Chapter 17: LUST Sin

Seanzilla: Hey minna...I..got nothing to say...except this. Persona 4 Arena ultimax...one of THE best fighting games I've ever played! I mean holy crap! The people who made the first game have truly outdone themselves! The story mode, the new playable characters, everything's awesome!...except Score Attack mode. I mean, WHY do I have to beat it on Insane in order to unlock a new navigator for the VS Mode with each character?! It's stupid!..though the other option is DLC, but only time I use that is for characters so I can have a full roster.*gets blank stares*...when it comes to fighting games, I do everything I can to make sure I have all the characters unlocked. Ahem..anyway, on to the disclaimer. I don't own anything in this story, nor do I own the Sonic the hedgehog series, Ben 10 series, or Blazblue series. GammaTron owns Roll Cyber Sakurai the Hedgefox while I own Haseo Yukimaru Sakurai and a few OC aliens that appear in this story.

"Brr..." Eggman shivered as the group walked through a snow filled area.

"What's wrong with you?" Sonic asked, noticing the shivering, fat doctor.

"Oh gee...I don't know. Maybe it's because it's freezing cold out here!" Eggman snapped before glaring at Ben, "You, boy!"

"I have a name you know," Ben frowned a bit.

"Whatever! Just..change into one of your fire creatures or something!" Eggman demanded.

"No...I need to keep it charged in case we run into anymore Zeti, " Ben stated.

"Especially if we need to use Ghostfreak," Makoto pointed out, "He's our ace in the hole against those Zeti."

Tsubaki was the only one of them to notice the small flinch Ben had when Makoto mentioned his Ectonurite form.

"I don't care! Change into something too keep me warm!" Eggman demanded before a snow ball hit him in the face, "Alright! Who threw that?!"

Orbot whistled innocently as he was carrying Cubot, a part of his head lifted up and flipped back as a makeshift catapult, behind his back. Cubot grumbled, the yellow on him replaced with red while his optics were gold.

"What is it?" Orbot whispered.

"Ah missed mah target," Cubot informed in a Western accent before glaring over at Sonic, "Th' lousy Blue."

"So..any luck on our position, Tails?" Sonic asked the twin tailed fox, who was looking at his handheld device.

"Can't tell...there's too much snow interfering with the signal," Tails replied as he put his device away.

"Another reason he should change into one of those fire forms of his!" Eggman argued.

"Can it, dirtbag!" Cubot shouted, "Orbot, Ah want you to poison Ivo's next meal."

"I like this personality," Makoto noted as Eggman's eye twitched as he glared down at Cubot.

"Ugh..." Orbot muttered in a sigh.

Roll was about to say something before she stopped in her tracks.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Roll?" Sonic asked as the group looked at the hedgefox.

"...I..I think I smell blood nearby."

"Huh? Blood?" Sonic blinked before Roll ran ahead of the group.

"H...hey! Wait upl!" Makoto called out as the group chased after the hedgefox.

After a while, the group managed to catch up with Roll, who seemed to be frozen on the spot.

"H..hey Roll. What was up with running off li...Roll?" Sonic blinked as he turned to see a fear struck look on her face.

"Wh...What is this...?" she trembled, not once looking away from what she was seeing as Yacker hid in her quills, shaken and scared.

"Oh my..." Orbot gasped out as Eggman's glasses nearly fell off his face in his shock.

"Well Ah'll be..." Cubot whispered.

Before them was a series of sculptures amongst frozen blood. Sonic slowly approached one and his eyes widened.

"These...These are actual Mobians..." Sonic gulped as Orbot floated over to him.

"Indeed. And based on their attire, they were part of the Subzero division of the Dark Egg Legion," Orbot informed.

"Ha! Suck it, Blues!" Cubot declared, seeing that the frozen soldiers were all wearing something blue in their attire.

"Okay, I hate this personality he has," Sonic pointed out.

"I'll try to fix it," Orbot sighed before Sonic whacked Cubot's head.

"Did it," Sonic snorted as Cubot's red turned bronze.

"Eso duele, gilipollas (That hurts, you asshole)," Cubot informed in a monotone voice.

"And now he's speaking some freaky language," Sonic groaned.

"Es española, que azul rata (It is Spanish, you blue rat)."

'...Why do I have a feeling he just called me a rat?' Sonic thought in annoyance, his eye twitching a bit.

Tsubaki approached one of the frozen sculptures and lightly touched one before wincing, pulling her hand back.

"Daijoubu, Tsubaki?" Makoto asked as she walked up to the crimson-red head.

"I am. But...this ice...it isn't normal."

"Por supuesto que no es normal. Se les está cubriendo todo como si estuvieran hechas de hielo (Of course it isn't normal. It is covering them all like they were made from the ice)," Cubot informed.

"Tails, any translations?" Sonic asked.

"No idea what language this is," Tails noted.

"Sounds like Spanish to me," Ben noted.

"What's Spanish?" everyone else asked, causing Ben to facepalm.

"Let...Let's just focus on this, huh?" Ben motioned to the frozen soldiers, where Roll was putting two fingers against the neck of one.

"...No pulse," Roll informed.

"...what did all this?" Sonic whispered.

'...t\This ice...why does it seem familiar?...unless...' Tsubaki pondered until she felt a large amount of killing intent in the area, "What wa…"

"Look out!"

"Eh?" she blinked before Ben pushed her out of the way before a large cutting wave could cut them, the cutting wave creating a large wall of ice that separated them from Sonic and the others, '...Th...that could've killed me...'

"Are you alright?" Ben asked as he helped her up.

"I...I am," Tsubaki nodded before she looked up at the ice wall, "But...what could've...n..nevermind. We need to see if the others are alright."

