Battle of the Captains

4 weeks later

July 12, 2013

The weeks were running by fairly fast. Everyone was training hard trying to prove their worth to stay in the tournament and waiting in anticipation for the next reveal and if it will be a veteran or a newcomer. But when people weren't training, they might have been working with Master Hand and Crazy Hand to talk about changing up their moveset or enforcing discipline. Guess who I'm talking about when I say enforcing discipline. But people would see specific veteran fighters who were confirmed walk into the Hands' office like Pit and Bowser. Some gossipers spread a bunch of rumors on what was being talked about in there and saying what new OP moves were being brought in to replace the old ones. Luckily most everyone would either disregard them or not believe what they say.

Besides that people would hang out and do recreational activities. And what was the most popular activity so far? Swimming? Sports? Nope. It was yoga. That's right. After the cafeteria incident Master Hand gave Wii Fit Trainer the approval to start up a yoga session which would take place twice a week in the fitness room for an hour. And the best part about it was most everyone went almost everytime. I bet you can guess who didn't. People showed their support for her by being supported by her.

But right now Fox and Wolf currently on a battlefield as a war was taking place and Fox and Wolf were brawling in the middle of all the chaos. They've been at this for nearly an hour straight with nothing but physical assaults. No guns, no special attacks; nothing but their bodies and their reflexes to dodge both each other and the war ensuing around them.

Fox sidestepped a slash from Wolf's claws. "Give it up Wolf…" Fox said before throwing a swift punch to Wolf's face but was blocked by the clawed hand. "…You know you're getting too old for this." Fox was looking beat and with small claw marks and bruising from the hits he took.

Wolf on the other hand wasn't scratched as badly since Fox didn't have razor claws like him but did take a few fingernail scratches and was about equally bruised as Fox. Maybe more. Wolf may be more powerful but Fox was definitely faster.

Wolf smirked as he held Fox's fist. "Really?" Using his free hand, he grabbed Fox's upper arm and twisted it around Fox's back. Fox yelped in pain and tried to break free but before he could even try Wolf had already pushed him forward a bit then spun in a circle with his foot dragging along the destroyed ground to trip the fox up.

A bang resounded and their ears turned to attention. Fox assumed it was when his head made contact to the ground but Wolf heard correctly as he saw a faraway tank fire a shot. Wolf quickly rolled to the side as the blast hit where he was crouched down, creating a crater in the already wrecked earth. He then got back up in his crouched position and faced Fox who was trying to get up. Guess all the fatigue was getting to him and that knock against the head left him vulnerable.

Wolf took this opportunity and pounced with an ear-piercing howl. Fox saw Wolf leap at him but before he could react in time Wolf's foot dug into his chest pinning him. Wolf quickly raised his paw and thrusted down to Fox's face. Fox closed his eyes as Wolf's claws were just a mere inch from his face.

After a few seconds of gut-retching silence Fox peeked one eye open to see the smoke, the battle, and everything around him frozen. He opened his eyes fully as Wolf crouched down moving his outstretched paw to the side and put his face next to said paw. "Old man wins, Junior." Wolf mocked with a grin plastered and the simulation ended. Everything began disappearing as Wolf offered his hand to Fox which he obviously took. The lupine easily pulled him up as everything had disappeared and they stood in the giant blue grid room.

"Very well fought Master Wolf and Master Fox." An English voice resonated throughout the room.

"Thanks Maxwell." Fox called out in no particular direction as the two dusted themselves off. Maxwell was the AI system for the training room. Kinda like the Jarvis of Iron Man. Also the difference between the training and fitness rooms are that the fitness room has the normal work out equipment you find in regular gyms, such as treadmills, weights, sandbags, more specifically the Super Smash Bros. sandbag, and all that. But the training room is more sophisticated with the built in AI system that would bring up simulations and do what the fighters request to work on specific attributes or to work on a technique or combo that the fitness room couldn't help provide the necessary training for.

"How long did this one take?" Wolf asked Maxwell looking up.

"Your fight from beginning to the end of Master Fox took fifty-four minutes, thirty-one seconds, and eighty-three milliseconds. A new record. Congratulations sirs." Maxwell replied, as monotone as ever.

"Wow. That lasted longer than I thought." Fox laughed.

"Yeah well I was hoping it would've gone longer. We still haven't reached the hour mark yet. Too bad you screwed us over… again." Wolf said simply as he began walking towards the door.

