Harry's POV

I awoke suddenly to a scream. I shot up and looked to see Ginny panic stricken. Her eyes wide.

Me:"Ginny what's up? Is everything ok?"

She pointed to my bare chest. My right hand consciously touched my chest as I looked down. There on my chest was a scar. Unlike the one on my forehead this one was a large cut across the left side of my chest. I caught the writing of I must not tell lies on my right hand. I had forgotten to cast the disillusionment charm last night. I looked over my battered and bruised body before looking back at Ginny. She wasn't supposed to have seen this. And I couldn't erase her memory to make her forget. I wouldn't do that to her.

Me:"gin this is nothing. Your tired go back to sleep."

Gin:"Harry I am not tired. How is it I haven't seen these before?" Before I could answer realisation seemed to dawn on her face. "Harry James Potter have you been casting the disillusionment charm on yourself so no one can see your wounds?" I nodded slowly. Ginny gave a strangled gasp. "Why would you do that?" She asked quietly as tears began to run down her cheeks.

Me:"because I didn't want anyone to make a fuss. I didn't want to get them seen. They remind me of what happened and they keep me grounded. I'm selfishly happy with you and moving forward in life. All them people that died and left loved ones behind they can't move forward. They can't be happy. Keeping these marks makes me remember how many died and so I can't move forward. It tells me that I'm being selfish by being too happy. I knew you wouldn't see it like that so I hid them. But you drive me so crazy in a good way and you make me forget all the bad things. I tend to forget a lot around you and I must have forgotten last night."

Gin:"Harry. We only fuss because we care."

Me:"I know but you shouldn't care."

Gin:"Harry..." I cut her off.

Me:"no Ginny. You shouldn't. Uuurrrrggggghhhhh! I have stuff to do."

With that I quickly got out of bed and rushed into the bathroom. I caught a glimpse of Ginny. I'd made her upset but I couldn't do this right now. I looked down at myself again. The scar across my chest was where the killing curse had hit me. The bruises and small cuts caused from the spells Voldemort and his followers had thrown at my limp body. The writing on my hand from my fifth year. Umbridge had caused that. Professor Dumbeldore had told me the scar of that would never fade. It had been imprinted too deeply. I sighed heavily before having a quick shower. I accioed my suit as I wasn't ready to face Ginny and quickly threw on my clothes. I cast the disillusionment charm once more then walked back into the room to see Ginny sat on the now made bed. She was pulling on Teddy's pants. She looked towards me sadly as I entered.

Me:"I have to leave with Neville to pick up his parents. We'll come back here then leave for hogwarts together."

Gin:"Harry you haven't eaten."

Me:"I'm not hungry." Then without looking at her I walked towards the door and opened it. Just as I was about to step out she said something.

Gin:"I love you Harry." I sighed dejectedly.

Me:"I love you too Ginny."

Then closing the door behind me I walked down slowly my eyebrows furrowed. I knew I had hurt her but this is something I didn't want to discuss. Even though I knew I eventually had to today wasn't the day. I walked down to see mum rushing around the kitchen making breakfast and neville Luna, hermione Ron Fred and George sat around the table eating breakfast.

Me:"ready to go Neville?"

Mum:"Harry dear. Have some breakfast first."

Me:"mum I'm really not hungry I will eat later ok?"

Mum:"ok pet. Take care both of you ok. And apparate straight back here."

Me:"yes mum." She hugs me placing a kiss on my forehead and gives Neville a hug too. Neville and Luna share a hug before me and Neville walk out past the wards and apparate to st mungo's hospital.

As soon as we reappeared in front of the hospital we were swamped by reporters. My head hurt. People were shouting and pushing. Cameras were flashing. My head hurt. I could feel anger rising within me. I just wanted them to stop. Then all of a sudden I felt a light emanate from my body and a silvery orb like shield surrounded me and Neville. It blocked out the noise and the flashes and allowed us to walk through the crowd parting it efficiently.

Neville:"cool Harry I didn't know you could do magic like that."

Me:"neither did I." I mutter quietly. How did I do that?

As the crowd of reporters leave us behind and my anger ebbs away the shield dissolves in to the air. We walk up to the front desk and after being over excitedly greeted we are led to Neville's parents stop I front the room and I nod a thanks to our helper and she leaves. I look towards Neville.

Me:"ready?"

Neville:"as ready as I'll ever be."

