Chapter 15: The Trials of Master Zik pt1

Seanzilla: Hello minna. Just wanted to bring ya another chapter of AR, and say something. To those who're waiting for the next chapter of Digital Schooling, don't worry. It's in the works. Same thing with the next chapter of Digi-ponies and The Next Decade. Now then...I don't own anything in this story, nor the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Ben 10 series, or the Blazblue series. I do though own Haseo Yukimaru Sakurai while GammaTron owns Roll Cyber Sakurai.

Ben groaned as he began to gain conciousness, using his hand to block the bright sunlight as he sat up.

"Man...what happened?" He groaned as he rubbed his head, having a sudden headache, "And why do I have a hangover? I don't drink."

"Ugh..." a voice groaned, making Ben turn to see Tails and Sonic getting up, regaining conciousness as well as the latter groaned, "Anyone catch the number of that tank that hit us?"

"Tank? It felt like a dinosaur just stomped us over and over..." Tails groaned as he rubbed his sore head before he noticed something, "...Where are the girls and Yacker?"

"Huh?!" Sonic and Ben blinked when they noticed that the girls and Wisp were missing.

"Ah crap! Where are they?!" Sonic gulped as he began to look around the area.

"..I have a feeling Eggman is behind this," Ben frowned, still angry at the egg-shaped doctor.

"Heh, that would be true young man..if I hadn't already tested the fat oaf, who had failed his trails miserably," a new voice spoke, catching Ben, Sonic, and Tails' attention as they looked for the source of the voice, "Up here."

The three males looked up at a nearby cliff to see an old looking Zeti standing on the edge while on top of a wooden staff, the Zeti in a meditative stance.

"Zeti!" Tails gasped as he and Sonic got into a defensive stance while Ben got ready to activate the Omnitrix.

"Relax...I'm not here to fight you," The old Zeti stated as he jumped off his staff before gripping the bottom, "I am Master Zik, and I wish to test you three."

"..Where are the girls?" Ben demanded, glaring at the Zeti.

"And why were we knocked out?" Sonic added.

"Patience...I was just getting to that," Zik replied before motioning his staff to something, "Look at the base of that coconut tree over to your left."

The human and two Mobians blinked a bit at that as they turned to the left to see a small, piece of fruit laying below a coconut tree.

"...Hold on," Tails spoke as he walked over and picked the piece up before walking back over, "Isn't this the same fruit you found last night, Sonic?'

"...Huh. It is," Sonic noted as he looked at it, "But what does that have to do wi...?"Before he could finish his sentence, his, Ben, and Tails eyes widened in realization, remembering the events of last night.

"Whoo(hic!)hoo!" Sonic whooped as he spun in place a bit, in a drunken stupor as he took a bite of a fruit with light violet, tan, and light red squiggly lines on it, "I'm...ze best!"

"Tee hee..I drews a horsey," Roll giggled drukingly as she played connect the dots with the stars in the night sky, an unconcious Yacker laying next to her.

"All these squares make a circle...all these squares make a circle..." Tails repeated as he sat on the sand, seeing nothing but square, stone tiles in his view before he turned to Sonic, "Sonic! I need you to tell me if I can leave Knothole!"

"Tails buddy...you can(hic!) l-leave Kno..." Sonic began.

"Bitch, don't tell me what to do!" Tails snapped before he continued to repeated, "All these squares make a circle..all these squares make a circle..."

"...Uh...Where are Makoto and Tsubaki?" Ben asked, slowly moving his slightly bitten fruit back after seeing what it did to his Mobian friends.

"I th-(hic!)-think dey went over zere..." Sonic slurred a bit as he pointed to a small cave not too far from the campsite.

"I see..." Ben noted as he got up, rather wobbingly, "I th-think I'll go and check on them."

"You (hic!)...do that man..." Sonic said before he plopped on the ground.

Ben nodded slightly as he walked over to the cave Sonic mentioned, holding his head a little, 'Why do I feel drunk? I only took a small bite of that fruit...'

"Ooh~ Ts-Tsubaki-chan! You naughty girl."

"Says the Beastkin that's wearing a really revealing outfit~"

Ben lost his slight train of thought as he held his back against the wall next to the cave entrance.

"And yet you're the one groping me for once~"

"Hai~"

A heavy blush began to form on Ben's face as he listened in a bit, unintentionally moving his head closer to take a peek.

"You know I'm so mad at you, letting Mai get your first kiss, i wanted it~!" Tsubaki whined, making Makoto giggle.

"Who said that was my first kiss~?"

"Ooh~?"

"I'm a naughty girl Tsu..ba..ki..chan~" she said seductively as Ben started to hear passionate kissing.

By the time he unconciously moved his head to see inside, his entre face went a beet red when he saw both Makoto and Tsubaki(both girls slightly undressed with Makoto missing her top), making out. In a matter of seconds, Ben was sent flying back via blood rocketing out of his nose before he ended up back at the campsite, knocked out.

"...I hope that was a dream," Ben gulped, his entire face a beet red.

"What?" Sonic asked.

"You don't want to know...'

