Once again time travelled left the mansion, only after a short stay, to the Konoha Church. Kazuhiko went along, but Kakashi and Naruto both agreed that there was something wrong, something has stirred up the harmony between the older pair, after they visited the Uzumaki. Yet, they were not certain why.

Once they reached the village gate, Naruto introduced Kakashi to his friends and schoolmates as the older pair had meetings with the leader of the Unit. Asuma said nothing much as he saw the desire when he paid his visit to the young man as he was crossing the Fire country with his latest protege, Gai was unfashionably silent for an odd minute, but then accepted the fact that his student was dating a vampire for life. On the other hand, Iruka, the blond's unspoken guardian, was stunned. After all he wasn't the one who went out-field. He stayed in the village half of his life and he needed time for him to accept that his boy has grown and that he has fallen in love with a male vampire.

"Iruka- sensei," Gai spoke, after seeing the pair left the ramen stall, unable to convince the young teacher. "Do you want to have a drink with us after we settle the bill? It's not just YOUTH that I mentioned but I think we should share some of our views in the sake bar that Asuma-sensei likes?"

As mentioned, Asuma nodded softly as he took out a cigarette from the silver box. "If it helps you to settle your feeling, Iruka-sensei," he agreed. "It isn't easy, but years of field work makes us feel somewhat differently. I know you have bad impression of the vampires, especially when some have committed unspeakable crimes, but yet, there are some odd, I would say, but friendly ones."

"Hai," Iruka answered. It was not some secret that his parents were killed in mission by a large group on low rank vampires; and hence that was where he got the scar from. It would be a lie that if he held no grudge, but as a teacher, he always told his students that there were always exceptions. He met Sasaki Hatake Kakashi, also he knew that the vampire was a Hatake before the Sandaime, but it didn't mean that he would trust the vampire, just because he was a Hatake. It was illogical to do so, especially for the good for his student. He wondered how the two other teachers accepted without much hesitation. Even if Hatake managed to smooth him, what about the assistant? Who Naruto called him as ji-san? He aware that Naruto inherited some ancient clan's blood, but a blood traitor would be not trustworthy. Nonetheless, he followed the two older teacher to the bar and sat into the small room that Asuma claimed it would be his favourite place in the village.

Gai was rather quiet by his standard, after he held a kekkai over the room as soon as the waitress placed their drinks on the small table between them. "So Asuma, fancy to tell me what you know?"

"Of course, that's the purpose," he lighted the second cigarette after meal. "I don't know much the old man has told I know why even though the old man pretended that he wasn't convinced, I am ensure that he would. He just has to play it up to other units that Konoha is not as friendly to the Sasaki as other are speculating. I know that Iruka-sensei, you aware the Kakashi-san is a Hatake, but that's nothing compare to what I saw. Last time when Kuruma was here, I saw the assistant tagged along when my old man was at Naruto's cell. I was stunned that when I saw the true colour of the assistant."

"What kind of true colour is that, Asuma. How's it possible," Gai countered inpaitently.

"I know Naruto would be from an ancient clan, but we have no blond like him for long," Iruka added. "He hasn't got the Uzumaki red either, I tried to figure it out, when Sandaime only told me he was from an ancient clan. The closest match would be Yondaime, but I thought Kushina-san never give birth to any before the unfortunate passing…"

"That's why it was kept secret. The last time I saw the late Kushina-san, she was on her way to hospital, to Tsunade-sama, that means she was pregnant. After seeing the assistant's true face, I know what the name Naruto has inherited. It was, rather, shocking that I haven't seen the correlation between the boy and our late Yondaime."

"Yondaime?!" Gai stood up. "You certain, Asuma?"

"Hai, Naruto is Yondaime's son, member of the Namikaze."

"Namikaze…" Iruka murmured. "Wait, so you're saying the assistant is Namikaze?"

"The Namikaze that you teach in history class every year," Asuma dropped the words.

"What," the brunette hold his breathe. "What," he repeated.