He smiles. I smile back and slowly open the door. There sat on the end of one bed, luggage packed are sat frank and alive longbottom. Frank had his arm around alive and as I opened the door they both looked up and smiled. Standing they took a step closer to Neville and engulfed him into a hug. I felt like I was intruding so I was about to step out when my name was called. I looked up to see all three of them smiling at me. Again I felt a pang of guilt and longing for my own parents. No. I shook the thought away. I had the Weasley's now. They were my family.

Alice:"Harry." She moves away and comes towards me. She puts her arms around me and squeezes me into a hug. "Harry we are so sorry about lily and James. You look just like James." She takes my face in her hands. "Except your eyes. You have Lily's eyes."

I smiled at her and blinked away tears that threatened to fall. Frank hugged me too and they both insisted that I call them frank and Alice. Then me and Neville took a bag each and we left the room heading towards the entrance. As we neared I thought to myself how I wanted to be able to avoid the reporters outside. And just as I had thought it the shield formed again. This time around all four of us. Alice and frank gave me surprised looks but I pretended not to take notice. As soon as we were out of the entrance we apparated on the spot and appeared outside the wards of the burrow. The shield once again dissolved in the air and we stepped over the wards. I walked ahead and Neville followed with his parents.

Me:"mum were home." I shouted as we neared the open door. In the next second mum had come barrelling out.

Mum:"frank Alice it's so good to see you." She said hugging them both. They smiled warmly.

Frank:"and you Molly. How are you? Where's Arthur? And Neville where's your gran?"

Gran:"I'm here son." She said walking slowly towards them.

Mum:"Arthur is at work. But come in. I've made you a late breakfast." she smiled as she led them into the kitchen. I could see people working around the house now too. But I couldn't see Ginny or teddy anywhere.

Fred:"she's gone for a walk with Luna. She's taken teddy with her." he whispered to me. "Harry is everything ok?" I wanted to say yes it was fine but all of a sudden I didn't want to keep it to myself anymore. I wanted to tell Fred and George. I knew I shouldn't. I deserved to go through this alone but they were the best make do brothers I'd ever had. Fred looked at me expectantly. "Harry."

I shook my head. Ne nodded then motioned me to follow him and George who had now joined us upstairs. I followed them. The upstairs was in a bad state. The work men had pulled most of it apart so there were large holes everywhere but they had started to reconstruct. I followed them into there rio and they closed the door behind us.

George:"Harry what's up? You know you can tell us anything?"

Me:"me and Ginny had a bit of an argument?"

Fred:"about what?"

Me:"me?"

George:"why what happened?"

Me:"this." I say taking my glazer of and opening the buttons of my shirt. I mutter the counter charm to the disillusionment charm and slip my shirt of. Fred and George gasp.

Fred:"how."

Me:"this is when I went into the Forrest and Voldemort shot the killing curse at me." I say pointing to the long cut. "They thought I was dead so Voldemort and the death eaters fired hexes and curses at me." George lifted my right hand.

George:"this is from fifth year isn't it? How come this hasn't gone?"

Me:"Dumbeldore said it's been imprinted to deep. These scars will never go. I cast a disillusionment charm on them so no one sees but I forgot last night and Ginny saw them this morning. I didn't want to talk about it and she was angry I hid it from her and then I kinda said I don't want to talk about it and then I left." I finished telling them the painful conversation that had taken place between me and Ginny as I cast the charm once more and put my top and blazer back on. "Guys you can't tell anyone ok. Promise me please."

Fred:"look Harry we won't tell. But we honestly think you should."

George:"yeah Harry. If mum somehow sees that like Ginny did without you meaning for them to see it she's gonna go ape. Ginny's right. We'll only fuss coz we care. Harry your our little brother. Even were worried and you know me and Fred we never worry. Look just get it seen to just to be sure it's not dangerous and it's just a scar. You don't deserve any of this. If you want we'll come with you." I nodded. I knew they were right but I still had a lot of getting used to this whole family thing.

Me:"ok I'll do it. But let me talk to Ginny first." They both nod. We leave their room and carefully make out way back down. Dads back home and he's sat eating with frank and Alice as mum sips her tea. She smiles when she sees me.

Mum:"Harry dear come and have something to eat."

Me:"I'm really not hungry mum. Have you seen Ginny." She looks at me worriedly.

Mum:"she should be coming back from the lake now." I nod as I head out the back door.