"Well it can be as bad as…" Sonic began when he paled, "Oh god...Sally's gonna murder me if I did what i think I did!"

"...Why?"

"There we go!" Sonic muttered drunkingly with a tied up and also drunk Roll, "Now..l(hic)-lets have..so…" he then fell flat on his butt, laughing drukingly like an idiot.

"I can't feel my hands and my legs!" Roll laughed as well before hearing Tails screaming about something.

"I hate Scourge! I hate Eggman! I hate Zeti, I hate Sonic somedays, I want Fiona back (maybe mind control her), and I want my parents to tuck me in!" The twin-tailed fox exclaimed as he plopped on the ground, now completely knocked out.

"So let's agree, never eat anything that's not cooked again." Sonic spoke, wanting to forget last night.

"Agreed," Ben and Tails noted.

"Ahem," the three turned to see Zik standing not too far from them, holding a similar fruit from last night in his hands, "Too clarify what happened to you and your female companions, you had eaten a fruit only meant for Zeti. When a Mobian or human consumes them, it puts them in a druken stupor and(in cases with some females) puts them in a state of euphoria."

"..."

"..Mmm~" Makoto and Tsubaki groaned in the sleep as they awoke.

"...Tsubaki?"

"Yes Makoto?"

"..Why're we tied up..and why am I missing my top and you're missing some clothes?"

"...And why does my…" she then got a closer look. "Why are you wearing my panties?"

"Huh?!" Makoto gawked as she looked down to see she was wearing her friends white panties, despite being tied up with Tsubaki and a unconcious Roll, "..."

"...You're taking responbility..." Tsubaki frowned.

"WHAT?!" Makoto gawked before she winced from the massive hangover she had.

"...and we confess to Ben at the same time, and get him to want us both."

"...wait..what do you mean 'we?'" Makoto repeated in confusion.

'Uh...n-nothing! I think I'm still a bit drunk!" Tsubaki yelped as she turned her head away, a blush on her face, 'Wh...why did I say that? I...I like Jin!...or..or do I?' she then winced a bit, her head throbbing, 'It must've been that damn fruit talking...darn it Sonic!'

"A...anyway," Ben cleared his throat as the blush died down before he glared at Zik, "You better tell us where the girls are right now."

"I would, but it would defeat the purpose of this test," Zik replied, confusing the three.

"Huh? What test?" Sonic blinked.

"As I said before, I wish to test you three," Zik stated before motioning to a small cove, "Beyond that cove over there, you will face three test. As for what these test are, you'll have to see for yourselves."

Ben, Sonic, and Tails didn't say anything as Zik vanished just as they blinked.

"When you complete these three test, I will free your companions, and the fat one," Zik's voice added.

"...Should we trust him?" Tails asked his friends.

"No...but if we want to find and rescue the girls(and unfortunately Eggman), we'll have to take these test," Ben stated.

"Well...I'm up for saving the girls and all, but Eggman? No thanks," Sonic scoffed, earning a frown from Ben, "...What?"

"Sonic..I hate Eggman as much as you do, but we can't leave him in the hands of the Zeti," the Omnitrix wielder stated.

"...Ugh, fine," Sonic groaned, "But when we rescue Baldy Mcnose hair, we're interogating him until he tells us how to change Sally back to normal, got it?"

"Got it," Ben nodded as he, Sonic, and Tails began to walk, heading towards the cove Zik mentioned.

"Any luck, Makoto?" Tsubaki asked as the Beastkin was trying to free them and roll from their bindings.

"Al...most...ugh! No luck," Makoto sighed as she plopped back down, making Tsubaki and Roll(who was awake by this point, but had a slight haedache) sit down as well, "These ropes are pretty sturdy."

"Mou...I hope Yacker-kun's okay," Roll hoped, worry evident in her voice.

"Hey! Can you keep it down?! I...oh great," a voice groaned, making the three turn to see Eggman frowning at them, the fat doctor hanging from a tree while inside a cage, "You three again?"

"Mou...why're you here, Eggman-baka?!" Makoto groaned.

"That's none of your business, you bushy tailed idiot!" Eggman snapped, "So shut your mouth!"

"...You got caught, didn't you?"

"...I said shut up!" Eggman snapped as he turned away from them, "Ugh! I've had the worst week ever! First sonic and that brat make me lose my shell, then the Zeti take control of my machines, then Zik has me take all those stupid challenges, failing said challenged, and now I'm stuck with you three bimbos!"

"Oi!" Makoto and Roll snapped while Tsubaki frowned.

"You're lucky me and Roll-chan are tied up, Eggbutt!" Makoto growled.

"Oh please, even if I had my machines, what can you three do?" Eggman scoffed, "All I see right now is a girl who shouldn't be here, a half breed freak Mobian, and a mutant squirrel girl."

'..Oh no...' Tsubaki paled mentally when she noticed Makoto gaining a dark aura of anger.

"...What did you just call us, teme?" Roll frowned, her left eye twitching like mad.

"I said I called..." Eggman began before a pair of rocks barely passed his head and went through the side of the moss covered cliff behind him, "..."