Fox scowled and quickly punched Wolf's bruised shoulder. "Ow! Hey easy there. Maxwell may be able to prevent us from serious and fatal injuries but that doesn't mean we still can't feel the smaller ones. After all it works the same way that the tournament fights do." Wolf explained as if Fox was new to the tournament.

Fox glared as they kept walking. "I know how it works. Remember Master and Crazy used our technology to build this in the first place thanks to Slippy. Though it's gotten better through the all the tournaments so far. This is the best Maxwell has ever functioned." Fox lectured Wolf as payback for explaining something the other already knew which earned him the same glare he gave Wolf.

"I appreciate the compliment." Maxwell thanked as a frame appeared from the ground and a small light took up the inside. Fox and Wolf walked through and all their scratches and bruises were gone. This little healing device helped fighters heal any small wounds but it wasn't strong enough for anything worse than simple injuries. But then again it wasn't necessary to have it be any stronger as Wolf already mentioned why more serious injuries are nothing to be worried about during training or tournament bouts.

On the other side of the frame came two mechanical arms with rung-out hand towels. The two each took one and rubbed the damp towels in their faces. Hey the frame was used for healing not for taking care of people's personal hygiene. The sweat from their faces was replaced by the cool, refreshing water the towels provided. "Thanks again Maxwell." Wolf called up.

"My pleasure sir. Shall I retrieve your towels?" Maxwell asked as a mechanical hand popped out and held out for the towels.

"No thanks Maxwell. We'll hold onto them for a bit." Fox said as he draped his over his neck with his hands gripping each end.

"Very well. Enjoy yourselves today." Maxwell said as he bid them farewell.

"You too." Fox called out as he closed the door behind them. Maxwell then powered down the training room once they were gone.

Fox and Wolf began walking down the hallway, side by side. "Whew. I'm pretty beat. So what are your plans for the rest of today?" Fox asked.

"I think I'm gonna take a nap. Even though I whooped your butt I'm still feeling fatigued." Wolf said wiping his forehead before flinging his towel over his right shoulder. "You?"

"Well I'm gonna get going to Wii Fit Trainer's next yoga session a bit later today. Then I got challenged to a soccer match with Pit, Falco, and some of the other guys. Then Zelda wants to meet in the library and talk about something though I don't know on what. She didn't tell me exactly; just sounded like she wanted to catch up or something like that. But right now I feel like taking a walk around the mansion for a bit and have a nice conversation with one of my best friends." Fox told Wolf as if this was normal which in Fox's case it was.

Wolf looked to the vulpine in bewilderment. "I only know of what I'm doing next yet you already have your day entirely planned out? And I'm also guessing you didn't make most of them yourself."

Fox smirked with a quick shrug of his shoulders. "Maybe."

Wolf's eyes rolled as he shook his head. "Well there goes Mr. Popular again. Making sure everyone get a piece of him every day."

Fox didn't like the sound of that comment. "Well I'm sorry. I don't try to throw myself in the spotlight so I can outshine everyone else." Fox grumbled, upset as they turned into the commons.

Wolf cringed as he realized how Fox took it. "Oh no that's not how I meant it. I meant that because of who you are, you're the most popular Smasher here. Which means everyone wants to interact with you. Well most everyone." Wolf said as he saw Ganondorf enter the mansion from outside.

Fox sighed. "Well next time choose your words better." The two kept walking until Ganondorf walked past them and bumped through the two of them. They both glared. "Walk much." Wolf growled.

"Why yes I do. I always walk over those who could never match me. Especially the filthy mutts who betray their master." Ganondorf said with a chuckle as he continued walking.

Wolf knew what he meant and balled up his fist and was about to go after him. But before he could pursue him Fox grabbed him and turned him around, resuming to walk in their original direction. "Calm down big guy. Don't let him get to you." Fox said as he kept a hold on Wolf to make sure he wouldn't do anything rash.

"He still thinks I'm his mindless dog. I certainly hope we don't find anyone that is categorized as evil to join the tournament. The last thing we want is more support in Ganon's entourage." Wolf growled.

"Wolf, it won't matter because even if he did there will still be enough heroes, both veteran and newcomer, to make sure they stay in line." Fox said trying to calm the wolf.