"Right," Ben nodded as he looked over at the wall and shouted, "Makoto! Sonic! Roll! are you guys okay?!"

"We are!" Sonic's voice answered from the other side, "Though Makoto and Roll are a bit peeved at Cubot right now since he hit his head again, changing his personality to something that...well...let's just say he said something really offensive!"

"...I'll take your word for it," Ben sweatdropped a bit as he turned towards Tsubaki, "Any ideas?"

"Hmm...I'd suggest you'd use Heatblast, but we need to preserve as much of the Omnitrix' energy as possible. So for now, we'll have to find another way around for now."

"Good idea," ben nodded before calling out out the others, "We're gonna try and find another way around! We'll meet up with ya guys soon!"

"Gotcha!" Sonic yelled from the other side of the wall.

With that said, both Ben and Tsubaki began to travel down the direction the cutting wave originated from, hoping to find a way around hte ice wall. Little did the two know, they were being watched.

"Hmm? A machine that runs an entire city?" Zavok blinked at Lien-Da's report.

"That's right. It's all run by an AI program called Nicole."

"But even though she's "locked" away, she and her nanites would still be connected right?" he smirked.

"That's right. But w….oh..I see now," Lien-da smirked darkly, knowing what he was planning.

"Where did the fat one place that transceiver?" Zavok smirked.

"I'll get it for you," Lien-da bowed as she left the room to retrieve said item

"You know it's funny...she's not even aware of what we did to her and her lackies," Zazz snickered as Zavok chuckled as well. "Think she'd still be loyal if she knew?"

"No..I want to continue to give her the illusion she willingly works with us," Zavok replied. "I'll enjoy her face when she awakens from the truth."

"Uh...Zavok?" Zavok turned to Zammon, "What does the 'A' stand for in AI?"

"Artificial."

"Uh-huh...and the 'I?'"

"Intelligence."

"Oh, okay then. ...What does the 'A' stand for again?"

Zavok faceplamed at that. Zazz fell over, laughing. Zammon just tilted his head in confusion.

"Man, that was one tough day, huh?" Shard asked Silver as they walked into Kokonoe's lab.

"Yeah...it was," Silver nodded, almost focusing on the ground.

"Yeah...oh hey, pussycat," Shard waved at Kokonoe before he ducked under a thrown wrench from her, "Have to do better than that."

"I can't wait to get an excuse to take you apart and upgrade you," Kokonoe snarled.

"Yeah like that…" he started before picking up a transmission, "Huh? ...What could…" he started as he shut down for a moment.

"Huh? Shard?" Silver blinked as he waved a hand in front of the motionless robo-hedgehog, "..."

"...Hey bitch," Shard spoke.

"Who are you…?!" Kokonoe started still Shard was in front of her, "..na…"

"Die," he said coldly, blasting a small hole in her stomach.

"Kokonoe!" Silver gasped as the others arrived at the sight.

"What's going on?! We heard...what...the hell?" Kevin's eyes widened, '...Sh..Shard! What the hell man?!"

"My name is Metal Sonic!" he grinned turning his arms into gatling guns, "And you are fucked!"

Gwen immediately pulled up a Mana barrier in time as Shard began to fire at them

"Hahahahaha! I'm gonna enjoy this!" Shard laughed, "Finally! Finally I'm back to being the heartless killing machine I was made to be! I am Metal Sonic!"

"Gwen..what's going on?! Why's Shard acting like that?!" Elias asked.

"I'm not sure...someone or something must be controlling him…" Gwen replied, grunting a bit as she tried to keep the barrier up.

"Or maybe we were fooling ourselves," Kevin spoke up, a frown on his face as he glared at Shard, "Once a killer robot, always a killer robot."

"Hey check this out. I'm firin' mah lazer!" he laughed firing a large energy blast from his mouth breaking the barrier and sending Gwen into a wall. "Ooohh! Bitch went down!"

"Gwen!" Kevin yelled before sending a death glare at Shard, "That's it…" he then placed his hand on the metal floor, absorbing it as his body was covered in the same metal, "You just made my shit-list, buddy!

"Come on, bigman! bring it!" Shard goaded as his visor turn pure red, "I'm gonna eat your heart!"

"Hmm…." Nicole pondered as she and the other freedom fighters(those still conscious) on Mobius awaited Sonic and the others.

"What is it?" Rook asked her.

"I am picking up strange transmissions..." she answered as she looked at the screen.

"Strange transmissions...it might be related to Eggman...try and pinpoint the source."

"Will do…" she started as she did before she shut down, her body slumping.

"...N...Nicole-san?" Haseo spoke, "...d...dai…?"

"..." Nicole soon sat up and glared at Haseo as she formed a huge fist and prepared to slap him away till Rook saved the hedgefox, "...I missed..."

"Nicole, what is going on here?!" Rook called out as he aimed his Proto-Tool at the digital Lynx.

"My name is Zicole, and I'm taking back what's mine!" she grinned evilly, her body flickering between a brown and violet female version of Zavok and her normal self, "This city, this land is my kingdom, and I'll start with revealing everything I've seen. There will be no secrets and no one will be safe…" she turned from them and raised her hands to the sky, "Arise, my city!"

In New Mobitropolis, the city started to shift and turn and...grow...bigger...and bigger...until...it was a huge robot! As it transformed, buildings were forced down into its body or risen up to reveal cables and wires that connected to other cables and wires. A port opened up on the end of a part of it before a hand emerged and clenched tightly. A side of the massive robot extended a pair of cannons pointing behind it before turning 180 degrees counterclockwise to point ahead. A massive pair of cannons formed on the left shoulder as the feet and legs finished forming. A second pair of cannons formed on the right shoulder, staying aimed straight at the sky, before the head soon formed, resembling a metallic copy ofl Zavok's head, the horns replaced with cannons. Most of the towns people that managed to get out in time began to panic as the giant robot began to stand up.