I walked to the end of the garden and strode under the shade of the large oak tree. I waited a couple of minutes before I saw the silhouette of the person I seeked. Ginny was pushing the stroller and luna was walking besides her. Ginny smiled at something Luna said and again I was mesmerised by her beauty. She had a sleeveless grey dress on with a black outline. Her hair was open and she had black flip flops on. She had light makeup on but dark kohl in her eyes. As they neared I stepped out from under the tree. They stopped in their tracks.

Ginny:"Harry." She half choked. I loved Luna more in that moment for understanding the situation as she took the stroller of Ginny and walked to the house leaving us in privacy.

Me:"Ginny. I'm sorry." The next moment she was in my arms and I was holding her like my life depended on it. Because in a way it did. I kissed her head as tears escaped my own eyes. I brushed her hair back and lifted her face to look in my own.

Ginny:"please don't be angry with me Harry."

Me:"gin I could never be angry with you. I'm sorry I just didn't expect you to find out like this. And before you say anything." I say cutting her off as she opens her mouth to speak. "I know I shouldn't have hidden it from you. Or mum for that matter. I just didn't think it'd affect you like it did. I'm so used to caring for myself I tend to forget that there's people who really do care. I forget that they'll be hurt to see me hurt. Fred and George reminded me of that. So I'm going to show mum and maybe dad but Ginny you have to understand I don't want everyone to see." She nods and slowly smiles.

Gin:"Harry your not a show piece. As long as you show mum I'm fine with that. But where did the twins came from?"

Me:"they asked me before what was up and it kinda all came spilling out because I was upset. Bit everything's ok now." she smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck as mine tightened around her waist. Her lips found mine and we stood there under the shade of the tree lost to each other.

Gin:"yes it is." She whispered against my lips. 5 minutes later we pulled away and hand in hand walked back to the house to get ready to leave for Hogwarts with the others.

We walked in to see everyone smiling at us. Luna had teddy strapped to herself. I whispered to Ginny.

Me:"we'll tell them later." She nodded discreetly.

Dad:"right were all apparating into hogsmeade. From there we'll walk to Hogwarts."

Everyone nodded. We all walked out and past the wards off the burrow. I held on to Ginny's hand and just as we were about to apparate Fawkes landed on my shoulder. I smiled at him as he left my shoulder and hovered in front of me indicating to grab his tail. Ginny's hand in one hand I used my free hand to hold Fawkes's golden tail as our family watched us with interest. As soon as my hand wrapped around the tail a burst of warm flames burst out beneath mine and Ginny's feet. The sensation was amazing. There was no smoke making it hard to breath. Just warmth. And next thing out feet had left the ground. Moments later we touched down and found ourselves at the entrance doors of Hogwarts. We turned around to see our family hurrying through the gates and towards us. Fawkes had taken his place on my shoulder. Mum was about to say something but just then the great oak doors opened and there stood professor McGonagoll in her billowing emerald robes and pointy hat. She stepped forward and embraced me. She squeezed tightly as if to prove to herself I was there and well. As she pulled away I saw her quickly wipe away a stray tear.

Proff m:"sorry I just..."

Me:"its ok professor." I said smiling at her. She smiled back.

Proff m:"your ok Harry?" I nodded.

Proff m:"this way then." She said leading us into the great hall.

I looked around at our surroundings before we entered the hall and noticed the others doing the same. There was still rubble lying around but the rebuilding had begun. Just before we entered the hall teddy began to cry and held his arms out for me to take him. I took him off Luna and he stopped crying instantly. Ginny smiled at us as she kissed Teddy's cheek. We walked in to the great hall. It looked larger than usual. There were round tables arranged all around the hall and there was the raised platform and the teachers seats behind it. The hall looked the most normal. As if the war hadn't even touched it. All the flags were black as a sign of respect for those who had given there lives.

We were given a table right at the front. I noticed a lot of our friends hanging around. They all came up to our table and greeted us. Then professor McGonagoll tapped her glass and silence descended the whole hall. I didn't fail to notice that no slytherins had showed up. The ceremony proceeded and all the names were listed. All those who had fought in the war had received awards. The Kingsley shackelbolt came to the front.

Kingsley:"as the new minister for magic I would like to award a few more awards." I lent towards dad.

Me:"dad did you not win? I was so sure you would."

Dad:"I did win Harry but I decided I would like to take things easy and spend more time with my family so I gave my position to Kingsley instead. I'll explain it later ok." I nodded as I turned my attention back to Kingsley.