"...Say it again..." Makoto growled as she and Roll were using their tails to hold up a pair of rocks, "We double dare you...mother fucker."

"..Y..you don't scare..." Eggman began with a lie, though the cold sweat on his face said otherwise.

"If I were you Eggman...I'd stay quiet or apologize," Tsubaki warned him.

"..I..I don't have to listen to you! But...I don't like the way they're looking at me, so I'll just turn around," Eggman said as he turned his back to them, "B..but not because you told me too!"

"...He says the 'M' or 'F word, toss a rock at his fatass," Makoto whispered to Roll, the two still glaring at Eggman.

"Hai,"Roll nodded.

Meanwhile, with Ben and the others, they stood before a beach-like area filled with puddles of water..or what they assumed were puddles.

"This must be the first test," Ben noted.

"...You know, I kinda figured it would be something big and scary," Sonic admitted before Tails picked up three nearby coconuts and tossed them.

The first coconut was sent flying via a scorching hot geyser spurting out one of the puddles, the second one falling into another before it sank, and the last one was eaten in one gulp by a robotic piranha.

"You were saying, Sonic? Tails said to the gawking hedgehog.

"...Okay..I stand corrected," Sonic spoke as he shook the surprised look off, "Alright, any plans?"

"Hmm...well, telling by how high that geyser went, flying over is out of the question," Tails noted as another geyser of water rose up.

"Yeah...and I'm not risking turning into Armadrillo or any of my other heavy aliens," Ben added, recalling how fast that last coconut sank.

"Which means if we want to pass through here, we'll have to be careful with our steps and watch out for those robo-piranha," Sonic guessed, "Alright. Let's do this then. The faster we get through this first test, the faster we rescue the girls."

"Yeah," Tails and Ben nodded.

With that, the three began to step forward before carefully walking through the 'puddle' infested area, stepping on the pieces of land that wasn't covered in water. However, as they walked through it, it started to become harder and harder as the pieces of land not covered in water were shrinking with each step.

"I really hope we're almost done with this thing," sonic groaned as he was on the tip of his toes to make sure he wouldn't hit the water, "I'm not the kind of guy who likes to go super slow."

"Don't worry Sonic, we're...al..most..." Ben began before paling a bit.

"..What?"

"Uh...Sonic?" Tails spoke, making the hedgehog turn his head and looked over the twin-tailed fox' head, seeing a large body of water seperating the group from dry land.

"..Well..that's a bit disheartening," Sonic gulped a bit.

"That's not all," Ben spoke, catching the two Mobians' attention as he pointed forward, "Look."

Sonic and Tails looked ahead, squinting their eyes a bit before they widened. On the other side, hanging from a cage over a pit of robo-piranha, was Yacker, Orbot, and Cubot's head, the latter now orange with some black stripes and was fast asleep. What was worse was there was a 4 minute timer next to the cage, with the timer at the one minute mark.

"...We need to hurry and get to them, fast," Ben stated.

"How? Swim across? Because I don't do to well with water," Sonic said.

"Really?" Ben blinked, "You didn't seem to mind going to the beach when we were in that other Zone."

"Yeah...because I didn't have to go in the water," Sonic replied.

"..r...Right," Ben sweatdropped at that.

"There has to be someway we can cross over in time," Tails spoke, trying to figure out how to cross, "If we had Extreme Gear with us, we could fly over and dodge anything that'll pop out of the water. But I don't want to risk calling the Tornado and Gale, seeing as how the Zeti can control machines."

"...Maybe we don't need it," Ben spoke as he activated the Omnitrix and stopped on the image for Jetstream, "I can turn into Jetstream and carry both of you across."

"Hmm...sounds plausible. I mean, Jetstream is really fast, much like Sonic is on land," Tails noted as he pondered on the idea a bit, "...okay. Let's try it."

"Got it," Ben nodded as prepared to press down on the Omnitrix before...

"Wait!" Tails shouted, stopping him, "Try pressing down on it softly, Ben."

"Huh? Why?" Ben blinked.

"I've been thinking...everytime you activate the Omnitrix, you usually don't get the alien you intend to turn into, and that's most likely because you've been slamming down on it hard," Tails explained, "So maybe if you try pressing down on it not so roughly, you'll get the alien you'll want."

"...I'm sorry Tails, but that kinda sounds stupid. I mean, pressing softly on it isn't gonna..." Ben began as he pressed down on the Omnitrix symbol, turning him into the actual alien he wanted, "..."

"You were saying?" Tails said with his arms crossed, a small grin on his face.

"..You win this time fox boy," Jetstream frowned a bit as he reached over and grabbed both Tails and Sonic, "Now hold on tight dudes, because this ride's going to be wild."

"...Please. I've dealt with wild rides be-woah!" Sonic yelped when Jetstream took off in a blur.

If one could see Jetstream's mouth, they could see it was grinning wildly as the Mecharoid was flying over the water in high speeds, Tails screaming in his left arm while Sonic was cheering a bit in the other.

Various things tried to stop Jetstream in his path, ranging from geysers, robo-piranha, to robotic sharks with...*sweatdrops*laserbeams attached to their heads.

