Of course I'd love to hear your reviews, and I own nothing

The kids were tucked in, Cho headed to bed early soon followed by Risgby and Van Pelt, eventually Annie joined them. Leaving Patrick and I to sneak out to the hot tub for some of that peace and quiet he promised.

"God this feels good, my muscles are so stiff." I leaned into Patrick's side while the jets massaged my body.

"You know I don't know if I've ever had the pleasure of seeing you in a swimsuit Ms. Lisbon."

"Well it's not exactly dress code at work."

"I'll have to remember to take you to the beach this summer, maybe teach you to surf."

"Is there anything you can't do?"

"No, I'm perfect." He laughed and kissed my neck.

"Sometimes I think so." I sigh, "Then you open your mouth."

"Fair enough, I'll keep my mouth closed." The kisses stopped.

"Smart ass."

"What you said keep my mouth closed, so I obe…." He didn't finish because I was kissing him. We heard movement in the house a little while later, and decided that was our cue to get to bed ourselves. Of course that meant sneaking past Wayne and Grace in the kitchen. Patrick wanted to give them a hard time but I refused to let him being as we were in our swimsuits and sneaking in from our own compromising activities.

No one wanted to get up the next morning everyone was at least a little stiff, by the time we were headed to the kitchen Annie was already there with a bowl of cereal. "Busy night last night?" She smirked between spoonfuls. I glanced at Patrick who smirked, I saw Rigsby and Van Pelt exchanging similar glances.

"What are you talking about?" I got up the courage to ask.

"Kitchen or hot tub?" Annie wondered.

"Excuse me?" I tried again, Patrick went about getting himself some breakfast and putting a pot of coffee on for the rest of us, but the rest of us just watched Annie.

"Were you the ones in the hot tub or the ones in the kitchen?" She repeated.

"Hot tub." Patrick prompted making his tea.

"That means you two were in the kitchen." Annie nodded, "So Aunt Reese you guys must have come inside while I was in the bathroom because I didn't see anyone when I walked back." I just nodded, great busted by my niece.

"We must have." I accepted my coffee and laid my head on the counter.

"What no reason to be ashamed Teresa you fell plenty of times the jets massaged your sore muscles." Patrick sat next to me. "So what were you two doing in the kitchen in the middle of the night?"

"You know midnight snack we burned a lot of calories during the day. Dinner was great and the dessert brilliant but you know Wayne always hungry." Grace stared at the table the whole time she spoke.

"Of course." Annie just grinned, and Patrick looked at each of us and smirked.

"You guys have issues." Cho rolled his eyes. We barely got the kids to the daycare on time having slept in later than planned. We took our time hitting the slopes ourselves, much to Patrick's disappoint. Where he got all his energy from I'll never know. Probably more of his biofeedback crap.

However I can happily say the second day of skiing went better than the first there were fewer falls on everybody's part. Much to my dismay Patrick still hasn't fallen but he couldn't be this lucky forever eventually he would have to hit the snow. At lunch we talked about the restaurant and casino at which we would be spending the evening. While Annie tried to bargain some sort of pay before being reminded she was having this whole trip paid for on our dime, and food and shelter could be considered pay for one night of babysitting. That afternoon as a group we decided to end early, well Annie and Patrick stayed out and did a few more runs but the rest of us agreed if we were to have any energy left for this evening we should call it quits.

Patrick and Annie met us in the bar where we were waiting for them with the kids. We didn't stay long, just one drink and then we went home to shower and change for a night out.

"Dinner just needs to be put in the oven about a half hour before your ready to eat." Patrick reminded before giving William one more hug.

"And make sure they go to bed on time they must be exhausted."

"I know, I know. You've told me all of this already." Annie pushed us out the door, "Don't worry about a thing have fun."

"Hey dinner's on the three of us tonight." Grace announce as we were led to our seat.

"Not a chance Grace."

"Come on Jane your paying for this whole trip the least we can do is pay for dinner one night especially if we consider this a dinner to celebrate your upcoming wedding."

"Grace you might want to look at the menu before you go volunteering to pay." Patrick argued, we all looked at the prices, even the appetizers cost at least eleven dollars.

"Doesn't matter we're paying." Rigsby forced himself to look away from the prices.

"Nonsense, how about the person who wins the most at the casino pays for dinner." Patrick offered.

"We haven't even been to the casino yet Jane."

"So."

"You aren't paying."

"Neither are you three." Patrick smirked.

"Someone has to pay."

"And someone will." What was he playing at? Who did he expect to pay for dinner? "We'll have two bottle of your most expensive wine." Patrick called over the waiter. Not long after that we were ordering just as we were about to order dessert and another bottle of wine a man approached the table.

"Patrick Jane it has been such a long time." The man announced to basically the entire restaurant. Patrick put aside his napkin and got up to shake the man's hand.

"That it has Samuel that it has."

"Who are these lovely people you're with this evening?"

"Co-workers."

"That's not the Patrick Jane I remember, he worked alone."

"Yeah well things happen careers change."

"I heard about that, you know my wife was heartbroken when she got the news, she considered herself Angie's best friend."

"I know she did."

"So co-workers what are you doing these day."

"I'm a consultant, for the California Bureau of Investigation."

"Patrick Jane working with the police, no one around he would have seen that coming."

"I don't think any one I knew back then would have."

"So what brings you back here, rumor is no one's seen you around here in years."

"Celebrating what else? Would you like a seat, I'm sure we could squeeze one in."

"No no I wouldn't want to intrude, celebrating what?"

"The holidays, my engagement to the lovely Agent Teresa Lisbon."

"Marriage, well I'm glad to hear it, let me buy you another bottle of wine, no no let me buy dinner for this fine looking group."

"Don't be ridiculous Samuel."

"No no Patrick it's the least I could do for an old friend."

"I couldn't let you do that."

"Hush Patrick I insist."

"Alright, alright there's no point arguing if you insist."

"Good so will I be seeing this fine group tomorrow night for the New Years Eve party?"

"Afraid not, we've got some kids we'd like to spend the holiday with."

"Well to bad. I'll see you around you'll be here the whole week yes?"

"Yes."

"Good remember to tell the waiter to put it on my tab, and if you don't I'll come after you."

"And I wouldn't want that."