Kingsley:"semus finnigan, lavender brown, Luna lovegood, Neville longbottom and there leader miss Ginevra Weasley. I award you order of Merlin's second class."

I squeezed Ginny's hand as she got up along with the others to receive her award. I applauded the loudest. The rest of the DA members had received order of Merlin's 3rd class. She came back and sat down besides me practically glowing As she placed her award on the table. When the noise died down Kingsley continued.

Kingsley:"to miss hermione granger and me Ronald Weasley I award you both order of Merlin's first class." I clapped so hard my hands hurt. Mione and Ron were grinning as they walked on to the stage to receive there awards. When there was silence once more Kingsley spoke out.

Kingsley:"and last but no least to mr Harry potter." I felt all eyes on me as Ginny took a half sleeping teddy out of my arms. "I award you order of Merlin's first class and the saviour of the world award. You lead an army when it was the responsibility of others and you risked your life for the peace of both worlds. Awards cannot say enough how grateful we are."

A thunderous applaud broke out waking teddy but I sat rooted to my seat. Ginny pushed me off and forwards. I walked slowly as every eye followed each of my steps. I didn't deserve this award. I didn't want to be here anymore. I shouldn't be accepting it. I walked on to the stage and Kingsley smiled proudly shaking my hand and passing me my awards. I looked down in shame.

Kingsley:"would you like to say anything Harry?"

Me:"I don't deserve these awards. Any of them. The truth is most of the time I just got lucky and nearly all the time I had help. When we were searching for horcruxes it was thanks to hermione's brain we got anywhere and it was Ron's thinking and professor snape's help that enabled us to destroy them. Ginny Neville and Luna held the fort here. They resisted and started up dumbeldore's army again with the help of semus and lavender. I did the easy part. Anyone could have done it if it hadnt been for the prophecy. Neither can live while the other survives. It had to be him killing me or me killing him. But so many people died. and everyone says that they died a hero's death but they still died. They left loved ones behind to mourn. And that pain will never go away. Trust me I know. And now I have the best family ever who have always been there for me and my two best friends who I can't imagine my life without and the one person because of whom I never gave up. Ginny."

By this point I was in tears. I felt someone enfolded their arms around me. I just cried. I didn't care any more who saw me. I could here applause but why were they applauding. They should be deserting me. Firm hands moved me away from the body and I looked up to see it was professor McGonagoll who had held me. She was crying herself as she wiped my eyes. She put her arm around my shoulders and walked me back to my table and helped me into my seat. She squeezed my shoulder reassuringly before walking back to take her space. Ginny slid her warm hand into mine before smiling at me and gently pecking my lips. I looked up and for the first time that night I realised professor McGonagoll had taken dumbeldore's seat. I smiled at her glad she was the new head mistress.

Prof M:"we'll eat first. Announcements later." As she said that food appeared on all the tables and everyone began to tuck in. But I wasn't very hungry. I stood up to leave.

Gin:"Harry where are you going?"

Me:"I'm not hungry gin. I need to take a walk."

Gin:"but food. You haven't eaten. Please Harry."

Me:"I'll be back in time for dessert I promise ok." She nodded sadly.

I kissed her head, before walking out of the hall and into the grounds. I walked around the black lake before settling myself beneath mine and Ginny's tree. I sat and watched the giant squid bathing in the huge black lake. I was lost in thought when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked around to see Ginny sat besides me.

Gin:"I thought I might find you here." I looked at her slightly confused. "It's nearly time for dessert. I didn't want you to break your promise."

I smiled at her as she slid a hand into mine standing up and pulling me up with her. We walked back to the castle in a comfortable silence. We took our seats once more just as dessert appeared. Ron and hermione both gave me worried looks but I ignored them. Frank immersed me in to conversation before we were interrupted by Kingsley. He asked for me to walk with him to the hall doors where we could talk in a little privacy.

Kingsley:"Harry I want to offer you a job as an auror at the ministry."

Me:"what? Really?"

Kingsley:"yes. You have the training you have the brains. We are still tracking down the death eaters that were closest to voldermort. A lot of death eaters had their marks somehow removed and they are the ones that lived. Once it began to grow lighter in colour they knew he was becoming weak and when they were able to remove it they knew he was vulnerable. Only a few removed it though about 10 of them. The rest died when you killed him because his mark tainted their souls. When the master was destroyed so was the mark and the ones who wore it. We would like you to join us as I could think of no one we've lost a fair few aurors during this war. So what do you say?" I was shocked but I didn't know what I wanted to do yet.