=Zetaplex heeds the call of the Zeti= the machine informed, its voice echoing all over due to its immense size =Objective: Destruction of those who hate Creator. List… Target 1: King Nagus...scanning area…= a purple light came out of its optics and began to scan where the city once stood before stopping on Geoffrey St. John, who was starting to get up from falling off the robot, =Target found. Target 2: Geoffrey St. John. Objective: Eliminate=

"...Oh fuck," St. John gulped as the huge robot created multiple guns from its own hands while aiming the guns it had already formed at the skunk.

"What is that?" Rook gawked as he, Amy(who had managed to regain consciousness), and Haseo saw what was happening outside.

"That's my baby, and he's gonna destroy everything I hate," Zicole smirked.

"..Nicole...why?! Everyone was just getting back to trust you again!"

"...Trust...such a weak word...You all enjoyed me being locked away and, well...this is what happens when you cage a God!" she smirked as she spread out her nanites to make some weapons, "And Sonic's not gonna save any of you this time! Not now! Not ever!"

"Hahahahahaha!" Zavok laughed as the Deadly Six and Lien-Da watched the giant robot wreck the land under them, "Such carnage…"

"Glad you're enjoying this," Lien-Da smirked. "Eggman definitely would be pissing his pants in fear and throwing a fit in jealousy."

"Oh, he hasn't seen anything yet," Zavok smirked, "Oh, we can do so much much more with that city."

"...Why stop with Nicole?" Lien-Da smirked, "Why not go for Tennyson as well?"

"...Explain," Zavok answered as he looked at the female echidna.

"I've seen him use an alien made out of pure machine once... And I saw he's been goofing up in his choices a lot. I think you Zeti have been affecting him."

"Hmm...we only affect technology...so if that watch is some kind of technology then...oh I like you." Zavok smirked.

"We should inform her, no?" Master Zik told Zavok.

"Indeed."

"...Ugh...what's taking that hedgehog so long?" Zeena yawned a bit as she rested on top of a pile of snow, filing her nails a bit, she then blinked as she got a transmission, "...huh...uh huh...really...really...oh...oh...and I can do whatever I wish?"

-Just make sure you bring him back to us-

"Oh I will...after some fun...I need a pet to admire my to die for looks," Zeena smirked a little as she looked at her nails a bit.

-Just hurry it up. We'll make things so much more interesting with him-

"Yeah yeah...but we might have a problem...I ran into the sword boy again."

-Tch! You mean he's still around? ...All right. If Tennyson isn't with Sonic, we'll assume he got caught by that swordsman... if you run into said swordsman...don't engage. I repeat, don't engage-

"I ain't stupid. It would take you at full power to kill him."

"...man...what a..." Zeena began before she heard something nearby.

"Don't tell me we're lost again!" Eggman's voice snapped off-screen.

"Not my fault! Cubot messed with my handheld!" Tails' voice argued.

'...Talk about good timing,' Zeena thought as she lowered herself behind the pile of snow she was on and looked over it a bit, spotting Sonic's group walking into the area, 'I see the blue boy and the fat idiot..but no sign of that Tennyson kid..oh well..might as well have some fun with them.'

"Hey, not my fault that thing has internet access. I wanted to look up something sexy. Gigi.." Cubot began, his head having a large chin.

"I swear if he says 'giggity' or something perverted one more time, I'm throwing him into the nearest mountain!" Makoto yelled in annoyence, "Tails! Can't you..oh I don't know, fix that voice chip of his?!"

"I would, but there's two problems with that. One; my tools are back on the Tornado, and two; Cubot's voice chip was damaged too much for repair," Tails answered before glaring at Eggman, "Especially since it looked like it was built by a five year old!"

"Hey! That was uncalled for!" Eggman argued.

"It's true! Almost every robot you make, you add 'egg' into it's name! It's stupid!"

"It's genius! It's to prove I made it so no one can try and steal it!"

"Oh?" Sonic frowned as he glared at the fat doctor next, "Like how you stole the blueprints to my uncle's Roboticizer and used to enslave the planet?!"

"He does have a point," Orbot pointed out.

"You shut it!" Eggman snapped at the orb shaped bot before turning back to Sonic and Tails, "And I would've succeeded too if it weren't for you and that…!"

"Don't you fucking go there, ya fat fuck!" Sonic growled.

"WHY?! Still mad that I..?!"

"Enough!" Roll shouted as she got between the three, "Honestly. It's like you three are spoiled children!"

"Hey! It's not my fault! Eggman started it!" Sonic yelled.

"I started it?! Tails started it first when he...!" Eggman began before scoffing as he walked forward, "Forget it...I'm heading on ahead."

"Good…" Sonic frowned as he and Tails went the opposite direction, "Tired of looking at your f-woah!"

"Sonic?! Are y-gah!" Tails yelped when he fell into something.

"Sonic! Tails!" Makoto gasped.

"N..nanda?! Wha…?!" Roll began before the sound of Eggman yelp caught her and Makoto's attention as the fat doctor too fell into something.

"What's this hole doing here?! Get me out of…" Eggman's voice began before a set of iron bars appeared over the hole, the 'hole' rising up to reveal it was a cage, "Seriously?!"

"...Roll…" Makoto began as she slowly brought her tonfa out, "I think we have company."

"...Hai...Zeti," Roll added, noticing how scared Yacker was before the Wisp hid inside her.

"Huh...didn't think you could smell me," Zeena's voice scoffed as she leapt up onto the pile of snow she was hiding behind, "But, oh well. Not only did I recapture fatty, but finding out you have a Wisp too? Oh this day can't get any better."