"...Where does egghead get these ideas for robots? The reject factory?" Jetstream sweatdropped as he flew upwards to make a pair of robo-piranha hit eachother.

"Most likely, yeah," Sonic replied as he kicked a robo-shark back, "But some of his robots can be dangerous at times while some are pretty stupid."

"Like those Eggpawns of his?"

"Egg-xactly," Sonic joked.

"Ha! Egg puns," Jet stream laughed as he landed on dry land, dropping Tails and Sonic, "Thank you for riding the awesome Jetsream airlines. No need to thank me. for giving ya an awesome experience."

"R...right.." Tails whispered, his head fur blown way back as he shook his head, returning it to normal as Jetstream turned back into Ben while Sonic immediately grabbed the cage just as the timer reached zero, letting Yacker, Orbot, and Cubot out,the former immediately floating next to Sonic and hugging his head.

"Hey hey now. I'm glad to see ya too, Yacker," Sonic chuckled a bit as Yacker let his head go.

"Cubot, wake up. We've been saved," Orbot tried to wake his companion, who snorted a bit in his sleep.

"Tell them to come back in 5 minutes..I'm sleeping..." Cubot yawned, "Wake me up when lasagna is involved."

"..is..he alright?" Ben couldn't help but ask to orb shaped bot.

"Yes...but you see, due to his voice chip being damaged, he tends to go through different personalities," Orbot explained, "We even try putting in different voice chips to see if he'll revert back to his normal voice, but we get the same result."

"I see...maybe Tails could fix it up for ya," Ben offered.

"That would be nice, but I highly doubt the doctor would enjoy one of his arch-enemies touching one of his creations," Orbot sighed.

Ben couldn't help but sigh as well. He knew how dangerous Eggman can be, but the man was full of himself, and saw nobody except Sonic as a threat.

"Okay..." Sonic spoke as Yacker rested on his head, "One test down, and two to go. Which one was next, Tails?"

"Sight, I believe," Tails replied.

"Oh dear..." Orbot spoke, catching the group's attention, "I would advice being careful with that one. When doctor Robotnik attempted it after barely passing the first test, he started acting funny when he came into contact with that mist."

"Huh? what mist?" Sonic blinked.

"You'll see soon enough," was all Orbot replied.

"..r..right," Sonic said as he looked at Ben and Tails, "Let's go. The sooner we rescue the girls and..ugh, Eggman, the faster we can defeat the Deadly Six and Leave this place."

"Got it."

"...Grr...where the heck is Sonic?!" Eggman snapped in his cage, "He should be here by now!"

"Give him time...plus, you do realize Ben and..." Makoto began.

"Shut it! Sonic's the only one I see as a threat, so don't even mentioned that two tailed brat or your boyfriend!"

"...H...he's not my boyfriend!" Makoto denied, though the blush on her face said otherwise.

"OH? So he's..." Eggman began.

"Just stop right there...you're giving me a head with the whole 'Sonic is a bigger threat than anybody else' speech," a new, familiar voice spoke, making Eggman look down to see a certain female echidna look up at him.

"..You!" Eggman growled as he had his face against the bottom of the cage, "You have a lot of nerve to show your face to me, traitor!"

"Hey, you brought this upon yourself, fatass," Lien-Da stated before looking at the tied-up girls, "Good news, you're boyfriends just past the first of Ziks test. Bad news..." she paused before grinning darkly, "They're about to take the second test."

"...Why's that bad?" Roll couldn't help but ask, glaring a bit at the echidna.

"Well...let's just say its the one Eggman failed miserably at," Lien-Da replied as she turned away from them and began to leave, "Oh, and one last thing, Zik maybe old..but he's not to be taken lightly."

The girls stayed quiet as they watched Lien-Da leave the area.

"..Oi, Eggman," Makoto spoke, catching said fat doctor's attention, "What's so bad about that second test she mentioned?"

"..The mist," Eggman replied, making the three girls blink, "The mist in that second test messes with your mind, makes you see things that aren't there."

"...I know I'm gonig to regret asking, but do you have any ideas which of your machines can create such a mist?" Tsubaki asked.

"Tch! Like I'm going to answer that," Eggman scoffed before he began to ponder a bit, "Then again...the only machiens I've created that could do that were...oh crap."

"Eh? What's wrong?" Roll asked, seeing Eggman sweat nervously.

"I didn't think Lien-Da would reactivate those," the fat doctor paled, "I knew it was a bad idea to create them!"

"What're you talking about? What's making you act so scared?" Makoto demanded to know.

"..the Siren Bots."

Back with Ben and the others, they've arrived in a rocky area covered in mist, a few bit of water being the barely seen inside it.

"What's the point of this test? I can barely see a thing," Sonic stated as they walked forward.

"Same here, but let's try and stick together so we don't end up losing each other," Ben told the hedgehog, moving a bit of fog away from his face.

"Yeah. And..." Tails began before he barely notice something blur by, "Huh? What was that?"

"What was what?" Sonic asked when another blur zipped by within the fog.

"There! It went by us again!" Tails yelled.