"Yeah but remember they hold grudges and right now they have it out for me, Wii Fit, and mainly you. After all if it wasn't for you I would have been stuck in the same place I was before and during most of the Brawl tournament and Wii Fit would probably be willingly packing her suitcase and walking out the doors right now if you hadn't stepped in." Wolf said with worry in his voice. He was right about that. They would be gunning for him after all the trouble he caused for them. The Wolf in front of him wasn't the same one he first met back in the Lylat System. This Wolf was more considerate and kind, though his temper hasn't diminished much.

"Yeah well don't let his empty threats make you jump the gun. The last thing we need is you losing your chance to return to the tournament after all the hard work we've put in to ensure you a spot." Fox said patting his back.

Wolf breathed out. "Yeah you're right." Wolf then looked up and began laughing through his nose.

Fox raised his eyebrow at this. "What's so funny?"

"Well we took that walk and talked like you wanted but turns out you've missed the next part of your planned day." Wolf smiled as he pointed ahead.

Fox looked to see people walking out of the fitness room. Fox's eyes widened as he knew exactly why so many Smashers were walking out at the same time. They were leaving the yoga session! "AW CRAP! What time is it?!" Fox then ran ahead as Wolf just chuckled as he slowly walked behind.

Fox quickly reached the room as he saw Peach in a leotard outfit, Sheik transform back into Zelda, and Samus in her Zero Suit saying their goodbyes to Wii Fit Trainer as she was rolling up her yoga mat. When the three walked out Fox walked past them to her. Wii Fit saw him in the mirrors that were installed just for her class. She stood up and faced him with her rolled up mat.

"Oh Fox there you are. Where were you today?" She asked sounding a bit concerned. Fox simply blushed and rubbed the back of his head.

"I'm sorry I was in the training room with Wolf. I thought the class started at 2." Fox said confused.

"Oh well Master Hand informed me that he didn't want to interfere with my class so he moved it an hour early. Then Crazy Hand announced it over the intercom right after lunch." Wii Fit told him.

"Well then I didn't get the memo since we were the first to finish lunch and Maxwell doesn't allow announcements to go through when someone's in the training room unless they are too important and Master or Crazy patch themselves through." Fox explained to her.

"Guess it was important for you but not enough for it to go through to you. Oh well. There's always next week". Wii Fit Trainer shrugged as she put her mat into her bag and slung it on her shoulder.

"But that means I'll have to wait until Monday. I don't wanna wait three days." Fox whined like a child which earned a giggle from Wii Fit. The laughing continued but unless Wii Fit's voice went incredibly deep and manly in an instant then that meant someone else was in the room. The two looked over to see that was indeed the case as Wolf leaned against the door frame with arms crossed.

"Aww does the wittle foxy wanna keep pwaying with the Wii Fit Twainer?" Wolf asked Fox as he casually walked over, talking to him like he was indeed humoring a toddler who wasn't getting his way.

"Don't make me stuff your towel down your throat." Fox growled in both annoyance and in a playful manner.

Wolf smirked. "Can't let you do that Star Fox." Then Wolf suddenly head locked Fox and began giving him noogies. Fox was yelping and yelling at Wolf to let him go. But Wolf kept going and shouted, "How dare you reference Frozen!"

Soon the two were laughing but Fox also shouted out his pain once in a while too. Wii Fit Trainer laughed along with them. Never in her life did she see two friends this close. She couldn't help but admire how strong their friendship was and how much fun they had with each other. Something had crossed her mind about this but she quickly shook it off. There's no way that could ever happen. But soon the fun was interrupted when the intercom beeped. All three froze in place looking to the speaker.

Master Hand's voice radiated from the speakers. "Attention Smashers! Please come to the auditorium at once! It's time to reveal the next fighter. Again all Smashers to the auditorium for the next reveal." With that the announcement ended.

The three looked from the speaker to each other with the same expression. It was a mixture of excitement and nervousness. "Well guess we should get going." Wii Fit said pointing to the door with her thumb.

