Alison White becomes an Auror and her first mission is to track down Draco Malfoy, who has run away into hiding in the muggle world trying to escape Azkaban. No one wants a Death Eater on the lose, but Alison doesn't believe Draco to be guilty. She tries to get to him by befriending him, offering help. Draco is hesitant, but accepts the offer and they start working together.

2. Prologue

Safe - Prologue

Alison waited in front of the office for her boss to call her. Today she will be given her first mission as of becoming an Auror. She was excited but scared at the same time. What will I have to do? She wondered. What if I fail? She hoped it was nothing hard but something adventurous too.

Her hands started to moist and she nervously rubbed them off her robes. She took a deep breath in and just then she heard a faint 'come in' from the door she was waiting at. She stood up and walked in. She was disappointed to see someone else behind the desk. She did not recognize the small man but sat down anyway. He gave her a small, grey folder.

She scanned the files hastily and saw a familiar name. Draco Malfoy. She remembered him from her time at Hogwarts.

"We believe he is somewhere among the muggles." The man's surprisingly deep voice said. "He goes under the name 'Tom Felton'."

Alison looked at the picture of Malfoy that was attached to the file. She noticed that the young man had darker hair and didn't seem as pale as he used to be. She had to admit that he did look quite good.

"And where exactly does he hide?" Alison questioned.

"That we do not know, but he was last sighted in Germany. Tomorrow we shall contact you with further information"

"Alright." She said with a sigh and left the room.

When Alison Apparated back home from the Ministry she was exhausted and decided to take an early sleep in. Tomorrow she shall begin her mission.