"..we're not alone..." Ben frowned as he was prepared to activate the Omnitrix.

"Oh dear...it's them again," Orbot gulped as he and Yacker hugged each other in fear, the former shaking.

"Huh? Who's..." Tails began.

"Tails~"

Tails eyes widened in shock when he heard that voice. He knew it all too well. He slowly looked to the left to see a rather developed female Mobian red fox appear within the fog, wearing a bright orange and white jumpsuit that hugged her figure.

"F...Fiona..." the twin-tailed kitsune whispered.

"Tails...I've missed you so much~" Fiona purred, unzipping the top of her suit a bit to show some of her cleavage.

"Heh heh..." Tails chuckled a bit, a goofy love-struck look on his face.

"Huh?"Sonic blinked, seeing nothing in the direction Tails was face, "..uh..Tails? Are you alri..."

"Oh Sonic~"

"...Sally?" Sonic gasped as he turned around to see a de-roboticized Sally within the fog, the princess wearing a light blue harem girl outfit.

"I've been waiting for you...and guess what?" 'Sally' began as 'Roll' appeared next to her, the latter wearing a light-pink harem girl outfit," They've been waiting as well~"

"Plus..." 'Roll' began as she held out a plate full of chili-dogs, "We have your favorite, Son-ni-kku~"

"..me likey what I see..." Sonic grinned, a goofy lovestruck look on his face as well.

"...What's the matter with you guys?" Ben asked, earning no response from the two Mobians, "...What the hack is wrong with them?"

"..Um...I believe I know," Orbot spoke, catching Ben's attention, "You heard of the mythical monsters Sirens, correct?"

"...Yeah..but why...?" Ben began before he saw where Orbot was going with this, "..Oh crap..." he then began to shake Sonic a bit, "Sonic, snap out of it!"

"Don't worry ladies..I'm coming..." Sonic said in a hypnotized tone as he began to walk slowly towards 'Sally', 'Roll', and 'Mina.'

"Damn it..I lost him..." Ben cursed as he looked at the Omnitrix, "Maybe if I use Terraspin, I can..."

"Oh Ben-kun~"

Ben froze up as he slowly looked ahead to see 'Makoto' and 'Tsubaki' staring at him rather sexually, the former wearing a sexy cheerleader outfit and the latter wearing a sexy french-maid outfit.

'Wait...I..I get Makoto but..why Tsubaki?' Ben thought, trying his best to stay focused.

"Ben-sama~ I'm done with all my chores, and I'm ready to help please you~" 'Tsubaki' smiled seductively.

"Hai...and I'm here to get you ready for the big game~" 'Makoto' purred as she looked at Tsubaki a bit, "Or rather...we're going to help you get ready," she added as she groped one of Tsubaki's covered breast.

"Ooh~ M..Makoto-chan~"

"...okay..this is ho..."Ben began with a goofy grin before he slapped himself, 'No! It's not real!'

"Oh dear..." Orbot gulped, seeing the dazed Sonic and Tails walk into the mist while Ben was struggling not to fall for the illusion.

"...Well...they're gone," Cubot said as he prepared to go back to sleep, "Wake me when we're back in the cage or something."

"You know Sonic..when you said you were going to rescue me..you were right~" 'Sally' smiled, "You're always right~"

"Yeah...I'm always ri..." Sonic began before he realized something, "Hey wait...Sally would never admit that."

In a few moments, 'Sally' and 'Roll,'s' images began to fade before they were replaced by a robotic, fish like monster, who growled as it showed it's razor sharp saw like teeth.

"...Woah boy!" Sonic yelped as he jumped back in time before the machine could bite him. He then quickly looked around to see more of the robotic fish monsters appearing from the mist, crawling slowly towards him and the others, "Uh...Orbot?! I take it these are the ones creating this mist?!"

"Yes. These were an old creation of doctor Robotnik's, the Siren Bots. they would expel a mist that would put you in a hypnotic trance and, depending on the setting, would capture you and take you back to it's master, or...well...let's say the second option isn't pretty," Orbot explained.

'Should've figured ol' eggbutt made these,' Sonic thought before he ran over to the still hypotized Tails and began to shake him, "Snap out of it, Tails! Whoever you're seeing isn't real!"

"Come on over here Tails~I want to give you something~" 'Fiona' cooed as he beckoned the twin-tailed kitsune to come towards 'her'.

"I'm coming..." Tails said as he moved slowly towards hee.

"No you're not!" Sonic yelled as he grabbed Tails'...well, tails and tried to hold him back, "Ben...if you can hear me, we could use some help now!"

'It's not real...it's not...real...' the wielder of the Omnitrix thought as he started to slowly fall to the effects of the Siren Bots' mist.

"Come on Ben-Kun/sama~ we're waiting~" Makoto and Tsubaki purred.

"...yes..." Ben spoke as he began to lower his hands away from his face, "I'll be right there..."

"...Well, he's gone as well. Even if he could use that watch thing of his, it's probably infected with Malware or something," Cubot scoffed, making Ben's eye widen.