"Which means you'll have to take that nap later." Fox said smirking at Wolf. Wolf quickly squeezed his neck before he released Fox and the three walked out of the fitness room and towards the auditorium. As they did other Smashers would walk out of the rooms they were in to walk in front or behind them. They could see the giant doors to the auditorium were open as other Smashers were already filing in. Soon they reached the entrance and walked into the spacious auditorium. There were rows and rows of seats with four alleys, two on each end and the other two cutting down the seats into three separate sections of equal size. The height of the room was an incredible thirty feet with a catwalk above and at the back, above the entrance and exit of the place, was the control booth for lighting, sound, and other things for the stage. The stage was very big itself being twenty feet wide and fifteen feet in length. There were risers set up on the stage and Master Hand in front with a microphone in hand. (A.N.: LOL! Puns are too funny!)

"Please take your seat quickly so we may get started." Master Hand said as everyone was finding the people they wanted to sit by. Luckily the Hands don't force everyone to sit with those from their world or the loner characters to sit with each other. Here everyone could sit where they wanted. Well everyone except... "Also will the twelve confirmed Smashers please come up and stand on the risers."

Fox groaned since he knew that meant him. Wolf smiled at him and nodded before he slipped into a row and sat next to Falco. Fox sighed as he followed Wii Fit Trainer up to the risers behind some of the other confirmed fighters. Soon the twelve were situated on the stage while everyone else was seated in the audience. Fox then saw some stragglers come in and no surprise they were the villains. What also wasn't a surprise was that they were the only ones to sit in the very far back. Fox thought he saw Ganondorf stare at him with a smirk but with the stage lighting it was hard to see if that's what was happening or not so he just shrugged it off.

"Alright now that everyone is here we may get started! As you know we have twelve amazing fighters here today and I am happy to announce our next fighter will be revealed today and turn our twelve fighters into thirteen!" Master Hand shouted enthusiastically. The audience was clapping and cheering but it was small since not everyone was too excited but that didn't mean they were unenthusiastic.

Wii Fit Trainer and Fox clapped as Wii Fit leaned over to him. "Who do you think it is? And will it be someone new?" She whispered.

"I doubt it. There aren't usually too many newcomers compared to the veterans who return. It'll more than likely be someone returning for the next while then after maybe four or five veterans are confirmed then we'll probably get a newcomer. As for who, I can't say for sure. The Hands have been watching everyone and keep their conversations on who should come back private so no one spoils it. That would be bad sportsmanship for one and if they told those who get cut would be depressed or enraged before the Hands get a chance to explain and slowly break it to them. All I know is that whoever they choose will be because they proved themselves worthy of returning and not because of favoritism." Fox whispered back.

The two turned their attention back to Master hand. "Now we've seen significant improvement with this fighter and with a few changes to the moveset we feel it best to safely secure this fighter's place in the next tournament. And where is this fighter from? They come from their world as a loner." Master Hand hinted. Crazy Hand up in the control booth then turned on multiple spotlights above the audience. The spotlights stopped on Sonic, Mr. Game & Watch, Captain Falcon, Snake, Ice Climbers, Olimar, and R.O.B. The seven either shifted nervously or looked confident they would be picked.

"This fighter is a captain…" Master Hand said about to announce the fighter. As he said this Captain Falcon and Snake smiled and fist bumped each other. "See I told you you'd be the first veteran after the party." Snake whispered.

"I now know never to doubt you again Snake, my compadre." Captain Falcon whispered back.

"… Who's braved many places far and wide…" Master Hand continued getting louder.

"You bet I have." Captain Falcon said also getting louder.

"… And discovered a species unknown in their universe." Master Hand finished even louder.

"Yes Captain Falcon ha… Wait. Captain Falcon doesn't remember discovering a species." He said confused.

Snake's eyes widened as he covered his eyes with his hand. "Oh no."

"Welcome back…" A drum roll began as the spotlights began to flicker in between the hinted fighters before landing on, "OLIMAR AND HIS PIKMIN!" Master Hand shouted. Olimar looked surprised as he jumped off his seat and began walking to the stage. In fact everyone seemed surprised Olimar was chosen but they applauded and cheered anyway. He was a great fighter after all. Snake peeked out of his hand to see Captain Falcon twitching and mumbling unintelligible words before covering back up.

Soon Olimar was on the stage next to Master Hand. "Congratulations Olimar. Go on up to the risers and claim your spot in our roster." Olimar nodded as he and a red, blue, and yellow Pikmin were walking to the risers when suddenly, "HOLD IT!" Olimar turned around and everyone looked over to see Captain Falcon standing in the dark audience.

"Yes Captain Falcon? What is it?" Master Hand asked him, confused by the sudden outburst.

