512 Harrys POV

The sound of Toms laughter filled the house, and filled the house for days. He showed such a huge improvement when he was taking two pills instead of the one, he seemed happier for start off. The talking to himself mostly stopped, he smiled, he laughed, he was like he was before he went wandering through the woods. I know that doesn't seem like a massive improvement, but to us, it was. Just to see Tom smile was perfect, to see him eating was just...words could not describe what it was like to see him eating full meals. Danny was over the moon, the guilt of talking about sending Tom away seemed to lift from him every single time Tom laughed. I could tell it was still wandering in Dannys mind, but he looked so happy as he tickled and blew raspberries onto Tom, making him almost scream in laughter.

Tom was currently crying with laughter, laying on the floor, his tshirt riding half way up his chest, Dannys hands dancing over his pale, bony chest. Me and Dougie were sitting on the sidelines today, just watching the boys laughing and being happy in general, they're eyes shining. Dannys hands slowed when Tom turned bright red from lack of air, resting his hand gently on Toms hip, his bare hip. If that wasn't a sign of something I don't know what was, because a few days ago, that wouldn't have happened. Tom was having a hard time with having his bare skin touched, but at the moment, I don't think he cared as he calmed down from his laughter.

For the first time in weeks, Tom looked relaxed and happy, and it was defiantly because of his medication. The happiness went in cycles, Tom perked up for about an hour and a half, and then you could tell that his latest dose was wearing off, because he tensed up and got angsty again. At the moment, he was at the height of his cycle, carefree and happy like he should have been. It wasn't going to last long, but, at least for now Tom was fine and happy.

And, like I predicted, Tom dropped about an hour later, luckily, he just seemed to get sleepy, agitated around the edges, but sleepy. "are we going to give him more medication or let him sleep?" Dougie whispered, glancing between me and the couple on the floor. Now it seemed that Tom had decided that Dannys stomach was a good pillow to lean on. Dannys hand was running through Toms hair, twisting it through his fingers as he gave him the cutest love filled look that I had ever seen. He was also making comforting sounds, gently trying to relax Toms body, though that didn't seem to work, relaxing only happened when there was warmth wrapped around him.

Tom managed to still doze off, like he normally did around this time. Tom liked to have a mid-day nap, when his medication wore off the second or third time. It was a good thing for all of us, because it was all of our 'down time' during the day, where we all didn't need to worry about Tom, because he was asleep, away from all the dangers, apart from nightmares, which didn't happen that often anymore.

513 Dougies POV

Tom was quiet for a few minutes, before he started twitching again, whimpering quietly, saying words I couldn't understand. "shh Tommy, shh. Its alright." Danny wriggled round to hold Tom close, whispering quietly in his ear. "no, no!" Tom cried, whimpering into the floor. "wake up Tommy, wake up. Its a dream, wake up!" Danny whispered, kissing Toms neck and shoulder. I pulled Harry over and dropped in front of Tom, grabbing hold of his hand, wanting to do something to help. "shhh Tom, shh, its okay. We're here, don't worry." Harry rubbed Toms arm.

"I'm not, I'm not...stop it! Stop it no!" Tom cried, kicking his legs out, whimpering loudly. "Tommy, wake up, you're having a nightmare, wake up!" Danny shook Tom until he scrambled upright, bursting into tears. "aw no, baby shhh, don't cry! Please don't cry!" Danny used a slight jokey tone, hugging Tom tight, starting up the rocking motion that Tom liked at the moment. Obviously, he was trying to make Tom feel better, but Tom just cried harder, pulling on his hair. "stop it, please stop it!" Tom sobbed, practically pleading. "aw baby, its okay. What do you want to stop? We can stop it for you." Danny kissed Toms hair gently, wiping the tears away from his face.

"stop! Stop! Just stop!" Toms tears got even worse, his hands pushing at his ears, like he was blocking sounds out. "stop what? We can't help unless you tell us." I asked, pulling Toms hands away, watching him start to scratch his arms before Danny grabbed them to stop him. "not weird, not stupid, no! Stop talking!" Tom shook his head, scrunching up his face like that would stop whatever he was thinking. "huh? You're not weird Tommy. Or stupid, who said that? Whose talking to you?" Danny pulled Toms face to look at him, trying to look right in his eyes, though Tom couldn't look at him. Tom didn't answer, just cried and scratched at his arm, he looked so helpless.

"Tommy, who told you that you're stupid and weird? Who told you? They're lying baby, you're very intelligent and you're perfect too. Whose lying to you?" Danny looked so worried, squeezing Toms hands, like he was trying to show him that he was there. "whose saying these things Tom? We'll make them go away." Harry whispered gently, holding onto my side at the same time, soft and reassuring as always. "stop, just shut up please!" Tom suddenly writhed out of our arms and ran off, thundering up the stairs. We ran off after him, running up the stairs, running into Carries bedroom after him.

Tom was in a crumpled mess on the floor, crying uselessly into the floor. "stop, stop it please." Tom whimpered over and over again, looking up at us when we came over, giving us such a pleading look, it broke my heart. "stop what? What do you want to be stopped Tommy?" Danny bent down to Toms height, stroking his hair. But Tom didn't answer, just burst into more tears, saying that he couldn't say.