"M..Malware..." Ben whispered as(from his POV) Makoto and Tsubaki were temporarily replaced with a large, monsterous looking black and orange alien, making Ben grit his teeth and fist in anger, "Malware..."

-Grr?- the Siren bot that was posing as Makoto and Tsubaki blinked before a flash of green light blinded it for a second, catching the other Siren Bots' attention.

"MALWARE!-!-!-!-!" Humungousaaur roared as he increased to his full height.

-...Uh oh- a Siren Bot paled before Humungousaur's fist smashed it and a few others as he started destroying everything in sight, the giant dinosaur-like alien seeing no one but Malware in his eyes.

"Oh dear!" Orbot gulped as Sonic grabbed him, Cubot, and Yacker in time before a stray boulder could crush them, "What is the matter with your friend there?!"

"I don't know, but I think it had to do with that word Cubot said!" Sonic yelped as he was dodging boulder.

"...$#AAGS!" Yacker glared at the snoozing Cubot before a rock hit the cube shaped bot's head, making him turn back to his normal color..with the addition of three black cables sticking out of his head, kinda like hair.

"Doh! Oh...that hurt," Cubot groaned before he saw the Siren Bots, "..Ahh! Giant fish monsters!"

"GRAAA!"

"AHH! Godzilla's angry midget cousin!" Cubot screamed as he saw Humungousaur continue destroying everything in sight.

"Shut it! I'm trying to think here!" Sonic snapped before thinking, 'Dangit...I need to figure out how to calm Ben down...come on think!'...hoo boy..I'm going to regret this but... "...Hey Tails look!" he yelled, pointing at Humongersaur, "Scourge sent a dinosaur to attack us!"

"...Scourge…" Tails repeated, stopping in his step as he turned to see Humungousaur, who(from Tails' POV) looked like a gigantic dark green hedgehog in a biker jacket, "...Scourge!-!-!-!-!"

"...You sure this'll work?" Orbot whispered to Sonic as Tails charged at Humungousaur in a blind rage.

"Hey, I just need them distracted while I deal with what making them crazy."

"..didn't I just tell you the Siren Bots were causing it?"

"And I just said I'll deal with what making them crazy!" Sonic stated as he began to think, 'Alright...need to figure out how to deal with what's making them crazy...Orbot said those Siren Bots Eggbutt made can create a mist that...wait..the mist!" "Yacker! Drill!"

Yacker quickly saluted before declaring, "DRILL!"

Once he transformed into his Drill Wisp form, Yacker went into Sonic, turning him into yellow energy as it formed into a drill. He then shot up into the air, the 'drill' causing the mist to disperse.

"Raah!" Humungousaur roared as he was about to smash the charging Tails before both of them stopped, the rage filled look on their faces disappearing just as he changed back into Ben, "..."

"Fiona? Where'd Fiona go? Fiona!" Tails shouted, making Sonic blink.

"...Sorry about this Tails but…" Sonic began as he slapped the twin-tailed kitsune, "Fiona's not here. You were under the effects of that mist those Siren Bots were making!"

"..wait..so...the Fiona I saw..wasn't real?" Tails asked.

"Yeah...sorry buddy..." Sonic sighed.

"...When I find out who created those robots..." Tails began with a growl, pulling out a red and yellow orange arm blaster from his hammer-space and fired an energy sphere at the canyon wall, destroying part of it.

"..." Sonic blinked a bit before he slowly moved back from the angered fox, making a mental note not to tell him that Eggman was the one who created the Siren bots.

"Man..what happened?" Ben groaned as he held his head.

"You got hit with that mist man," Sonic replied.

"I remember that but...when it hit me, all I could see was..." Ben paused as a heavy blush formed on his face, recalling the choice of clothing 'Makoto' and 'Tsubaki' wore.

"Was what?"

"N..nothing," Ben replied as he shook his head a bit, getting rid of the blush, "But...after that, everything just went...blank."

"That's because..." Cubot began before Orbot put a hand over his mouth.

"I don't think it's wise to say that word around him, Cubot," Orbot whispered to his cube-shaped friend, recalling how Ben snapped when Cubot said' Malware' while he was under the effects of the mist.

"Hoo boy...so far, these test don't feel like test at all," Sonic sighed, "If you ask me, they're more like traps."

"..Actually, I think they were test," Ben spoke, catching Sonic attention.

"I agree," Tails nodded, finally calmed down a while ago, "I mean, even though we were going slow and took careful steps until the last part, the first test...well, tested how fast we could go and rescue Yacker, Cubot, and Orbot without triggering the traps."

"..And the second test?"

"...Most likely, it was to see if we can tell what was really there and what wasn't there," Ben guessed.

"..I can believe that. I mean, when that mist those Siren Bots expelled affected my, I saw Sallly...along with Roll," Sonic replied, muttering that last part so the others wouldn't hear him, "And if there's one thing I know about Sal, it's that she hates to admit that I'm right most of the time."

"...That's kinda true," Tails noted.

"Plus, he did stop you two before you could..." Orbot began before Sonic grabbed him and Cubot, the hedgehog holding his hand over the orb-shaped bot's mouth.