"Why is Olimar going up there? That should be Captain Falcon!" He shouted. Soon everyone was groaning and moaning. "What? I should!"

"Falcon, it could have been anyone up here and we've already explained why he was chosen. Besides you still have a chance." Master Hand explained.

"But why didn't you choose Captain Falcon huh?"

"Well we have seen how you've been training long and hard and we understand you've been a fighter since the first tournament but Olimar has gone above and beyond in improving himself and we've noticed that and improvement is more important than just training harder and longer than everyone else." Master Hand told him.

Captain Falcon seemed to be fuming. "That's not fair! That should be me up there! Not that shrimp astronaut and his walking veggies!" The Pikmin glared and began shouting at him in their untranslatable language. "I demand justice! I challenge Olimar to a battle! The winner gets the spot on the risers. Loser has to leave the tournament and they cannot be chosen to take part."

Everyone gasped at this. If Master Hand had eyes they would be glaring in anger at the bounty hunter. "You're out of line Falcon! Olimar is not entitled to accept your outrageous demands!" He shouted. But before anyone could say anything else Olimar stepped forward.

"I accept." Gasps resounded through the auditorium again and Captain Falcon smirked.

"What?! Olimar you do not have to do this!" Master Hand shouted in surprise.

"No. I do have to. I need to prove to Falcon I am the one who deserves this spot. He should see what I can do and learn not to step out of place and take major risks like this. Besides no one insults my Pikmin and gets away with it." Olimar said looking so mad it was actually scary.

Captain Falcon just smirked as he laced his fingers, stretched his arms out, and cracked his knuckles. "This will be easy." He said.

Master Hand groaned. "Fine I will allow this. But this bout will be private. Absolutely no one shall watch except me and Crazy Hand will make sure no one sneaks in." This got a few disapproving groans. "I will relay the rules to you two once we are inside the arena." Master Hand then snapped his fingers, teleporting the three of them to the arena.

Another microphone was heard turning on. "Alright everyone listen up." Everyone recognized Crazy Hand's voice and turned to the control booth. "No one will be permitted to leave this auditorium unless it is urgent like the bathroom. And if someone does need to leave for something urgent they shall be escorted by me."

"And what if someone leaves when you go?" Ganondorf asked, shouting up to him making the other villains snicker. Well, all except Bowser but that wasn't noticed since he was on the stage.

"Simple. Zelda will be in charge when I'm gone and will tell me if someone left through telepathy." Ganondorf growled in annoyance as Zelda waved at him with a haha look. "You may wander around and speak to one another if you like. That is all." Crazy Hand said turning off his mic. Soon most people got out of their seats or off the stage to talk to the others about this crazy bout and who they think would win.

*Meanwhile at the arena*

Master Hand appeared alongside with Captain Falcon and Olimar inside the arena. He turned to the two. "Step into the transporters." The two nodded and turned to two of the four transporters that would take them to the stages to fight in the tournaments. There was construction going on but not now since Master Hand had it stop in the meantime so this could be done without the noise. The two looked around and wondered what could possibly be needed to have construction in here for and why.

"Now we've been reconstructing many things in the arena as you can see. However we are not going to announce any of this yet so if you figure something new out and tell someone or talk about this reconstruction in general, I will have no choice but to send you home immediately. This especially goes for you Falcon. If I hear you tell anyone about Olimar's changes from the Brawl Tournament, you will find yourself back in the F-Zero races faster than any F-Zero race you've taken part of. Do I make myself clear?" Master Hand asked. The two nodded fast.

"Good. Now for the rules of the fight. This will take place on Final Destination and since we don't want anyone to see the new one yet, we will send you to the Brawl version. There will be no items and one stock only. Whoever knocks the other off the stage wins. Understand?" The two nodded again. "Alright. Maxwell, please prepare the battle arena for the… unexpected bout."

"Already done Master Hand." Maxwell stated.

"Good. Now, let battle shall begin." Master Hand said and with that Maxwell transported the two to the Final Destination stage. "3… 2… 1… GO!" Maxwell shouted. Oh yeah Maxwell also serves as the announcer though he's an Englishman outside the battles and inside them he's the super pumped announcer.

Captain Falcon ran at Olimar. "I'm gonna finish this before it can even start."

Olimar shook his head. "Here we go." His Pikmin sighed also knowing.

