I was hoping to post this before last night but I worked all weekend and unfortunately this is all I could crank out. I really debated posting this chapter, but with all the drama last night, which was an amazing episode if I do say so, i thought I'd lighten the mood with sex. So please let me know what you think, I'm sorry it's so short, and same as always I own nothing.

We had barely made it out of the driveway when Emily announced she had forgot her teddy bear and she couldn't possibly sleep with out it. So we had to turn around. We had made it a half hour the twins watching a movie, Annie entertaining Cass while listening to her own music and Grace and I making small talk in the front seat.

"Hey Boss can I ask you a question?"

"This is a vacation, you don't have to call me boss you know."

"Sorry, but can I ask you a question?"

"Of course."

"It's kind of personal."

"How personal?"

"What's Jane like you know..."

"Grace!"

"What? It's just Wayne and I have been having some problems."

"I will not talk about this."

"I mean not relationship problems, just communication problems on what the other person wants."

"You insist on calling me boss, but you're okay asking me about my sex life? This is not a conversation I will ever have with any of my employee's."

"No come on Aunt Reese I want to know to!" Annie straightened up.

"NO, you are to young, there is no way I will talk to either of you about Jane and I's sex life."

"I'm seventeen, that is not to young. There are fourteen year olds getting pregnant."

"And luckily you are not one of them."

"I'm sorry Boss, it's just sometimes Wayne can be a little oblivious, and I wondered if Jane was the same way."

"Grace, I don't think this is a very appropriate discussion, I mean we work together, my niece is in the back seat along with three toddlers."

"Yeah but I'm the only one back here paying attention."

"Annie!"

"Sorry I bothered, I just didn't really know who else to ask and I thought we were pretty close."

"Grace we are close, this is just not a conversation I want to have."

"Just a yes or no then."

"No."

"Really?"

"I can't believe I'm about to say this, but no Patrick is not oblivious." She didn't say anything, what was I supposed to say, he reads total strangers on a daily basis, did she expect him to be oblivious. "It's just one of the perks of sleeping with a mind reader." I saw Annie grin in the review mirror, but luckily before anything more was said my phone rang. "What's going on?"

"We have two young men who really need to use the bathroom."

"Alright, and how are Ben and William?"

"I think their set for the trip." He chuckled, "Hey are you alright?"

"I'm fine why?"

"Your voice is a little high."

"It's nothing."

"Oh embarrassing conversation, tell me more."

"We'll stop at the next rest station, good bye Patrick."

"Well you're no fun."

"Good bye Patrick." I hung up and stuck the phone back into the cup holder. "The little boys need a potty break, we're stopping soon. And if anyone so much as thinks about mentioning what I just said to anyone in that car, I will have no problem locking you in a cell for eternity."

"Yes boss."

"Crystal clear." Annie just kept grinning. Oh God this was going to be a long trip. The rest stop was quick enough considering our large party, but soon we were stopping again because the girls insisted on lunch. Surprise, surprise Patrick found a nice diner for us to enjoy, only he seemed really distracted the whole meal. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore.

"You okay?" I pulled aside from the group.

"Fine, just fine."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Patrick."

"Nothing's wrong I was just thinking."

"Would you care to share?"

"I promise it's not that big of a deal, I was just thinking that in twenty years this place hasn't changed at all. When we first bought this cabin out here Angie and I stopped here, we kind of made it a tradition to stop here on our way every year."

"Next time we can find a different diner if it would make you feel better."

"Of course not don't be ridiculous. This a family tradition, and I'd like to share it with you guys, my family." He pecked my lips before leading me back to the table absently brushing off the teams concerns about what was going on.

After one more bathroom break we were in the home stretch and I had learned why Patrick had wanted to leave as soon as we could with this many stops we had to have added at least an hour and a half to the drive. Surely the drive with one kid was easier than the drive with five, but then again they were driving from Malibu and that's quite a bit further, so maybe that made a difference I don't know. You could tell we were almost there because the kids in the back were getting antsy, looking out the window and pointing out every house we passed. I started a count down of the miles more to keep my sanity with the kids in the back seat than because I was as excited as the girls in the back seat. Even Cass was getting excited and I doubt she really understood why.

The guys car turned off and pulled up a long and winding drive before stopping, this could not possibly be our destination, this was not a cabin.