Me:"can I think about it please?"

Kingsley:"of course. Let me know when you've made a decision." I nodded my thanks and we both walked back to our seats. Then professor McGonagoll asked for silence once more.

Prof M:"right I need the last replies of this who are returning to Hogwarts within a week. Head boys and girls and prefects will be informed by post as will quidditch captains. The school will be really full this year but I'm sure we will manage. Let's just say Hogwarts castle changes itself to fulfil the needs of it's occupants. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you here at the end of September. I hope you enjoyed your evening and good night."

Everyone got upto leave. Our table bid all our friends good bye. Then we started to leave once we reached the entrance gates we realised it was a little chilly outside as night had fallen. Teddy was sleeping peacefully in his carrier. Ginny conjured up a blanket and put a simple warming spell on it before wrapping it around a sleeping teddy. Holding the carrier in one hand I took Ginny's hand in the other. I knew we could apparate from inside the grounds so we bid a quick goodbye to the family aa they would have to walk to hogsmead first. Then apparat ing on the spot hogwarts dissolved in front of our eyes and the burrow door appeared. We quickly walked in trying to get out of the cold.

Gin:"Harry. How can you apperate in and out of wards?"

Me:"Dumbeldore." She gave me a confused look. "I don't fully understand myself yet but the night Dumbeldore passed away he gave me his powers. And he told me Harry your the greatest wizard the world will ever see. Not only one prophecy was made when you were born. There was another. But very few know of it. Once voldermort is destroyed your body will change and develope for your magic to come forward. You will do things no one has ever imagined. No one not even me could ever do and no one in future will be able to do it. There is only you. You won't need a wand for this kind of magic. It will come from within you. To protect your loved one, your family your friends and the world Harry your magic will even turn dark without your say so. It will only harm to protect and only kill if killing is the last option. It will not control you. Your emotions and thoughts will control it. Your magic is something beyond anyone has ever seen and beyond something anyone will ever see."

Gin:"harry that's amazing. But why don't you look happy about it?"

Me:"gin. I'm not amazing. And why is it always me?"

Gin:"Harry you are amazing and face it if it wasn't always you our lives would be boring."

I smiled at her as she circled her arms around my neck threading her fingers into my messy hair and pulled me close. My arms slipped around her waist and I bought my lips down to hers. i deepened the kiss losing myself into her, pushing her against the kitchen counter.

Ron:"OI! What do you think your doing?"

Me and Ginny broke apart but we still had our arms around each other. Ron was pointing his wand at us. Before any of us even registered what had happened Ron shot a spell towards me, a shield appeared in front of me and Ginny, the spell rebounded and hit the wall, then mum walked in to see a huge hole where the spell had hit.

Mum:"what the..." But she was cut of by Ginny. The shield had fallen away and Ginny was storming over to Ron. I quickly ran after her keeping her back so she couldn't hurt Ron as much as I hated him right now.

Gin:"RONALD BILLIUS WEASLEY! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR PLAYING AT? THATS YOUR BEST FRIEND AND MY FIANCÉ!"

Ron:"YES WELL HE WAS KISSING MY SISTER!"

Gin:"I'LL MAKE SURE TO REMIND HARRY TO HEX YOU THE NEXT TIME YOU KISS HERMIONE THEN! AND AS FOR BEING YOUR SISTER I DISOWN YOU FROM THIS SECOUND!"

Just then all the others walked in. Including mione.

Mione:"what's going on?"

Me:"nothing mione."

Gin:"don't cover for him Harry. Ron here decided to try and hex Harry because we were kissing."

Mione:"WHAT?!"

Ron:"I... Errrrr... I."

Mione:"just give it up Ron. I've had enough of your childish behaviour. Ginny will you please help me pack my stuff. I'm going to spend the night on the sofa and I'll be going home first thing in the morning."

Ron:"but mione."

Mione:"save it Ron. I don't want to hear it. Ginny?"

Gin:"of course I will. Mum do you mind keeping teddy for a bit?"

Mum:"of course not. I'll keep him the night. You don't worry love."

With that Ginny took my hand and followed hermione up the stairs. Once in tons room I took hold of hermione's hand.

Me:"mione don't do this to him. It's ok he didn't hurt me. He's just trying to protect Ginny. You can't blame him." Mione pulled her hand out of my grip and turned on me angrily.

