I am posting this to let you know that I am not dead, and I have received multiple pleas to keep up my writing. Well here it is, it is shorter than what I used to write but chalk that up to lack of practice, lack of time, and wanting to let you know I had something in the works. It took longer for me to post that I would like because I went back and reread my whole story because I didn't want any new posts to be lacking. And all I can say is thank you to all of those who read the whole thing because it is long and I made a hell of a lot of grammatical errors.

Now for the important part, like I said I have more planned but it is up to you as to whether I continue because for those of you who forgot I left off with Jane and Lisbon engaged, the whole team was on a ski trip, and Williams birthday was coming up. So I do have a couple things in mind. Also bear in mind I am a college students so any updates from here on out will not necessarily be on a regular basis they will come when ever I get the chance. Oh and obviously this story will have nothing to do with the events of the past season because they don't match up with the things I already have written.

Again thank you for staying with me this long I would love to hear back from you it has been so long since I have been on this site. And as usual I own nothing.

The next morning I was surprised to find that Patrick was still in bed next to me, his arms wrapped tightly around my waist. "What time is it?"

"Nine thirty."

"We'll be late."

"We're not going today."

"Thank the Lord I don't think I could move, my legs are so stiff." I whined and h e laughed as I curled into his side.

"Worse than running with me?"

"Definitely."

"Should we be considering a massage, I rather enjoyed joining you in the bath."

"Not when we're in the same house as all our co-workers."

"Fine." He pouted but disappeared under the sheets and started massaging my calves. We didn't get out of bed for another half hour.

When we did get up we weren't at all surprised to find a mostly empty living room. The only one up was Cho sitting by the fireplace reading.

"Food in twenty." Patrick informed before dragging me into the kitchen, I don't think Cho even acknowledged us. "What do we have for today, apple cinnamon, chocolate chip, peanut butter, banana, strawberry, oh how does chocolate and raspberry sound?"

"Why ask me you're the one that's going to be making it."

"Yes, but you are the one that will be eating it."

"What were my options again?"

"Anything we have, apple cinnamon, chocolate chip, peanut butter, banana, strawberry, blueberry, and I wonder what chocolate and raspberry would taste like in a pancake."

"I don't know try it."

"Okay I will."

"Maybe make a couple normal pancakes to."

"How about some chocolate and some blueberry."

"That's fine to." I just shook my head sat on a stool and watched him make breakfast. "So if we aren't skiing today what are we doing?"

"Well we have five kids and a yards full of snow I think we'll find something." He answered, and soon everyone was gathered around the kitchen table devouring breakfast. After breakfast just as Patrick suggested we bundled up in snow gear and built a snowman, then a couple snow forts and you can't have snow forts with out a snowball fight. That was followed by heading down to the lake for skating in snow boots since the only one of us who actually owned skates hadn't used his in years. When the day was done it had ended like most had after dinner we were gathered in front of the fireplace with a drink and a movie playing. We had two more days left of vacation, we were over halfway done where had the time gone. Once the kids were tucked in the grown ups stayed up for a couple more drinks and some conversation. We had always been close as a team but I was constantly surprised by how little we actually knew about each other.

After we all turned in for the night Patrick let me in on his plan for a little alone time for the two if us while skiing tomorrow.
