Tigerstar's POV

Tigerstar was the first to flash his amber eyes open. He was still curled up in a tight ball beside the Council of Elders, who still had their eyes closed. After a moment the SkyStone's magnificent light began to dim until it was no longer glowing at all. It was then that he noticed the sun beginning to sneak over the tall oak trees. It must be dawn, he thought.

Just as the light disappeared, the four elders darted their eyes open in unison. Tigerstar couldn't help but to jump back, their slightly new appearance had startled him. Their normal eye color had been replaced with an eerie silver color that glowed in the slightest way. Their eyes now carried certain emotions in them- wisdom, hope, power, and promise. It was then that Tigerstar himself felt the first flicker of peace surround him. A plan had been formed at last, and maybe, just maybe, they would all be safe.

"We must hurry back now," Amberear spoke, "I can see the hill that Sky was talking about from here." She flicked her tail towards a seemingly small hill in the distance. Tigerstar nodded along with the other Elders. Without another word they all took off in silence, Tigerstar bringing in the rear. He watched in awe as the four elderly cats walked alongside each other in perfect unison, each pawstep matching the others rhythm.

They soon reached the small area where the former Dark Forest cats had made a temporary camp. A fresh-kill pile was already formed in the center and many cats were sharing tongues. "Everyone! Kits, Apprentices, Warriors, and Elders, we need you to follow us now, immediately!" Onetail spoke with authority. Something about the ton of his voice was very convincing, because each cat stopped what they were doing and began to follow them without any complaint.

The trip to the hill wasn't as long as Tigerstar had originally thought, and to his surprise the hill was much bigger than it had implied from a distance. Tigerstar cleared his throat before launching himself on top of a large tree trunk.

"Attention everyone! The time has come for us to make a decision. We are all tired, weak, without a home, and in desperate need of a solution. What are we to do? Spread out and hope for the best? Absolutely not!" He yowled, eyes glittering before he continued, "I received the answer last night in a dream. This she~cat called Star, also known as Sky, visited me while I was asleep. She told me of a new life we could all have, a simple way for all of us to be happy again. So what is the solution? We must recreate the Clans. I know what your thinking, recreate the clans? That's impossible, each clan is unique in their own way. This too was my thought originally. These new and improved Clans will have different names- EarthClan, FireClan, AirClan, and WaterClan. They will also have customs similar to the Warrior Code but different too. Is everyone with me so far?" He shouted, trying to make his voice loud enough for all cats to hear. Every cat had their eyes fixated on him, some of them looking confused, shocked, scared, and some of them gave him the look that they thought he was just plan crazy. He awkwardly shifted his paws, willing for StarClan-no, SkyClan- to help him.

Do not appear doubtful, it will only add to their skepticism, a voice rang out in his head. Could that be-

Yes, it is I, Sky. Now hold your head higher and explain to them about the Gods and Goddesses. Look at the confidently. They will need someone that can lead them to this new life with certainty. The voice boomed in his head, and he did as he was told.

Okay, but don't leave just yet, he thought. I'm still going to need your help, Star. He took a deep breath before continuing. Well here goes nothing.

By now it was sunhigh and Tigerstar had just finished explaining everything. From the Gods and Goddesses to the Council of Elders to the SkyStone. After answering many, many questions everyone agreed that this would be for the best. It was time for a fresh start.

"Since we have all agreed, it's time that we choose our territories and clan members. I would like to ask the Council of Elders to please step forward and take this from now on." Tigerstar dipped his head in respect towards the four Elders before stepping down from the trunk and retreating to sit by Shimmerfur.

"Greetings to all, my fellow friends. " Starbird smiled friendly to the crowd of felines staring at her. I am Starbird, Chief Elder of WaterClan. WaterClan will be in place for the old RiverClan. Obviously the traits of WaterClan would pertain to those of RiverClan. At this time I would like any cats who would like to join WaterClan as a fully dedicated warrior, apprentice, elder, or queen, to please step forward and stand to the left of me."

For the first few moments no cat stirred. Then Waspheart stepped forward, taking quick steps before sitting down beside Starbird. She smiled at the Chief Elder before focusing her eyes on something in the distance. Just then a wave of cats started coming forward, Cloudeye, Waterbreak, Mousescar, Whiskerpelt, Lightiningstrike, Daisystem, and a few other cats that Tigerstar wasn't familiar with.

"Any more?" Starbird's melodic voice rang out in one final call. "Very well." She dipped her head a returned to the cats that she would now called her clanmates. Just as she sat down beside Waterbreak, Onetail stepped forward.

"I am Onetail, Chief Elder of EarthClan. EarthClan is representing the old ThunderClan. Just as ThunderClan lived in the woods and thrived, we will do so too. Are there any cats that would like to join EarthClan as a fully dedicated warrior, apprentice, elder, or queen? If so, please step forward to the right of me." Onetail finished, his eyes fixated on the crowd in front of him.

Earthstep, Jaggedpath, Leafswirl, Molestripe, Lionpaw, Blossomeye and her kits, as well as many others stepped forward. Once Onetail retreated to his clan, Feathdust trotted forward and repeated the same words the previous two had spoken.

"I am Featherdust, Chief Elder of FireClan. FireClan is representing the old ShadowClan. ShadowClan hunted in the dark pines and flourished in that habitat. At this time I would like any cats who would like to join FireClan as a fully dedicated warrior, apprentice, elder, or queen, to please step forward and stand to the left of me." Her voice rang out clear like a song.

As the other cats were stepping forward, Tigerstar began to ponder. Should he join FireClan? ShadowClan was his last home before the Dark Forest, and he felt that he should go there. But then again, ThunderClan was where he was born and raised. But even his birth-clan held memories that he hoped would never pop back up ever again.

"Is there anybody else?" Featherdust called out, giving him one last opportunity. Tigerstar took a large step forward and nodded to Featherdust, who smiled back. This was his choice. He would be a member of FireClan. He began to ponder about hunting in his new territory, what the camp would look like, who would be the first kits born in the nursery. Man, he had really missed Clan life!

While he was lost in his thoughts he hadn't realize that Featherdust had stepped down and Amberear and begun to speak. "I am Amberear, Chief Elder of AirClan. I am assuming that those of you remaining are intending to stay with AirClan, however I will proceed anyway. If any warrior, apprentice, elder, or queen would like to be a fully dedicated member of AirClan, please step forward and stand to my right." Amberear's deep voice was slightly raspy, but still clear all the same. The remaining cats in the clearing stepped forward to stand beside Amberear.

"Is everyone sure of the clan they have chosen? No second thoughts? Once you joined the clan you have chosen, there is no going back!" Onetail yowled, trying to make his soft voice audible. No cat moved a whisker. "Then it's settled. EarthClan will take the territory just to the right of here, where the woodland and forest are." Onetail nodded at each of the other Chiefs, signaling for someone else to speak.

"WaterClan will the the marshy area, where the large pond is." Starbird spoke. "And FireClan will take the deep pine forest beside WaterClan." Featherdust nodded. "AirClan will stay here, on the open moorland where the hills roam." Amberear finished.

"Let us depart now!" Featherdust called out, "We will each meet at the SkyStone in two days time, bringing our Clan's leader and Medicine Cat with us. Farewell! It is time for the Clan's to reign again!" The elderly she~cat yowled.

And with that, the four clans were each off to find their new camp. The place they would now call home.