"That's why I don't think there would be issue with Naruto staying with the Sasaki as long as he wants to. I overheard that the assistant, Namikaze Kazuhiko, as he was called years ago, that he made the promised to the clan head, his oniisan, that he would take care of part of Namikaze's wealth, and so apparently, Naruto would able to pay off his expenses even if he leave the Unit. But seems that the Sasaki leader didn't find any issue for Naruto's stay in our unit until he reaches middle age. It was partly because of Hatake wants to be part of the unit like what he meant to train for before the legend Shiroi Kiba was killed during the battle with Medusa. Hence it was why I decide to support Naruto. It isn't that easy to fall in love together at the same time and that the arrangement that the Sasaki is proposing is reasonable. As sensei, as a mentor, and I guess, as a friend, I would be taking his side. And since my old man didn't say much, I guess it would be better if Naruto get support from all 3 of us, especially you, Iruka sensei, you practically raise him up on your own. You're the closest to him when he was young."

"I would consider it," Iruka remained in his hesitation. "Hotoni, Asuma sensei," he assured.

"No need to think much, Iruka sensei. FOR PASSION AND LOVE, Naruto would have my full support as long as he is still in love with the vampire."

And with Iruka's support. by the end of the seventh day, Sandaime agreed to let the Sasaki to take Naruto away to form a team with Kakashi. They waited for two more days before they departed in the evening. An, who was wearing his navy coat that was decorated with the clan crest, standing under the sun set with Kazuhiko and Hiruzen at the gate of the village where Konoha Church located. The younger pair stood oppositely, with their face facing the village,. Kakashi was wearing similar cloak in lighter shade of azure, covering his new white sword that An made personally, with the skills that Sakumo taught.

"Jii-san," the blond addressed the Hokage and the Assistant, "An-san," he said, "don't worry, I am sure Kakashi and I are capable to handle the tasks that you have assigned to us. Right, Kakashi?"

"Maa… Naruto, I don't think they are concerned at all, just possibly not going to use to have us away from them for too long. Since I was a boy, I have been sticking up to niisan, acting like their third shadow."

"That's right," An grinned, "from the little baby that I first met in your father's arms, to the fully grown. Seems like you really have tagged around, Kashi-kun."

"Ma… okaa-sama," Kakashi countered, "it's time for the young boy to have his own family with the person that he loves right?"

"Yeah yea," the vampire replied, staring at the assistant who was on the edge of burst out his laughs. "off you go boys."

The silence Hokage nodded softly, finally broke his silent, "Naruto, well," he said, "I am relying on you to take care of the issues. For the Church."

"Hai, jii-san. Leave it to me dattebyo. Asuma sensei said he is heading to the same direction, I think we'll meet up in the next town."

The sun finally set, sending the last ray of the warm crimson light. The pair turned away from the gate and left the others behind. An sighed softly as the remaining tattoo on the young vampire's neck diminished. His task here is done and he could not wait to hear from them about their journeys later on. Compare to the last two lives, he saw the prolonged and contented life path lies ahead of the young pair. This time, he would not see the death of neither of them as they would be under the Sasaki's protection. They would live happily and ever after, as he would so believe.

Darkness occurred as An felt his heart was squashed by the metal chain that tied around his heart. He fell unexpectedly as Kazuhiko caught him, just right managed. "Kazu…" But, within a split second, the whole world went dark.

Author's Note

If you decide not to borther with what happen to An, then technically the story of Kakashi the vampire and Naruto the priest ends here, where they would together eliminate those who threaten other people, no matter they are vampires or humans. The only reason that An and Sandaime would agree is that afterall Kakashi was a priest and it was the deal so that Naruto could join Kakashi later on as a part of Sasaki later on when he is around 40. Considering vampire, especially vampire like Kakashi is stronger than most of the priest, Konoha church would gain a valuable manpower and that Naruto's skills would be improved under the guidance of Kazuhiko.

Anyway, as mentioned last chapter, almost 3 years ago, I have started to upload the story here and hence I am planning to end exactly on the same date. So please bare with me.

As always, reviews appreciated.