Captain Falcon stood in front of them before pulling his fist back. "Falcon PAWNCH!" He threw is fist at Olimar with a fire falcon erupting out. But Olimar simply jumped out of the way easily dodging the attack. Olimar landed behind Falcon. "WHAT?! How were you able to dodge my Falcon Punch?!" Captain Falcon shouted somehow confused.

"Oh come on I saw that attack a mile away! Heck I knew you'd use that move before we even started the match!" Olimar shouted back before he threw his red Pikmin which landed on Falcon's face and began attacking.

"OH GOD! It burns!" Falcon cried out flailing his arms.

Olimar just stood there and watched this go down while he sweat dropped. "He's wearing a helmet and his attacks have fire in them. I can't believe he crying over something as pathetic as that."

Master Hand was watching all this on the monitor and he wished he had a face so he could facepalm at this horrible display.

Falcon soon ripped the red Pikmin off who blew a raspberry at him. He growled and tossed the Pikmin in the air before punching it. And no not a Falcon Punch just a normal one. This killed the red Pikmin as his body turned into a spirit with a cry.

Olimar growled. "How dare you harm my Pikmin." He growled, fire seeming to spout around him. Captain Falcon silently gulped to this. Olimar then plucked out a white Pikmin to go with the blue and yellow Pikmin he had. Captain Falcon noticed he only had three Pikmin and figured he must have been limited on the number he could have out but Falcon didn't get to do anything before Olimar and his Pikmin pounced on him.

Olimar threw a punch in his gut, threw his blue Pikmin for his side smash, then jumped in the air with his yellow Pikmin in hand before hitting Falcon and getting him electrocuted from it, and had the white Pikmin grab Falcon and attack him with multiple poisonous hits before throwing him backwards. Falcon landed on his back and got up just in time to see all three Pikmin grab onto him. But before he could do anything about it he was now being attacked by Olimar with more punches.

Soon Olimar blew his whistle and called back his Pikmin but not before Falcon managed to take out the blue Pikmin. As the blue Pikmin's spirit floated away Olimar now plucked out his purple Pikmin. Olimar ran forward and went to smash Falcon off but Falcon shielded himself. Olimar tried to attack through the shield but found he couldn't.

"HAHA! Now you'll never get to me now! Not while I have my shield up." Falcon shouted triumphantly. Olimar had stopped attacking as he and the Pikmin pointed at him. Falcon tilted his head and looked down to see his shield was very small. He forgot to not let his shield shrink. "Oh mother," Was all he got to say before hit shield broke and launched him into the air. When he landed and stood back up he became dizzy.

Olimar sighed. "Honestly how do you forget that? You've been in every tournament." Olimar said as he simply walked up to Captain Falcon knowing his damage percent was high.

"W-Wait, how about we call this a draw? Come on, let's let bygones be bygones pal." Captain Falcon said through his dizziness. Olimar just smiled big. "Buddy?" He brought his purple Pikmin forward. "Amigo?" He charged it up. "Oh son of a…" Then sent the big Pikmin flying up in an up smash and smacked Captain Falcon so high in the air he screamed as he fell into the background of the stage, Team Rocket style.

"GAME! The winner is… Olimar!" Maxwell shouted.

Master Hand sighed. "Well that was very predictable. Bring them back Maxwell."

"Understood sir." Maxwell said returning to his English accent. Soon the two appeared in the transporters with Falcon falling on his face as soon as he reappeared. Olimar stepped out of his and stood beside Master Hand. Muffled cried were heard and both knew Captain Falcon was upset.

Captain Falcon looked up with tears streaming down his face and soon stood up. "I'll go pack by bag now." Captain Falcon whimpered out as he slumped down and began walking or really dragging his feet across the floor.

Master Hand didn't say anything at first but then said. "You're not going home."

"What?!" The two shouted. "But Captain Falcon said loser goes home!" Falcon said.

"Yes but I'm not going to do that." Master Hand said.

"Oh thank you! Thank you!" Captain Falcon shouted happily as he ran to Master hand arms outstretched but before he could hug the dismembered hand Master Hand added to his statement. "…On one condition."

"Oh anything! I wanna stay here!" Captain Falcon cried out.

"Besides not telling anyone about the new stuff you've seen, you must promise there will be no more outbursts like today." Master hand told him in a serious voice.