"...What do you mean?" Makoto asked with a slight frown as she and Roll got into a defensive stance.

"That's for me to know…" Zeena began as she pressed her foot against the snow pile, causing large snowmen to appear around the area, "And for you to find out," she then leapt towards one of the snowmen and kicked its head at Makoto and Roll, who rolled out of the way as the head impacted with a few trees, destroying them as said head exploded.

'...Great,' Makoto thought as she and Roll got back up, glaring at bit at Zeena, who was sitting on top of one of the snowmen's head, 'She's got exploding snowmen...' "Be careful Roll. One wrong move, and we'll end up splattered across the snow."

"...H...Hai," Roll nodded,slightly nervous after hearing that as the two got ready for battle.

Meanwhile, with Ben and Tsubaki, the two were busy searching for a way to go around the ice wall. However, the two were uneased as along the way, they noticed broken piles of Badniks and frozen corpses of Dark Egg Legionnaires.

Tsubaki was especially uneased by this. She didn't know why, but the ice the Legionnaires were frozen in felt..familiar to her.

"Tsubaki?"

"Huh?" Tsubaki blinked, losing her train of thought as she turned to face Ben, "Hai?"

"Are you okay? You've been quiet for some time now."

"...I am okay, but…" Tsubaki paused as she stopped t look at a nearby, frozen Legionnaire with a few scattered parts around it, "That ice...something about it feels...familiar to me."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Ben asked as Tsubaki approached the frozen 'statue' before she pressed her finger on it, the crimson red head wincing a bit as she pulled it back.

"When I touched it last, I could feel as if my very soul wa…" Tsubaki began before her eyes widened in realization, 'No...It can't be...th..that should be impo…'

"*GASP*p….leas…." a voice weakly spoke, causing both Ben and Tsubaki to turn to the woods and see a Legionnaire weakly walk out, the right half of his body frozen, "G...get….him...away from me…"

"N...nani?"

"Th...that...that man. He..he's insane! K-kee-!" he began before he was impaled by a pillar of ice that rose from the ground.

"...what ju-?"

"Hishouken (Ice Flying Sword)!"

Ben and Tsubaki barely moved out of the way as a buster-sword made of ice flew past them, crashing into the ice wall.

"Wh..what the hell was that?!"

"I….it's him…" Tsubaki whispered, her eyes widened in shock.

Ben blinked at that before he noticed somebody walking out of the woods the now-dead Legionnaire came out of. The figure was a human, one Tsubaki knew all too well. He was a good-looking and slender young man with short, stylish blond hair and green eyes. He wore the N.O.L Major Uniform Tsubaki had seen on him before with a black turtleneck and leggings under a white Japanese-style garment, white gloves, military boots, and a 'jolting sapphire' colored jacket with a red lining and very long, detached sleeves. In his hands was a long katana with a silver attachment to the green and white hilt/handle, the silver attachment having two silver 'tubes' on the sides and pointed upwards along the blade.

"J...Jin…" Tsubaki whispered in shock.

"That's Jin?!" Ben gawked, earning a small nod from the crimson red head, "H..how did he get here?!"

"I...I don't know…" Tsubaki slowly responded, still shocked to see Jin here until.

"Hold it!" a voice shouted as a few Dark Legionnaires appeared from the trees, aiming their blasters at Jin, "Don't think we'll let you get away with what you've done!"

"...Again with you mutant Beastkin," Jin frowned as he unsheathed his katana and stabbed it into the ground, "Fenrir!"

An ice wolf head twice the size of the Legionnaires erupted from the ground below them, impaling the Legionnaires as their bodies froze within a second of impalement. Ben winced at the senseless brutal slaughter as Tsubaki covered her mouth with a hand in a gasp.

'Mutant Beastkin? Wait...' Ben thought, 'That other me said his Jin called the Mobians that same thing!'

Just as Jin began to resheath his blade, he noticed the two looking at him, mainly Tsubaki.

"Humans?" Jin pondered before noticing Tsubaki, "Tsubaki?"

"J..Jin.." Tsubaki spoke, still shocked from seeing him here, and from the senseless slaughter he did earlier, "H..how did..wh..why are you here?"

"The Imperator requested I exterminate a group of mutated Beastkin in this area," Jin informed, "Commander Hazama conveyed the Imperator's orders to me. I'm unsure how he brought me here, though. But I have my orders."

Tsubaki's eyes widened in a mix of shock and horror when Jin mentioned 'Hazama'. She was about to say something before Ben spoke up.

"Mutated Beastkin? Dude, They're Mobians! There's nothing mutated about them!" Ben yelled before flinching from the cold glare Jin gave him.

"Who are you?" Jin demanded.

"B..Ben Tennyson. And…" Ben began as the frown on Jin's face grew bigger.

"Ben Tennyson?" Jin repeated slowly.

"Yeah. ...Is there a problem with that?" Ben asked, the wielder of the Omnitrix having a really bad feeling about this.

Jin began to tremble. Slowly, he started to laugh. This made both Ben and Tsubaki very unnerved, the former slowly reaching for his Omnitrix.

"To think that I'd beat those 'Plumbers' in finding you," Jin's laugh was evident in his cold voice.

"J-Jin…?" Tsubaki gulped.

"Tsubaki, get away from him!" Jin ordered, his body shaking, "For your crimes against the Hierarchical Cities and the slaughter of ten NOL Branches, you will die, Benjamin Kirby Tennyson."