Mione:"can't blame him. Harry he tried to curse you. I don't see you throwing curses at him every time he kisses me. And what is he protecting Ginny from? The guy who saved the world? If anyone can protect Ginny it's herself and you. He is being selfish and childish and I've had enough. I'm not talking to him until he comes to his senses."

I looked at Ginny for help but she just shrugged her shoulders and turned to help mione. We helped mione to pack and just as we were done Ron entered the room looking sullen. Ginny took my hand and led me out of the room closing the door behind us. Once we were in oit room she sat me down on the bed and sat besides me taking my hands into her own.

Gin:"are you ok?"

Me:"I'm fine. I just think you guys are being too hard on Ron. His intentions weren't wrong."

Gin:"Harry don't. Ron was wrong. And after all you've been through Ron had no right. He needs to grow up. So just drop the subject." She looked me straight in the eyes. I knew she wasn't going to back down.

Me:"ok ok. I'll drop it." She smiled slightly.

Gin:"good. Now do you wanna tell mum and tonight or another day?"

Me:"might as well get it over with tonight. I'll get Fred and George you get mum and dad." She nodded as I ran up the stairs and she ran down.

5 minutes later the 6 of us were gathered in mine and Ginny's room.

Me:"mum. Dad. There's something I have to show you. These guys convinced me to tell you. Plus I don't want you to find out any other way. But just promise me you'll stay calm."

Mum:"Harry dear what is it? We'll promise to stay calm."

Me:"well it'll make more sense if I show you." I took of my top slowly and muttered a spell as I did so. Mums hands flew to her mouth as she gasped loudly.

Mum:"Harry" she breathed. She took a step closer towards me running her hands over my bruised body. She fingered the large cut on my chest and I winced before she took my right hand into her own. She stroked the embedded writing softly. "How?"

Me:"the writing on my hand is from my fifth year. Professor umbridge's special quill's. The scar on my cheat is from the killing curse. The one in the woods." I couldn't say much more than that.

Mum:"why did you never tell me."

Gin:"because he didn't want to make a fuss and he didn't want them to be treated."

Just then the door opened and hermione walked in. She was saying something but stopped abruptly. She looked at me then at all of us then back at me. She glanced at my torso. We were all frozen to our spaces.

Mione:"Harry what the hell happened?!" She screeched. Oh no. No one else was supposed to see. I could hear before I saw the rest of the household rushing in. They were all staring. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid.

Fred:"ok that's enough guys. You can all leave now."

Fleur:"I theenk not. Arry is family. Ve ave a right to now vat is wrong wid im. Ve are vorrid too. Now vat as appened?" I sighed deeply.

Me:"the scar on my chest is from the killing curse. Voldemort hit me with it but he killed a part of himself as you all know. The bruises and other cuts are from hexes and jinxes the death eaters threw at me when they thought I was dead. I didn't show you guys because I didn't want a fuss and I don't want to be treated. The scar on my hand and on my chest will never heal. They are like the one in my forehead. Dumbeldore told me the pain will go but the scars will remain." I looked down embarresed as Ginny put her arm around me.

I heard mione whispering and half shouting at Ron. But my mind was too foggy to put the random words into a proper sentence. So I couldn't understand what she was saying. But a moment later Ron spoke up.

Ron:"Harry." I looked up at him. "I'm sorry." I smiled lightly and shrugged my shoulders. I knew he'd understood that I meant everything was ok as he smiled lightly. I could still feel all eyes on me. Mum pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head.

Mum:"all of you bed. Leave Harry be. Goodnight dear. I'll keep teddy tonight." I nodded as she kissed my head smiled softly ushered everyone out before hermione fling her arms around my neck.

Mione:"we have to talk about this." She whispered in my ear.

I nodded before mum gently pulled her out too then shut the door. Me and Ginny were alone. We both got into bed and I pulled Ginny into my arms.

Gin:"are you ok?" She asked softly."

Me:"I'm fine gin." I smiled as she looked up at me.

Gin:"Harry you know the shield you conjured before do you think it's part of the power that Dumbeldore was talking about?"

Me:"yes I do think that. You know when I went to the hospital for Neville's parents there were news reporters everywhere and I just thought to myself that I wanted to avoid them and I produced a shield then too."

Gin:"hmmmmm we'll talk about this another time. I want to sleep now."

Me:so do I. Good night gin. I love you."

Gin:"I love you too Harry."

We kissed goodnight and fell into a peaceful sleep.
