Featherdust's P.O.V.

"Follow me over here!" Featherdust called out to her new clanmates. They had been traveling for almost an hour, and everyone's weak bodies were tiring quickly. "We won't be walking much longer, Sky has shown me the path to our camp that has already been prepared for us." They continued to walk for a few short minuets until they reach a small ledge.

"Here," Featherdust smiled as they looked below. The ledge that the group of cats were sitting on was surronded by a large canopy of trees. This greatly resembled ThunderClan's high rock in the old forest. The ledge had a series of smaller ledges below it, resembling a few stairs in a way. The clearing was well protected with a bramble barrier on two sides and a border of tall bushes on the other two. The new camp provided plenty of coverage from enemies but still allowed them to see in the distance. Many spaces had the makings of dens, but some work would be necessary.

"The great goddess Sky has so generously prepared us a camp. The day is late, but there are still some very important matters to take place. First we need to all decided on a Leader, Deputy, and Medicine Cat. After that, a hunting party needs to be organized." Featherdust addressed, trotting down to the clearing. She flicked her tail to signal for the others to follow.

"Sky has left it up to us to decide on the high rank position. Is there any cat who has had previous Medicine Cat experience?" Featherdust asked, her eyes meeting every clanmates. For a few moments no cat moved, until finally Spottedheart stepped forward.

"I-I was a Medicine Cat in my...past life." She spoke awkwardly. "I would gladly return to the position, however, if the Clan would have me." She smiled once more before stepping back and nodding to Featherdust.

"If there is anyone who has an objection or another cat would like to volunteer, please say so now." Featherdust gazed confidently at the group of clanmates. After a few moments when no cat had spoken an objection, Featherdust continued on, "Very well. Spottedheart, please step forward beside me." She ordered.

Spottedheart did as she was told, her eyes beaming with excitement. "Warriors of SkyClan, I present to you this apprentice. She has chosen the life of Medicine Cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance to your will. Spottedheart, do you except?" Featherdust smiled at the glowing she~cat, awaiting her reply.

"Yes, Featherdust, I accept. " Spottedheart agreed, her heart nearly beating out of her chest with excitement.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I deem you as full Medicine Cat of FireClan." Featherdust yowled as the clan joined in, "Spottedheart! Spottedheart! Spottedheart!" She flicked her tail, signaling for her to return to her seat before continuing.

"Next matter of business is we need to determine the leader of FireClan. The great goddess of the Clans, Sky, has requested that Tigerstar lead the FireClan. Tigerstar, do you accept?" Feathertail asked the tom with questioning eyes.

Tigerstar took a deep breath before replying, "Featherdust. While I was alive in the past life, I betrayed now only my birth clan but all the clans as well. How could you, or any of our FireClan clanmates trust me to lead again? I appreciate the offer, but I must decline. I am in now way fit to lead a clan as mighty as ours." He dipped his head in respect, his eyes never meeting Featherdust.

Featherdust's eyes widened at his reply. He declined? How could this be? "Very well, " she continued on without missing a beat, "but I will have to request that you take the position as deputy. "She narrowed her eyes in a way that meant business. Tigerstar simply nodded his head in reply.

"Is there any cat who would like to volunteer as leader?" Featherdust meowed, her eyes scanning everyone.

"I want to volunteer Firestorm!" A voice suddenly shouted from the back. It was Spiderwhip. "Firestorm is young but wise, a dedicated warrior, powerful fighter, and strong hunter. I believe he would be an amazing leader!" Her smiled, his words genuine. Firestorm was Spiderwhip's brother, but the words were true all the same.

"Firestorm, the words spoken by Spiderwhip are true. Do you accept the postion as leader, prepared to fight and protect your Clan until death?" Featherdust questioned the young tom. He would be a great leader, she thought.

"I do. Thank you for the opportunity." He meowed proudly.

"Then by the powers of SkyClan, I deem you Leader of FireClan!" She yowled. "Firestorm, Tigerstar, and Spottedheart, please meet me below the High Rock immediately. Spiderwhip, please organize a hunting patrol. I wouldn't go too far away, borders haven't been established yet but it's best to play safe. " She meowed curtly before trotting over to below the High Rock where the other three cats were waiting.

Featherdust paused a moment, her smile touching everyone of the cats hearts. "Congratulations on your new roles in FireClan. Firestorm, we will be traveling tomorrow night to the SkyStone to where you will receive your nine lives. Spottedheart, you too will accompany us there. Tigerstar, while we are away it will your duty to keep the Clan in tact, making sure patrols are carried on as well as other deputy activities. Right now we need to focus on building the dens and reconstructing the clan. Firestorm, you are now in charge. Starting now you will need to take control of the camp construction. Spottedheart, once the patrol returns I will take you out into the territory to find herbs. We will need a plentiful supply to treat our clanmates. Is everyone clear with what we are doing?"

All three cats nodded their heads. "Perfect. Now lets get to work!" Featherdust beamed. She only hoped that they could pull it together. It wouldn't be long before the other clans were rivals again...