"Wait, Wha..?!" Ben began in shock before he and Tsubaki barely rolled out of the way of a cutting wave made of ice, "What're you talking about?! I haven't d-"

"Liar!" Jin interrupted, "You match the description that was provided by a surviving witness in the last branch you slaughtered perfectly! Prepare yourself!" the air grew colder almost immediately, "Awaken…" a block of ice resembling a holy cross appeared before him before he shattered it, exposing the blade of his sword and a strong blast of icy winds, "Yukianesa!"

Feeling the killing intent emanating from Jin, Ben quickly activated his Omnitrix and began to search for Heatblast. Tsubaki's push that sent him tumbling away saved him from the oversized arrow made of ice that Jin had sent at him. Unfortunately, the push also made him activate the Omnitrix on its current-selected alien, changing him into Upgrade.

-Upgrade?! Seriously?! I needed Heatblast!-

"Sorry!" Tsubaki apologized.

"Tsubaki, what are you doing?!" Jin demanded, "Have you turned traitor?"

"Listen, Ben hasn't done anything wrong! What you're accusing of isn't true, and impossible! Me and Makoto have been with him all this time, and h-!" Tsubaki began.

"Makoto?! You two are siding with him? A murderer?!" Jin demanded.

-I only see one murderer: you!- Upgrade argued.

"Urusei!" Jin snarled as he glared at the two, "Tsubaki, this is your last chance! Step away from him or else!"

"..." Tsubaki looked between Upgrade and Jin, pursing her lips as an internal conflict went through her mind.

"...Fine. Have it your way, traitor," Jin frowned, "Tsubaki Yayoi, for siding with the criminal; Ben Tennyson, you, along with Makoto Nanaya, are hereby traitors of the N.O.L..and are sentenced to death!"

With that, he held his hand out at Tsubaki. Ice formed before it into a set of five small knives. They shot out at Tsubaki as quick as they formed. She barely summoned her new version of the Izayoi to block the shards with the sun-themed shield. Jin prepared to send an icy slash at her before hopping back from a green laser, making him turn to see that Upgrade had fired it from his lone eye.

-Listen Jin, I didn't do anything wrong! So don't take it out on Tsubaki or Makoto!- Upgrade snapped.

"Urusei! ...I'll destroy you…" Jin began with a growl as he charged at the two, "I'll destroy you both!"

"Jin, please! Get a hold of yourself!" Tsubaki begged as she prepared her weapon

"Ironic: A member of the Zero Squadron abandoning the NOL," Jin coldly stated as he readied his blade.

=Hope you're ready for this!= Upgrade advised as he readied himself for anything.

"Hishouken!" Jin roared as he created another ice buster sword and fired it at the two

Tsubaki blocked the attack with her shield before Upgrade fired another laser from his 'eye,' the attack hitting Jin square in the chest. Jin gasped before a small grin grew on his face as he...began to crack?

'An ice clone? When did…?' Tsubaki began before she barely blocked a strike from the side.

'...Things get so hard?!' Roll mentally cried while she yelped as she rolled away from the attack sent at her.

"Seriously? This is starting to get a bit boring," Zeena admitted with a small yawn as she sent another snowman head at the two, the head exploding upon impact

"Ugh! What is with you Zeti and blowing things up?!" Makoto demanded as she and Roll landed away from the new crater in the ground.

"...Did that blue Zeti ever blow anything up?" Roll asked.

"...Not the time, Roll," Makoto facepalmed as she looked at Roll's knife, "And why aren't you whipping out something with fire in it?"

"Yacker-chan's hiding in Sonikku's quills again," Roll informed.

"Which again, I'm still trapped down here!" Sonic yelled from his cage.

"Yo! Yacker, man up already!" Makoto shouted at the cage.

"I don't think that will work. He's hidden from all the Zeti we've seen so far," Roll noted, "I don't want him to fight if he doesn't want to."

"Ugh..if we don't get his help, we'll…" Makoto began before she saw another of Zeena's 'bombs' heading towards them, this one mainly aiming towards Roll, "Look out!"

"Wh-?" Roll began before Makoto pushed her out of the way, the Beastkin taking the hit as the explosion sent her flying into a few trees, "Makoto-chan!"

"Ah man…!" Sonic growled as he tried to break the cage again, "Come on...Come on! Break already!"

"Makoto-chan!" Roll called out before she dodged another 'bomb' aimed at her.

"So sorry," Zeena yawned, the sarcasm heavy in her voice, "I was aiming for something else."

Roll turned her attention towards the female Zeti and gave her a cold glare, the hedgefox slowly clenching her fist. Zeena looked absolutely bored before smirking. Before Roll could ask her why, Zeena threw a bomb right at Sonic's cage. The blue hedgehog tensed up before a yellow blur moved before the cage before the explosive could hit. Sonic's eyes widened as the smoke cleared, revealing an injured Roll, collapsed to her side with a few injuries on her body.

"Roll!" Sonic shouted.

"Was that it? I figured she'd last a bti longer," Zeena 'yawned' a bit, not even bothering to look at this point as she went back to filing her nails.

Inside Sonic's quills, Yacker peeked out and saw Roll. Inside of the Wisp, something snapped. Yacker floated through the bars of the cage and floated around Roll.

"Oh? So it finally came out," Zeena noted, "Mmm...You look delicious."

"FrEnzY," Yacker spoke out, his voice distorted and deeper.

"Frenzy?" Sonic repeated before yelping as a dark pulse of dark purple energy emitted from Roll once Yacker, who had changed into a rather demonic looking purple wisp with horns on itshead/body, no eye, and a jagged smile, went inside the hedgefox.

"Hmm?" Zeena raised an eyebrow as she saw Roll beginning to stand up, despite the injuries she had.

