Hi guys! Once again I would like to apologize that I've kept you waiting but I would also like to thank you all for still hanging in there and I want you to know that I am going to finish this story but it might take some time I'm afraid :/

I'm not so pleased with this chapter but I guess you just have to start somewhere to get back up on the horse, right? Please don't hate me because it's a short chapter but hopefully I will give you another chapter in just a couple of days :) I love you all, thank you once again and you know that I really appreciate your lovely reviews. Alright, here we go..

"Sh, it's alright Alexander, it's alright darling," Magnus told him again, his arms still around the boy's shoulders.

"No..No, I could-" Alec mumbled as he shook his head, trying to get out of his grip by crawling away but Magnus wouldn't let him.

"Darling please," he begged "I'm alright, I promise you." Magnus said calmly, hoping that Alec wouldn't see the small cut on his throat.

Alec lowered his head and closed his eyes, silently cursing himself for what had happened, just to feel a finger under his chin a few seconds later, wanting him to look up.

"I said-" Magnus tried again with a small sigh, searching his lover's eyes.

"I know what you said!" Alec half-yelled back and eventually got out of his boyfriend's grip just to get up on his feet and head towards the bathroom.

"Wait - " Magnus sighed but he let him walk away. For now, he would give him a moment to calm down, before he would go and try to talk to him again.

He got up and headed towards the bedroom just to take a look in the mirror at the cut on his throat. It wasn't that big, nor deep. It could have been worse, he told himself. Much worse.

Alec slammed the door shut to the bathroom before he sat down with his back against it. He punched it with his fist, grunting out in pain before he buried his head in his hands. This was too much for him to handle. He had hurt Magnus. Not on purpose but it didn't matter really, he had hurt him. It had started as a bad dream and now it was like he didn't know how to wake up.
He closed his eyes in the same second as he heard footsteps outside the door and a soft knock.

"Alec? Are you alright?"

He slowly reached for the door handle to open the door for Magnus, before he sat back down on the floor again "It wasn't locked" he mumbled in a response "You can come in"

Magnus knelt down beside him, stroking his hair "That wasn't my question but thank you"

Alec gave him a weak smile as he leaned in to the touch but he didn't say anything.

"I've made breakfast" Magnus said in a soft voice, stroking his cheek "Are you hungry?"

Alec shook his head "Sorry, no"

"There's coffee," Magnus tried as he sat down next to Alec, feeling how his boyfriend leaned his head against his shoulder.

"Maybe later, thanks."

"Anytime." Magnus whispered and kissed his forehead "I know you don't want to hear this right now, but we're still going to talk -"

"Saved by the bell" Alec tried to joke as he reached into his pocket to take out his phone that was ringing. "It's Jace.."

"What a coincidence" Magnus muttered and rolled his eyes before Alec shoved him a little in the side

"Be nice" Alec said before he pushed the 'answer' button

"You know I can't promise that, love" Magnus winked at him before he stood up "I'll be in the kitchen."

Alec nodded gratefully before he moved the phone to his ear "Hello?"
