voice interrupted her. Everyone turned around and looked up. It was him, sitting on his nightmare, smiling evilly.
"PITCH!" Yelled Jack. "We know you have her!"
The nightmare king pretended he didn't know what he was talking about but he did.
"Have who? Oh you mean this little urchin?!" He revealed to have a tied up Mini Moon, sitting on one of the nightmares. Jack, Moon and the others looked in shock as Mini Moon tried to struggle with a scared look in her red eyes.
Oh Jack was angry, more than that! He was FREAKING enraged!
"OH NO!" Exclaimed Tooth.
"MINI MOON!" Artemis also exclaimed.
"PITCH! GIVE HER BACK RIGHT NOW!" Demanded Sailor Moon.
Pitch laughed. "Or WHAT?! You're going to accidentally trip me?!" He mocked her.
Sailor Moon glared at him irritably, tightening up her fists Jack aimed his staff up at him, getting ready to attack him, "THAT'S IT PITCH! You've gone too far this time!" but the nightmare that was Mini Moon was sitting on got in his way, using her as a shield so nobody could attack him.
Jack slowly put his staff down (but not drop it) and his eyes met with Mini Moon's scared eyes.
"Jack! Help me!" she muffled through her covered up mouth.
"GIVE HER BACK!" Sailor Moon shouted angrily. She proceeded to charge into him but one of the nightmares got in the way and head-butted the scout, causing her to sending her flying straight into North, catching her.
"SAILOR MOON" Mini Moon screamed in muffles.
Jack gritted his teeth and glared at Pitch, gripping his staff tightly in anger.
Pitch tsked them in a mocking way, "Poor pathetic girl, haven't someone ever taught you to don't get in the way?" Then he noticed Frost's angry expression, He could tell that he was getting ready to strike him.
"Oh be careful Frost" he said in a slight singing tone. "You wouldn't want to accidentally turn your precious Mini Moon into an ice sculpture now wouldn't you? And that's goes for all you nettlesome goody goodies who even try to attack me! Because if you do, there will be terrible consequences for this little brat and it will haunt you for the rest of your life! You hear me?!"
Mini Moon screamed in muffles again.
Moon and Frost growled under neither their breaths. Pitch chuckled, he knew that there was nothing that they could do to stop him, and that's what was what made him felt even more stronger and even more victorious. The guardians wanted to do something but they didn't want Pitch hurting Mini Moon.
Bunnymund was angry as well as everyone else, "Pitch! Ya grimy bounce! Wait till we catch ya and kick your-"
"Ah, Ah, Ah! Rabbit! Language!" Pitch mocked him in singing tone. Then he laughed, "There's nothing you can do now to stop me!"
Jack and Sailor Moon really felt like crap now, they promised Rini that they were going to protect her no matter what, but now that Pitch has her, they felt like they have broken their promise and not to just her but to themselves.
"We will save Mini Moon and stop defeat you Pitch!" said Sailor Moon in a serious tone. "Even if you might make this even more difficult than you already did!"
Pitch chuckled at her. "I like to see you try, Moon! And that goes for all of you! Well, I've love to stay and chat some more but..." After that he didn't really say anything, Right before they could blink he zoomed off into the air sonic speed.
"MINI MOON!" Everyone shouted but Sailor Moon and Jack shouted louder. He went so fast that none of them couldn't get him. They tried to but they couldn't.
"No" said Jack, he fell on his knees and looked up at the sky that he disappeared in, he had a disappointed look on his face. "Rini"
Sailor Moon's eyes began to shed tears slowly in her eyes, she and Jack felt like failures, low failures. The girl that they promised to protect is gone... and even though they knew they were going to get her back somehow, still, they felt like they have let something very special to them be taken right out of their hands. The guardians and scouts felt the same thing as well but not as much as Moon and Jack.
A/N: Aww man! Poor Jack and Sailor Moon :( and poor Mini Moon as well, but don't worry your pretty little minds, They will save her :D You'll see! But things that are going happen later in the story when they are going to Pitch's lair is not something you will see coming ;) HAHA!