Purple smoke began to hiss out of her wounds. Those observing it had their eyes widen in shock as the wounds began to heal up. The dark purple energy flared and engulfed her figure, leaving just the outline visible...until the outline began to alter. The outline of Roll gained an additional foot in height as three spikes emerged on the backs of her fists near her knuckles. Eight more fox tails added to her body as her hair went wild. The energy dispersed as Roll fell onto all fours, growling. Her normally sunkissed-blond fur/quills had darkened to a near-black gold coloring while her right arm had turned the same shade of purple the energy had been. Her ribbon was gone, letting her wild hair/quills be free into intimidating spikes. She slowly opened her eyes, revealing they were a glowing white with just a sickly purple slit in both. She held out her right hand and a new sword quickly formed into it. It was a massive 72 inch Greatsword that was five inches wide and tapered at the point. The handle of the blade gave it an additional 21 inches in length, but that alone didn't frighten most of them. The blade was layered in a series of armor made from blades, making the cutting sides of the weapon resemble spikes, all of them a sickly purple/near-dark gold. The guard resembled the head of the strange Wisp minus its mouth, while its limbs and thorn-covered vines were the handle. A purple gem rested between the point where the guard turned into the blade with a black jewel in the center of it shaped to resemble the slit of a demonic eye. Roll let out a low growl, her mouth opening enough to reveal her teeth had grown to the point that two on the sides of her mouth had grown long enough to side out of the sides of her mouth.

"What's huh?" Zeena pondered before a soft cracking noise came from the Greatsword, revealing the blade splitting down the middle to expose rows upon rows of purple razor-sharp fangs and a long, spiked tongue.

"AWOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!-!-!-!" Roll tilted her head back to howl, the howl causing a small shockwave strong enough to blow away the snow from a five kilometer radius of her, before assuming a strange stance with one leg tucked in with the other stretched away, her free hand pressed on the ground with her claws digging into the ground while her sword-holding arm had the blade resting over her shoulders behind her head.

"I...I thought Yacker couldn't go into others aside from you, Sonic," Tails gulped.

"I..I thought so too...until now," Sonic whispered in a mix of shock and a bit of fear while Eggman (who was shaking beyond belief from the aura Roll emanated) held Orbot and Cubot tightly, both bots equally scared

"Ho-hum. So you changed your looks. Whatever," Zeena rolled her eyes.

Roll's blade let out a frenzied roar before Roll charged at Zeena with a snarl, keeping her body close to the ground. Zeena lazily threw five explosives at her only for the blade to move and snatch them right out of the air and devoured them. The purple aura formed over it before it grew five inches taller and two inches wider.

"What? H…" a surprised Zeena began before she was suddenly struck hard in the face by Roll, sending the female Zeti flying back a few feet

Roll snarled as she reassumed her initial stance where Zenna had been, her nine tails lashing out at anything around her. Zeena slowly got up from the spot Roll kicked her too, the female Zeti slowly reaching for the bruise on her face, her entire form trembling

"You bitch," Zeena hissed, Roll's snarl at her being the Hedgefox's only response...not counting the blade's deep, demonic growl, "You….you….you've ruined my face...I...I'll...GRAAAHHH! she roared as she reached her hand down into the snow before pulling out a pair of giant steel wrecking balls with a few spikes on them.

"Roll, get outta…" Sonic began before Roll jumped and swung her blade.

The hedgefox landed behind Zeena, her blade slowly shuffling itself as it slowly chewed. Zeena slowly looked up as she felt something off with her weapons. Her eyes shrunk down to dots as she had nothing above her except for the sky. Roll turned back to her, growling dangerously as her blade doubled in size.

"...Wh...what are you?" Zeena whispered.

"FrEnzY," Roll rasped out, her voice dark and distorted as a faint symbol of sorts formed behind her for a second, Sonic barely managing to make out a circle with multiple Wisps of various shapes while a fox protecting a hedgehog in the center of the circle.

Zeena tried to get away before a ring of dark purple fire surrounded her and Roll, the fire slowly being absorbed into Roll's blade as it doubled in size once more.

"No no please don't cut me again!" Zeena panicking taking out a small white flag and waving it, "I give up okay!?"

Roll just gave a growl in response as she reeled her blade back for a downward slash.

"Roll!" Sonic shouted restraining her, thankful that the initial howl she had released had managed to weaken the bars of his cage enough for him to break out.

"fRenZy!" Roll growled out as she tried to complete her downward slash.

"Roll, listen to me! You are not a killer! I know you. You're kind, sweet, a little slow with phases, and you care for your little brother. Nut you're not a killer! Please don't do this and become someone Haseo would be scare of and someone I'd never want you to be! Stay the way you are, Roll! I love the normal you!"

Roll let out a savage roar before she managed to complete her swing. Zeena shut her eyes, awaiting her demise. Slowly, she didn't feel anything. After a few moments of silence, she opened an eye to see the massive Greatsword was cutting to her left, completely missing her. Glancing behind her, she saw only a crater where a group of large trees had been, the crater looking as if something had actually eaten everything in it. She didn't even try to say anything, she just fled.

'What was that? What was that? What was that?!' Zeena thought, a look of pure terror on her face.

Roll slowly panted as the purple energy covered her once more. It dispersed and she collapsed into his arms in her normal appearance, her swiss army knife falling out of her hands. Yacker came out of her, now a white Wisp with his eye now a swirl.

"Roll, are you alright?" Sonic said still restraining her.

Roll let out a soft moan as she started waking up, "S...Sonikku?" Roll looked around, "The Zeti...Where did she go?"

"Y...You don't remember?" Sonic asked.

"All...All I really remember is that snowman's head being thrown at you and I just...moved," Roll replied.

"...Well, you...you..." Sonic began.

