We left for Bunny's oasis an hour after that. Oh, you might be asking now: "Why did they wait an hour before they left?". I didn't want to wait. Elsa didn't want to. Tooth and Sandy didn't want to, either. It was North who made us wait. He said he needed some time to finish some "modifications" on his sleigh.

"I'll go on ahead and check on him. He still might not be in trouble. His oasis is kind of hard to find and heavily guarded. Just... catch up as soon as you finish those." Tooth told North.

"Really worried about him, eh?"

"Of course. Aren't you?"

"I am. That's why I'm doing this. Go ahead and warn him. But take another with you. You're not going there alone."

Tooth looked at me, Elsa and Sandy, trying to choose who take with her. Elsa stepped up and...

"As much as I want him by my side, you need Jack to come with you. Sandy and I will wait here and catch up as soon as we can."

Sandy shook his head up and down, raised it again, then smiled at me.

"I guess I'll be that guy. Elsa, are you—"

"I'll be fine. Tooth, and Bunny, needs you more that I do right now. Go. I love you."

I held her hands and said good bye and I love you too. I was just a few centimetres from the ground when Elsa reached for my hand and said:

"Promise me you'll take care of yourself out there."

"Hahaha. I promise." Then, Tooth and I flew to Australia.

Tooth and I flew as fast as we could to Bunny's oasis. While we were on the air, I realized something.

"Hey. Couldn't we have just used one of Santa's snow globes? You know, those things he uses to get around faster?"

"Wait, wha—" Tooth paused. "That... yeah. We could have just used those. Why didn't he just give some to us or used one for all of us to get there."

The two of us stopped in mid air and started to think to ourselves.

"Hey, Jack. You don't suppose Pitch got Nick and is using him right now, do you?"

"Like how he used..." I looked at Tooth. I didn't want to jump to conclusions and all that but, I had to check. "Oh man! We have to get back!"

I took Fairy's hand and flew as fast as I can back to the cabin. I slammed the door open and said out loud:

"ELSA, SANDY, GET AWA—" I realized I was shouting in an empty cabin. "They're... gone."

Toothiana looked right. Pitch might've gotten North. He was controlling him the whole time we were with him!

"I... I can't believe I let this happen. I let Elsa..."

"Jack, it's not your fault. Pitch was..."

"We have to get Elsa back. Same goes for the others." I said as I clenched my fists, mad at I don't know which one, myself or Pitch?

"How do you plan on doing that? We got no one else to help us. Do you think we would stand a chance against them?" Tooth said, probably trying to tell me "You're gonna get killed out there." in a more subtle way.

"Not exactly no one."
