The feeling of capability stung inside of Frost and Moon. If they had noticed that Mini Moon was gone out of their sight during the fight, if they had known that she wasn't with them the whole time, none of this would of happened. The guardians and scouts blamed themselves for it too, but Jack and Sailor Moon felt like this whole thing was their fault. Completely.
For a while, they just sat on the street sidewalk moping about it. Moon had her face buried in her knees and Jack had his hoodie over his head.
"Look, Ya two can't just sit around and mope about it" Said Bunnymund.
"Yeah, I Mean, It wasn't your fault" said Mars. "I Mean-"
"MARS!" Sailor Moon snapped at her. "We promised her we would protect her! We promised we wouldn't let anything happen to her! And what did we do?! NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!"
Mars stayed silent and looked at her sympathetically, along with the other scouts and the guardians.
Moon puffed heavily, frustrated, obviously showing her stress about this whole thing.
"Jack, it wasn't your fault, we all tried to protect her, not just you and Sailor Moon" Said Tooth comfortably. Sandy put his hand on Jack's shoulder in reassurance.
"Tooth, we promised her sincerely that everything will be okay but now..." He sighed hard and pushed back his snow white hair.
"Look guys, There's still hope to save her" said Venus, comforting her by putting her hand on her shoulder.
Both Moon and Jack looked up at her.
"Venus, I don't know what he is going to do to her! He could turn her against us or something"
Sailor Moon had an anxious and fearful look in her eyes. "And I really hope he doesn't do that because I've been through that already and I don't want to go through it again" She again sighed in a frustrated manner.
Jack clenched his fists after hearing that statement, He couldn't imagine Pitch trying to turn one of his very close and best friends, it would just pain the winter spirit deeply, and Make him hate Pitch even more than ever, and anything else than he has ever hated anyone else or anything.
Then he remembered the snowflake necklace that Rini have given to him couple years ago on Christmas day. He got it from out of his hoodie, looking at it. Every time he looked at it, he would think of her.
It shimmed around the edges of the snowflake in the light of the moon. He suddenly felt something inside or him, it was a feeling of... aspiration, hope, perseverance. He gripped softly.
"Hey isn't that the necklace that she gave you?" Asked Sailor Moon.
"Yes" Then he suddenly got up, full of determination. "And we have to save her! And I KNOW that will get her back!" He looked up at the moon.
Sailor Moon followed behind him, touching his shoulder.
"Jack, how do we know that he won't just try and kill us-"
"HE WON'T! I'll make sure that he won't. And I Think I know why he did this"
"Which is?" said Mars.
"I think he did this as revenge because he knows how much Rini means so much to me and you. And By kidnapping her and taking her away from us, he knew that would get to me, and guess what? It worked."
"But Now, How do we get her back?" asked Mars, concerned. "We don't even know where his hideout is"
"Um, weren't you the one that had the vision?" Asked Sailor Moon, confused.
"Yes I did. I only got a vision of what the place looked like, but not where the place was"
"I know where it is!" Jack immediately said. "It's in the forest of Burgess, My hometown"
"Okay? So how do we get there-" Sailor Moon slapped her forehead, dumbfounded.
"What?" Asked Jack, smirking.
"I'm so forgetful! We use Sailor teleport!"
The five guardians looked at her confused. "Come again?" asked Jack confused. "Did you say-"
"Teleport, Frost! I Forgot we do that" Sailor Moon chuckled and rubbed her neck, embarrassingly.
"Wow, You scouts can do anythin' ? huh?" Bunny remarked, smirking.
"Yup!" exclaimed Venus proudly.
"I knew you weren't going to give up!" North said joyfully.
"Who said we were?" replied Moon, slightly smiling.
"Well what are we waiting for?" said Bunnymund. "Let's go kick boogeyman buttocks and save the little ankle biter!"
"YEAH!" cheered both the teams.
Sailor Moon and Jack looked up at the sky, and Jack was looking up at the moon. "Don't worry Rini, We'll save you and get you back safe and sound, we promise" She whispered.
"Please Manny, Let us get Rini back and hope nothing goes wrong more than it already did" Jack also whispered.
And after a while, the guardians jumped in North's sleigh, getting ready to go to the forest. "Hey Moonie, You scared?" teased Jack, smirking.
"HA! No way Frost!" Moon teased back, "Why are you?"
"HA! Yeah Right!" he shot back, smirking proudly.
"Um? Sailor Moon?" Jupiter tapped her on her shoulder to get her attention. "I Think we should go now"
Sailor Moon blushed in embarrassment and chuckled. "Oh right! hehe"
"We'll meet you in the forest, and trust me, we will be there" said Venus in a serious tone.
"Great! We'll see you there" replied Tooth.
"Good luck scouts and guardians" said Luna.
"And be careful" said Artemis. "We'll be waiting"
The scouts and guardians nodded their yes. "Don't ya worry, we'll be okay" said Bunnymund.
"Definitely" agreed Mars.
And so with that, the five guardians flew off in sleigh and into the sky, on their way to the forest in Burgess.
The scouts stood in a circle and joined hands together; they closed their eyes, the aura of their signature color started to glow. "Sailooor telepooort!" they shouted. Before they knew, they were gone, leaving the cats behind.
"Let's just hope that everything will work out fine" Luna said in a worried tone.
"No, not hope. We know it will" Artemis smiled, feeling faith in the scouts and the guardians.
"Don't worry Rini, we are coming to save you! We promise, And this time, No matter what happens to us, No matter what Pitch might do to kill us, We will fight to save you"
These thoughts were running in Jack and Sailor Moon's heads. They may have broken the first promise, now they were completely going to make sure that they don't break this one. Period.