"Ah! Yacker-chan!" Roll yelped as she picked up the knocked-out Wisp, "Oh my. You don't normally turn into this form unless you're exhausted. Did you do something and scared the Zeti off? Oh, wait..." she looked at Sonic, "Yacker-chan's asleep. Did you and Yacker-chan do something?"

"...No...it was…" Sonic sighed, "It was..."

"A brilliant move on Yacker's part!" Eggman interrupted, the last attack managing to break the cages he and Tails were in.

"Oh yes. He used this new Wisp and focused its power into Sonic," Orbot added quickly, "He was strong enough to handle her with ease."

"What are you…" Sonic started till Tails covered his mouth.

"Sonic didn't even notice what Yacker did, even," Tails interrupted the blue hedgehog, "Now come on, Sonic. We need to go get Makoto." with that, he quickly pushed Sonic away from the others, Cubot and Orbot distracting her, "I don't think it's a good idea to tell her, Sonic."

"Well what was I supposed to do? She.." Sonic began before hearing the sound of Makoto groaning.

"Ow...that..hurt," the Squirrel Beastkin winced as she struggling to get up, clutching her arm as blood dripped from her head a bit

"You okay, Makoto?" Tails asked.

"Ugh...My head hurts a lot," Makoto informed.

"Hold on," Tails advised, "It could be a concussion. Don't fall asleep now."

"R-Right," Makoto agreed as she looked out, "Wow. ...What happened here?"

Sonic looked at Tails, who nodded, before he said, "Yacker turned into this weird Lisp…"

"Wisp," the two corrected.

"...That had a mouth instead of an eye and went into her instead of her swiss army knife. So, she transformed into this berserker that was easily beating Zeena with her blade that actually ate the explosives and the giant spiked balls she pulled out of the ground and it kept growing with everything it ate until I stopped her from killing the Zeti and they changed back and now Roll can't remember it at all."

"...I'm sorry. It must be the concussion, but did you say Roll and Yacker, all by themselves, beat that Zeti?" Makoto asked.

"I did...still pretty shocked a-" Sonic began before Tails' handheld went off, the twin-tailed fox pulling it out to see who it was.

"...It's Amy..and she seems really frantic right now," Tails informed.

=Well, this isn't going the way I expected it to be= Upgrade noted as he helped Tsubaki up from their last dodge.

"Can't you change into another form?" Tsubaki asked.

=I've been trying, but every time I try to switch forms, he attacks me!= Upgrade informed as he pointed over at Jin, who was preparing for another attack.

"Muso Senshozan (Mist Spear Piercing Crystal Slash)!"

=Whoa boy!= Upgrade yelped as he and Tsubaki rolled out of the way of Jin, who was riding upon a vehicle-like ice bade =Dude! Again with the ice car?!=

"Fenrir!" Jin roared as he stabbed the ground with his blade, sending another ice wolf head at the two before Upgrade fired a laser at it, causing it to shatter.

=This is seriously getting old!= Upgrade groaned =I really wish I had my Ultimates still...even if they creeped me out at times...=

"..Ben…" Tsubaki spoke up, causing upgrade to look at her, "I'll try and distract Jin, hopefully to give you enough time to transform into something else."

=Got it=

Jin merely frowned as he prepared to charge once more, only for Tsubaki to stand in his way as he blocked a strike from her blade. Upgrade was about to touch his emblem before noticing something in the snow.

"Out of my way, traitor," Jin frowned as he forced his blade down, making it harder for Tsubaki to stay up.

Jin jumped back from a stronger laser blast. The two turned to see a SWATBot, but it's body was different. It seemed to have Upgrade's color scheme and seemed more like a soldier in term's of body shape. The helmet was sleeker with Upgrade's 'eye' in the visor of it. In its hands was a shotgun in the same color scheme and seemed to be fused to his hands.

=Hope you don't mind if I do a little Upgrading to this thing= Upgrade informed before he cocked the shotgun and fired a green laser from both barrels at Jin, who summoned an ice wall to block the attack.

Upgrade cocked it again before firing, shattering the wall. He slowly began to approach and continued to fire, making sure that Jin only made ice walls. Once he was close enough, the shotgun was absorbed into his body and he tackled Jin, forcing the swordsman to drop his blade. The two began to get into a trading of fists until Jin pulled Upgrade into a chokehold. Upgrade reformed his shotgun, but Jin kicked it away.

=Darn it! I lost my shotgun!= Upgrade growled out =Tsubaki, I lost my shotgun! Shotgun, dammit!=

"H-Huh?" Tsubaki blinked twice before noticing upgrade was holding something...and where it was coming from, "Ah."

=Hey. You mind if I ask you something while you're choking the robot?= Upgrade asked, not earning a reply from Jin but went on =Does that look like the upper half of an egg to you or the lower half of an egg to you?=

Turning his head, Jin saw Tsubaki grunt as she was pushing a half-frozen Egg-O-Matic he had frozen earlier towards the nearby cliff. Hearing a click, he looked down to see Upgrade getting out of the SWATBot with its arms and legs gripping Jin tightly...with a cable connecting it to the half-frozen vehicle. Tsubaki gave one last push and it went over the edge. Jin cried out in anger as Tsubaki barely avoided his attempt grab him (the man managing to grab his sword) before he was sent off the cliff. Tsubaki and Upgrade looked over the cliff as Jin fell through a cloud.

=Whew= Upgrade exhaled.

"Whoa whoa whoa! Nicole is doing what?!" Sonic and the group asked as Amy called them, frantic.

-She just turned into some weird persona called Zicole and transformed the city into some giant robot!-

"You're pulling my…" Sonic started till Amy showed the robot...at that time Eggman looked and blinked.

"...I feel immeasurably small right now..." Eggman admitted.

"Haha! You got owned!" Cubot laughed at the fat doctor.