"Uh, shouldn't we hurry and finish that last test so we could free the girls and Eggman? Who knows what those Zeti are doing to them," Sonic said with a semi-nervous smile.

"...Good idea. Let's hurry and go," Ben nodded as he and Tails began to walk through the now mistless area, Sonic slowly following behind them.

"Ix-nay on what happened while they were zoned out, Okay? I don't want them to hear how they almost destroyed each other. Same goes for you, Cubot," Sonic whispered to Orbot and Cubot, the hedgehog not wanting to see his two friends act like that again.

"..Good point/fair enough," Orbot and Cubot nodded.

Unaware to the group, a familiar pair of eyes were watching them leave before the eyes dissapeared back into the shadows.

"I've returned from testing the blue one and his allies," Zik stated as he rejoined his fellow Zeti back at Eggman's former base, "They're more resourceful than I thought. They show potential, especially the boy if he can learn to master the creatures he transforms into."

"Who cares about them?" Zommom scoffed as he munched on a donut, holding a huge bag of them, "Now that I'm free, I wanna squeeze Eggman until he pops!"

"...And eat him, I suppose," Zik added with a small frown, wiping a bit of Zommom's spit from his face.

"Well...yeah," Zommom nodded as he ate another donut.

"There are better ways to make him suffer," Zavok spoke, getting his fellow Zeti's attention.

"..But more delicious?" Zommom asked.

"No," Zavok replied before a dark grin grew on his face, "What would you say if I told you we could destroy Eggman's world and use it's energy to make ourselves unbelievably powerful?"

"...Well, I'd say I'd taught you well," Zik chuckled a bit.

"Yes...you have. But I didn't think of this alone," Zavok stated before he turned to Lien-Da, "Lien-Da?"

"Yes," the female echidna nodded before she motioned to the machine behind Zavok, "My former employer had made this machine to suck the energy from Mobius so he could power up his machines and my troops. He only used 5 out of 40% to power up some of the machines he gave Zommom and Zazz. So..." she paused as a dark grin grew on her face, "Imagine how much power you'll all have when you take in more than that."

"...You seem very lenient on seeing your home planet destroyed," Zik noted.

"True...but I've got bigger goals in mind for my Dark Legion," Lien-Da replied, the dark grin still on her face a she activated the machine, which now began to read '40% and rising' with the dome-like image beginning to fill up.

"I see...speaking of your Dark Legion, I have a favor to ask," Zik said to the female Echidna, "For the last part of the test I've giving, I require one of the more powerful of those GrandMasters to deal with teh boy and kitsune while I take on the blue one. Any suggestions?"

"..I got just the one in mind," Lien-Da replied, the dark grin on her face growing a bit.

While the two were discussing, Zavok was looking at another screen, which showed Mobius beginning to grey faster than before, the other screen reading '44%' with the number still rising.

'How ironic. The very thing the fat fool had created to strengthen his troops, will be the cause of his and his home world's destruction,' the red Zeti thought with a dark laugh.

"Help me! Professor Kokonoe" a Chibi-style Omake.

Starring: Professor Kokonoe, Nicole

The curtain lifted, revealing something of a dark unlit lab…Said lab being somewhat messy. Then a spotlight sparked to life, revealing a fairly young adult catgirl with a slim body, wearing a large scientist like jacket with abnormally long sleeves that end up looking like paws, with cuts made in them allowing her slender arms to slip through, red pants with two long pink tails with white tips coming from the back, and high-heeled sandals. Her hair was pink, tied in a style consisting of a long ponytail backing up longer tufts resembling large cat ears which tend to overshadow her actual cat ears. Her eyes were a golden-amber with visible bags under them, possibly due to over-working, and she was also wearing glasses. With a certain elegancy, she began to speak.

"Hello lost children. I am Professor Kokonoe, lord and master of the Sector Seven laboratory," She paused to push her glasses back into place briefly, and then began to speak again, "…Well, OK, we aren't in the lab at the moment. This place can sort of be temporarily moved into the Boundary. Well, simply put, it's a mysterious room. A mysterious room where you can do anything you want. To be honest, it's a paradise for all those sad, little children who couldn't make it to the true ending. A sort of Avalon. If you're one of those nutbars who's all 'I don't need help,' or 'I want to unlock hidden stuff,' or 'I'll just look for a flowchart online,' then you can piss off."

She proceeded to sigh.

"Anyway, my job here more or less is to do three things every five chapters. First: Answer common questions that I believe most people are asking. Second: To do a little re-cap of what happened in the past five chapters for you idiots who decide to skip them to get to the good parts in later chapters. And finally, give out supporting information to further your understanding of the terms of BlazBlue and Ben 10," Kokonoe proceeded to glare at you, "One thing I would like to make clear now, is that none of the actions in this segment are considered cannon to the story, regardless of how crazy, funny, or even lovey-dovey it is. If I get one message asking about if this was cannon or not, I'm castrating the sender of said message with a cattle prod and a rusty knife!"

Kokonoe proceeded to sigh once more. It was rather repetitive for her at that point. She began to speak yet again to you, the reader.

