So I know I haven't posted in a while and I'm kinda at a dead end as far as the story goes. I have ideas but I can't seem to get them down on paper. So this is the end, my final wrap up. Sorry for making you wait for such a disappointing ending to one of my favorite stories to write. I guess to much time has passed since the beginning of this story for me to come up with an ending that this story deserves. As always I own nothing. And thank you for sticking with me and the story this long.

The minute we walked into the house Emily had people around her. Everyone wanted to know if she was okay. The team had run to the store on their way home and picked up some ice cream, some flowers, and a get well soon balloon.

As a group we decided to stay at the house instead of go skiing the last day of our trip. We hung out in front of the fire, watched movies, and played board games. I had to reassure Annie a couple more times that Emily's arm wasn't her fault, and then Patrick had to reassure me a couple more times that it wasn't my fault either and I wasn't a terrible mother. He argues that if anything it was his fault because he had suggested leaving the kids in the first place. To which it was my turn to reassure him that it wasn't his fault.

We were watching a movie after dinner when it dawned on me, we were a family, all of us here, and we were going to be okay. In a couple months I was going to marry the man I loved and we would raise four beautiful kids together, with three amazing friends we could depend on.