"By a lynx no less," Orbot added.

"Huh…" Sonic blinked twice as he recalled the last time he saw a giant robot that was good at destruction that wasn't made by Eggman, "If she can turn that into a robo-T-Rex, then I'd be worried. Especially if it can breathe plasma hotter than any Mobian or Overlander has been capable of getting it to."

=Sonic, she's trying to kill us! All of us! Even Haseo!=

"Nani?!" Roll gasped as she took the device from Sonic, keeping Yacker in one arm while holding the device with her other, "Is he okay?! please tell me he's alright!"

=Put Sonic or Ben back…= Amy started before hearing a scream, =Rook? Rook?! Rook, no!= at that the screen went staticy as more screaming and Nicole's laughter was heard.

"...We need to get back," Sonic ordered after a moment.

"No, we need to st…" Eggman started till Makoto choked him. "Gah!"

"Look buddy...our friends are in danger...and we need to get back ...NOW!"

"No...it's...the...Zeti...control...won't...fix...till…" he started as he had trouble breathing.

"...Makoto, please let him go," Tails ordered, making the Beastkin frown as she dropped Eggman onto the snow covered ground, "Explain."

"The Zeti have clearly spread their control over machines to the ground. Clearly, they've gotten ahold of Nicole and her city...and, possibly, even to all my Badniks and remaining generals on the ground...and I can bet Lien-Da's the reason behind it," Eggman explained with a frown, "Traitor…"

"...Hold on..you said the Zeti can control machines...and your Legionnaires have cybernetic parts in the,..so wouldn't it be a possibility that she's being controlled as well?" Tails pondered.

"...Possibly," Eggman had to admit, "What's worse she may not be even aware of it and thinking she's acting freely...probably what's happening to Nicole and any other with cybernetic parts acting like...well...people like me under the false pretense it's their free will..."

"...So in short...Nicole doesn't know she's being control," Sonic gawked.

"And no one will be able to prove it since it's not a virus or anything. The Zeti's power is like an hypnosis; no one will be able to prove it was them," Eggman frowned.

"So what can we do?"

"Defeat the Zeti," Eggman answered.

"Sounds like a plan." Sonic agreed, not aware of Tails frowning at how buddy buddy he and Eggman were being as Sonic even help the doctor up, "So, what the first step?"

"We should get to higher ground and scope the area, they probably send out some Badniks with their other comrades...like the emo or the stupid girl."

"...Emo?"

"The next Zeti we'll most likely be facing next," Eggman replied, "Trust me, Sonic, you'll see who he is when you see him. He makes everything boring and depressing. I think I blew that conch on him more often than the others because he would just get on my nerves."

"So just like you?" Sonic asked, earning a giggle from Roll and Makoto.

"Why you..." Eggman started before laughing, "Ok, I walked into that one," he laughed as did Sonic.

"...Are you seriously acting buddy buddy with Eggman, Sonic?" Tails asked with a frown.

"What? Right now, we're all on the same team and we got bigger things to worry about….besides that was a good one."

"It was..." Eggman admitted.

"...Whatever…" Tails sighed as he got up and began to walk off, "Let's go alraedy, teh faster we beat the Zeti, the quicker this alliance will end."

=Are you okay Tsubaki?= Upgrade asked as the two walked away from the cliff.

"..."

=...Tsubaki?=

"...He's...not my friend."

=...Huh?=

"Not anymore…"

=Tsubaki you can't ju…=

"..."

=...You said he acting weird because of that sword=

"I did...but those words he said...were from the real him…"

=Tsubaki...do…= Upgrade began before he started twitching a bit, =Tsu..tsu..stu...su…= Upgrade's shape then started to go wild =* #% #$# !=

"Huh? Ben?" Tsubaki blinked, snapping out of her state as she looked at him in concern, "A...are you o…"

"Hmm...seems he's providing some resistance," a voice said as Tsubaki looked to see the Deadly Six, Zeena trembling as she stayed behind Zavok while frantically looking about.

"You!" Tsubaki frowned as she summoned her weapon.

"Are we really what you should be looking at?" Zavok said as all six raised their hands, "Get her...Zen."

=...Okay, boss=

"Huh?" Tsubaki blinked a bit as she turned around, only to gasp out in pain as Upgrade's enlarged hand grabbed her, "Gah!"

=Oh yeah! Scream for me, sexy!= he cackled as his colors took on a fusion of the Deadly Six, his body also changing to resemble a Zeti, still having one 'eye' instead of two.

"Ben...what's…" Tsubaki gasped out.

=The name is Zen...but when I'm done with you, you'll be calling me 'master!'= Zen grinned as he tightened his grip on her.

"Gah!" Tsubaki cried out in pain from the heavy force on her body

"Now all the pieces are gathered," Master Zik smirked.

"Checkmate!" Zazz laughed insanely.

"Game...over," Zavok finished as Tsubaki screams filled the air.

GT: Ah. There you are. Well, let's get to reading this chapter. *notices we're at the end* ...SZ, did you read this without me?

SZ: Most of it, but...I just left after seeing the end...I..it just…*sniffs* Something's burning.

GT: Dammit! I forgot the eggrolls! They're burning! *runs off* I'll get to your shotgun court martial later!

SZ: 0-o

Mischief:*pokes head in*eh heh...it's never a dull moment here...wonder if GT found the 'special gift' I left for him in th..*hears an explosion*kitchen.

Mischief:*runs out the room, whooping like Curly from the Three stooges*

SZ:*facepalms*ugh...bad enough he shattered the 4th wall in the latest chapter of Younger Gen..It took me a whole week to fix that, damn it!*hears the 4th wall break once more, making my eye twitch violently*..MISCHIEF!
