A/N: Please forgive me If I got the description of the Man In Moon's place wrong, I didn't read the guardians of childhood but I hope you all enjoy it anyway! :) you might get a little bit confused but I have it all covered. Enjoy lovely readers! :D

She couldn't believe it. She didn't want to believe it. But it was all true.

She took a step back further as Pitch was on the ground, sobbing. His whole world have crumbled down upon him. He looked into a small puddle on the ground that was leaking from the rooftop. What he saw disgusted him, he was no longer Kozmotis Pitchner (his human name), nor that hero that everyone in the town knew and loved. He was now known as 'the Boogeyman'.

"NOOOOO!" He screamed up to the heavens as he sobbed while the flock of fearlings laughed at his grief and hurt.

Mini Moon couldn't help but get all teary eyed at this. She took back all the negative opinions she had about him. She now understands why he is the way he is and she couldn't help but try to go over and try to talk to him. At this rate, she didn't care if he wasn't going to see her, she just wanted to try to help him.

She rushed over to his side and looked into his eyes and said, "Pitch! Listen to-"

But before she could finish, she gasped as he ran right through her as she expected. She didn't know where he was going but she was eager to find out.

"Hey Wait!" She called for him, knowing that he won't hear her.

But as soon as she was going to follow him, the whole scene changed but this time, she wasn't in the past anymore. She was at another strange, unfamiliar place. It didn't really make any sense to her until she looked up into the sky and realized she was in Outer Space, she could tell because the planet Earth was far away or at least, she thinks it's Earth.

"Woah! Where am I?" She wondered.

"Why, you're on the moon, young lady" Said a male voice from above her. She looked up and saw a strange short man with a yellow suit with black and white shoes. He was bald but had one strand of blonde hair sitting on top of his head. He smiled down calmly at her much to her confusion.

"W-who are you?" She asked. He chuckled and flew down on the ground in front of her, his height was up to her shoulder.

"I Am the Man in Moon" He replied, bowing his greeting.

She just stared down and looked at him confused. He chuckled.

"Yes, I'm not what you expected, eh? Man living on the moon?"

Mini Moon was confused by this because she remembered when her mother told her that Moon Kingdom was destroyed a long time ago.

"But… The Moon Kingdom was destroyed a long time ago, How did-"

"That is not important. What's important is that you are wondering why you saw what you just saw"

"But wait! I have one more question! Have you ever met my Grandmother, Queen Serenity?"

He smiled and replied, "Yes I have, and she was a very wonderful woman. We were quite good friends"

"Really? That's cool!" She said impressed. She lifted up the tips of her pink skirt on her left and right side and began to do a courtesy to him like the princess she is.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is-"

He held his hand up to her, cutting her off. She just blinked.

He smiled and chuckled at her, "I know who you are, and you do not need to tell me"

She stood back up to her normal position, confused. "But... how-"

"Like, I said a few minutes ago, not important" He immediately cut her off.

She raised an eyebrow. "So, you are the Man in Moon? I never thought you were real until Jack told me all about you"

"Has he?" Man in Moon asked with a raised brow.

"Yes he has. So you were the one sending Rei those visions?"

He nodded.

"And... You were the one who sent me to the old days when Pitch... Before he..."

He nodded again. Mini Moon was getting really confused by this. Why would he tell everyone that she was in trouble, have the scouts and guardians team up and try to save her, end up getting captured by Pitch in the end, and then sent her back to his past? It didn't really make any sense to her at all.

"Alright, now I'm confused. Why all this happen? Why would call the- and then- oh! My head hurts!" She held her head, feeling like her brain was about to explode from all of this.

"Please let me explain. Yes, I did send Mars those visions. Yes, I called them all together to protect you. However, the reason why I sent you back is because I want you to see that not everyone was born bad. Pitch is an example. And you, Mini Moon Aka Rini, have quite something in common with him."

Now, she thought he was talking crazy. How could she relate to someone like him?

"Huh? I don't know what you are talking about"

"Oh but I think you do. You both feel like what it's like to be... Lonely"

She hung her head down, she definitely knew that feeling and trust me, and it was crappy feeling to be inside.

"W-well, yeah but... Oh who am I kidding? You're right! We both know what it's like to be lonely!"

"And not just that, you both know what it's like to long for a family" Man in Moon added.

"But... My parents have a lot of time for me!" She pouted, crossing her arms and turning the other way. "They just….." Mini Moon couldn't finished, not knowing what else to say after that.

"Are you sure about that, dearie?" He asked, knowing that she is in denial and is just lying to cover up her pain.

She sighed, snapping out of her denial. "Look, it's not that they don't love me or anything, it's just that they're just busy, okay?"

He nodded understandably, "Ah, I see"

"Yeah, So... Do you think should try to befriend..."

Man in Moon nodded in a yes.

"But what if he doesn't... and what about the others?"

He patted her on the back. "You will see, Mini Moon. But now, it is time for you to go back and do what you know you have to do"

"Wait! I have another question before you send me back!"

He smiled at her. "Yes sweetheart?"

"Whatever happened to Pitch's wife and his daughter? I... I'm just wondering" she asked nervously, feeling her heart beat fast.

"Very well, I will tell you but it will be very sad for you to hear"

"Oh trust me, I've been there"

"Alright, Pitch's wife has been killed by creatures called the dream pirates" he explained.

She gasped and covered her mouth, getting teary eyed. She couldn't imagine how Pitch must be feeling about losing the love of his life, she may not know what that kind of love is but she can imagine how it hurt him.

"And what happened to Emily Jane?" She asked.

"She is now Mother Nature. And she wants nothing to do with him"

A tear began to roll down her cheek. "Oh, Poor Pitch. He lost everything" she sobbed.

"I know dear" He said sadly. "Now, you know"

Man in Moon wiped it away with his thumb, looking at her sympathetically. "Mini Moon, It's time for you to go back. And you know what you must do.

She nodded and wiped away more tears with her arm. She slightly smiled a little, believing that things will be alright once she will try to connect with Pitch.

Manny started to part away from the little princess, floating above her.

As the whole scene was about to slowly disappear around her, she wanted to say one last word to him. "It was nice finally meeting you! I hope we get to see each other again one day!" She waved and smiled.

He waved back, smiling back at her. "It was pleasure finally meeting you as well but now, you must be going... small lady"

As his voice faded away, the last thing she saw were a cloud of colorful balloons hovering over her until it finally faded to black.

Her eyes flew open and they were met with a metal cage and a wet, damp lair.

A/N: well, wasn't that interesting. I had to do a lot of thinking and editing on this chapter lol you know what they say. Hard work pays off :) anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and the conversation between Mini Moon & Manny lol I Tried my best though.