"Very well. Now that that's out of the way, lost children of the day…you may enter," She ordered, and suddenly the whole lab lit up and Kokonoe took a few steps back.

As if on cue, a familiar swirl of data appeared before Nicole appeared in the room.

"Huh? Where am I? I was supposed to be checking things up with the city, but i ended up here..wherever here is," the digital lynx said to herself.

"..Huh. About time we get someone smart in here," Kokonoe noted, catching Nicole's attention as she turned to face her.

"A human and cat hybrid?" the lynx blinked for a moment, "..Um, you wouldn't happen to know Makoto Nanaya, do you miss...?"

"Kokonoe. And you could say that, yes," Kokonoe replied, "And as for this place...well, I'll give you teh short abridged version. We reply to question, we recap what happened in the last five chapters, and we give additional info to finish things off. Got all that?"

"I believe so, yes."

"Good. Then let's get started."

QUESTIONS

""Okay. Let's start with Questions we've got in Reviews and PMs. So far..." Kokonoe looked over at the 'IN' Box and frowned, "Well…Again, not many probably have watched/played all three series."

"Let's start with A5L's questions then," Nicole advised.

"...While it sounds tempting, I don't want Tager or Lambda going apeshit crazy and destroying everything in sight," Kokonoe stated after reading the first question before reading the second, "...Again, easy. Hack Eggman's computers and use a program to control all his machines and sic them on him."

"..." Nicole blinked as she slowly moved away from the cat-girl.

"As for your third question A5L, the author's probably going to ask a friend of his if he could use some of his characters in this story as well," Kokonoe replied before her left eye began to twitch violently after reading the last two, "..Again, ignoring those last questions before I nuke A5L's house."

"...moving on. Here's the last few, and they're from jackthehedgehog. But considering how many there are, we'll answer a few and save the others for another time," Nicole spoke before shuddering after reading one of the questions, "Trust me..you don't want to meet Robotnik's mother."

"...As much as I hate to admit it since it works on me as well...yes. Catnip affects Kaka people as well," Koknoe admitted with a small, embarrassing blush.

"...The only time I've seen Sonic have stomach trouble involving chili-dogs was when he accidentally ate a bad one that was in the fridge for a month,"Nicole stated after reading one last question, "We had to get his stomach pumped because he was throwing up so violently."

RE-CAP

"Now it's time for the re-cap portion. Tager? i..oh wait..that's right..I sent him on a mission," Kokonoe sweat dropped before clearing her throat, "Anyway..moving onto the re-cap. Basically, the first half of this arc is pretty much how the Sonic: Lost World game started, but with a few additions, a few being Ben, Makoto, and Tsubaki."

"Yes. But shortly after they left, things started to change...everything was becoming dull, grey, and lifeless," Nicole added.

"You can thank Eggman's latest machine for that," Kokonoe replied with a small frown, "Anyway, the 'boss battle's for each two chapters leading up to this point involved Ben beating Zazz and Zommom first, than Sonic beating said Zeti in their second encounter. Speaking of Zazz, while Sonic was fighting that ape-shit crazy Zeti, Ben fought against Zavok, the Leader of the Deadly Six and lost...terribly at that too."

"Oh my..." Nicole gasped.

"Yeah..he pratically crushed him," Kokonoe added, "Anyway, last two things. In chapter 13, Ben and Makoto ended up getting separated from Sonic and the others and had to spend the night together, and they ate a fruit similar..no..it's not similar. It's the freakin' Paupu Fruit from the Kingdom Hearts series! Which means(if ya hadn't read the latest chapter of Azure Side Stories. if not, Spoiler alert) they'll end up together."

"..Uh..miss Kokonoe? that last change you mentioned?" Nicole spoke.

"Huh? Oh right. Anyway, this...you know what. we don't need to do a recap for this chapter. The people who read this already know what's going on."

ADDITIONAL INFO

"First off, the damn author is lazy and uncreative! Reason? Freaking Jetstream is Falcon's Light Powered form from the Power Stone anime!" Kokonoe exclaimed before sighing, "let's just move on before I get a migraine. Anyway...Mechanauts(a species of aliens that are part of the race Jetstream belongs too), were once organic aliens that seeked to improve themselves better for the ...somewhere along the line while they were upgrading themselves, they've forgot what their old selves look like! ugh..I'd talk more about Mechanauts, and also the Nox Nyctores, but we're running out of time, and I've already got a migraine."

"I see...I'll leave you alone the..." Nicole began.

"Hold on...before you go..." Kokonoe began as a dark gleam appeared in her eye, "I want to test something with you."

"..W...what?"

"Well first..to see if that body really works, and how well you'd react to a future project of mine."

"...I..need an adult?" Nicole sweated nervously a bit.

"I am an adult. Now get over here and let me experiment on those nanites of yours!"

"Kya!" Nicole yelped as she became a swirl of data and left through Kokonoe's computer.

"Oh no you don't!" Kokonoe growled as she began to track the lynx on her computer, "..Damn! She blocked me with four quadruple encrypted firewalls! Fuck...this is gonna take all night. But it'll be worth it when I catch that lynx and examine those nanites she uses!"