"Oh you got it! I won't I swear!" Falcon shouted saluting Master Hand.

"Good. I'll keep you to your word then. Now let's head back." Master Hand snapped his fingers and teleported them back to the auditorium.

*Back at the auditorium*

Everyone was talking nonstop, still trying to wrap their heads around everything that had just happened. Fox was sitting with Wolf, Falco, and Wii Fit Trainer. "So who do you think will win?" Wii Fit Trainer asked.

"Are you kidding? Olimar hands down." Falco said surprised by the question.

"What makes you so sure?" She asked.

Fox turned to her. "Well for one Captain Falcon may be strong but he's not the brightest. Also he's still got the same moveset and Olimar's has changed."

Now Wolf jumps in the conversation. "Captain Falcon is already predictable as it is and he won't know how to counter anything new with Olimar unless the changes aren't that different but Olimar will easily know what Falcon will do and counter it easily."

Wii Fit nodded, understanding. Before anyone could say anything else they saw a flash and saw the three back on the stage. Everyone was shocked how fast it went though it wouldn't be a surprise or maybe it would. "Everyone please return to your original location." Master Hand ordered as the twelve fighters quickly made their way back up to the stage. Once they were all back on the risers Master Hand spoke. "Well the bout has finished and the winner was…" He paused to build the tension though it didn't rise that much since everyone was sure it was, "Olimar."

Everyone knew it. But they knew if they cheered it would hurt Captain Falcon more and Master hand would be after everyone for that so they gave a simple applause as Olimar turned around and took his rightful place on the risers. In the back everyone on the stage saw Ganondorf stand up and make his way out. "And where are you going?" Master hand asked.

"Well there's nothing else that needs to be said. Olimar wins and Falcon goes home. What a shame he'll be missed see ya Falcon." Ganondorf said as he started walking again followed by the two that sat with him. Bowser didn't go since he couldn't leave the stage yet.

Master Hand chuckled. "Well actually Falcon isn't going home." At those words Ganondorf and the others froze in place. Everyone else either gasped or looked confused. "It would not be fair for him to go home under these circumstances. Besides I know his fan base is very large and people would be enraged if he didn't get a chance to redeem himself of this little stunt he tried today." This got a bigger applause as everyone thought this to be fair for him. Captain Falcon felt touched by this while the villains groaned as they walked out.

"Alright now there is nothing more to be said except the next reveal will take place in four weeks so be prepared, work hard, and most importantly good luck to you all." With that Master Hand and Crazy Hand vanished and everyone began piling out to return to their regular activities.

Everyone congratulated Olimar on returning to the tournament and he thanked them all. Soon the day had gone by fairly fast but it wasn't over for Fox just yet. He was now running in from the soccer field outside and was making his way to the library. After he was done with Zelda they would head for dinner since it was nearing seven o'clock.

Fox eventually reached the library and opened the doors. This library wasn't your average local library this one was like a labyrinth of books with the shelves being eighteen feet high. What did you expect? This is the Smash Manor we're talking about here. The library had too many books. But the reason for that is because it was filled with literature from each world the Smashers live in. Imagine how many books it came to for the Star Fox crew as they cruise throughout the Lylat System for a living.

Fox entered and began searching for the Hyrulian Princess. "Zelda," He whispered. "Zelda where are you?" It may be big but it's still a library. After looking around Fox's ear darted back when he heard someone loudly whisper at him, "Psst." Fox turned around and saw Zelda behind the bookshelf with the section on the Pokémon world and their regions. Fox quickly approached her. "Hey Zelda, it's been a crazy day today huh?" Fox asked with a chuckle.

"Yes it has. Glad to see Olimar's back." She said.

"Yeah he's a great fighter and he really helps take care of the gardens. It probably wouldn't be too great if he was cut." Fox said with a smile.

Zelda just nodded to his response. "Mm-hm. So Fox do you know why I asked you to meet me here?" She asked. She seemed tense.

"No not really. You didn't give me any reason why this was important so I figured you wanted to catch up." Fox said with a shrug.

"As much as I would like that I'm afraid that's not the case." Zelda said, her hands tensing against her elbows. That didn't go by Fox unnoticed.

"Zelda? What's wrong?" Fox asked concerned.

Zelda stayed silent for a few antagonizing moments before she spoke. "I think someone's in danger."
