While An was drinking the blood that the ninken bought over, the rest of his family and friends, mainly his core family members were in panic. It has been a week already, after the operation that Kazuhiko managed to salvage what has remained behind. It has been a week and Kazuhiko knew that he would not able to hide this secret from the core members , as well as the elders for long. They needed to return to their own rightful habitat, as the coldness of the mountain would not aid the vampire's recovery. He took out the Tsuki which was hanging on the wall, above the bedboard. He has not seen the shikigami, which was odd as the vampire was remained unconscious. He spoke out the ancient spell that only the blacksmith who made the kata and the assistants of the Sasaki clan would have known of. He demanded the shikigami to make his presence.

A tired silver haired shikigami appeared slowly, forming his usual shape pixel by pixel, by An's bed. "Kazuhiko," he addressed softly, "I'm at your service."

"What had happened?" Kazuhiko asked with a hint of tremble in his voice. He has never seen the shikigami to be so weak.

Tsuki tightened his lips as he made his body less transparent. "He is in another world, a parallel universe. I managed to form a body for him as he fell, but it also used up my energy as I am not his katana."

He turned and brushed the silver threads off An's cheek. "He would be back soon," he murmured. "How he could let us go so easily…" he sighed.

Kazuhiko dropped himself into the chair that he stood up from and sighed in a small relief. He then was stunned by the intruder, who now standing at the balcony door, leaning against it in the most leisurely, yet attractive manner. It was no one else, but the Fallen Angel himself.

The Dark Angel pulled a soft grin, not the cold, pretentious that his monster was trying to copy but oddly, a relatively warm grin.

"How's our sleeping beauty doning?" The Angel began, "I am surprised that you have not figured it out. Thought you would have noticed by now, Kauzhiko- kun," he continued as he waved off the shikigami. "The chain that wrapped around An's heart. The marvelous work that was done by the well known Rikudo-Sennin himself."

"I aware of the chains as the first time I met An. I felt something there, but never knew that there were so many of them, almost making An-chan's heart out of Iron, a cold blooded metal pump."

"That's the purpose, don't you see?" The Fallen angel approached the sleeping vampire, standing on the other side of the bed. "An-chan," he whispered, "as well as you two, did not belong here, in this world." He placed his large balm on the vampire's abdomen, smoothing his own desire down, keeping it intact. He rubbed the flat flash lovingly as like mother calming her unborn child in the womb. "Death can only bring him to the other world is the most noticeable sign. No dead can escape from the system, not even a vampire who has almost denied from entering the system." He added, "the man aware of it, before An-chan did, which made him the true reason to be so legendary. He casted spells that even An-chan would have not dream of, to wrap An's heart with chain, so that he would not in love with anyone else, but mainly with Sennin himself." He then looked at Kazuhiko, Madara and Kakashi, "but he mistaken the way that An-chan behave, didn't he?"

Kazuhiko did not comment on the question that was floating among them, while Madara sneaked. He grabbed Tobirama's hand tightly and whispered softly by his ears. Kakashi did not comment either but simply rolled his eyes weakly.

"We have to take An-nii-san home," the younger silver hair vampire stated to concluded. ignoring the Angel. "What can we do, kazu-nii-san?"

"That the reason for me to summon Tsuki-san out," kazuhiko replied dryly. "People, even most of our clansman could not differentiate them. If Tsuki go back with us, as An-chan, people would have believe that we have managed successfully. And that, with the presence of Tobirama-kun, I think some would have got distracted."

The ex-Nidaime sneaked, but say nothing, only he nodded softly in agreement.

"So…" the blond sat by the younger silver hair vampire, "what about me? Shall I go back to Konoha now? Since Shikamaru said jiisan wants me to go back for the next mission."

"No need," the older lover replied as he stretch his arms. He only feet better the last two days, but his body was felt bit stiff and weak. He never felt so hollow before, not even when Naruto passed away, or maybe he was, but he just was not sure which was the worst. "You're staying, Naruto." He rolled his head to relax his neck. "I have sent Neji to the Hokage. Since it's about vampire hunting, Neji would be the most suitable candidate, let alongside that he is one of our own to hunt down the traitors."

"So An-chan has introduced the idea of ANBU into your clan…" Tobirama raised his brow, as he asked the younger vampire. "When I was away.'

"We always have similar job roles, but I think nii-san strengthened it into a unit after he has given a second thought of the idea of an ANBU unit."

"That's true," the dryad shrugged. "But it did not apply to Konoha, as after all, we are priest, not killers."

As the only core member in the room, Tenzo nodded in agreement. "The nature of our unit was nothing alike to the priest, especially in the modern time. If I have to comment on any units that we have encountered, then I would only say that the shinobi group in the far East meet the style that we are executing."

"It was created because of the leader of the clan was lazy, as he used to be the only one who carry the task," the Fallen Angel countered, not pleased by the fact that the rest ignored him. He would expect a different reaction from the vampire assistant, after all, it would be painfully heart-breaking if he was told that the vampire that he has in love with for centuries, would never have respond to him the same way in this world. He thought he would understand the man, as he has experienced the same thing day by day. The thought of Michael would never have been in love with him torn him apart. The darkness was growing in him again, as his monster echoed inside the sleeping vampire. He took a deep breathe as he knew that it was almost the end of this show.

Author's Note

Can't believe it has been another year. I was planning to update yesterday, but at the end, instead of updating here, I decided to spend my birthday reading random books that I want to read for long. XD

This is an other buffer chapter, hope this solve some of the breadcrumbs that I have dropped as the story continues.

See you all next time.
