Val is an Anthromorph, whose home planet, Aviary, had its population annihilated on Lord Frieza's order. She is taken captive by one of his men, slowly intertwining her life and her fate with the others in unexpected ways.

This is story is inspired by the user Chris9724's story on Archive of our own named Afternoon Footsies. There Kefla uses a time ring to go to the past to fight Goku. I warn all readers that his story is only for mature audiences, but you have to read his first in order to understand mine. In my story we explore the concept of "What if Kefla stayed fused in the past with Gohan?"

After losing to Goku in the 23rd Great Fighting Tournament, Piccolo wanders the earth in search of a suitable training ground. His only drive is to become stronger and defeat Son-Goku in their next encounter to take over the world. That afternoon when her husband and son visit Kame House, Chi-Chi decides at the last moment to accompany them, witnessing firsthand the arrival of Raditz and Gohan's kidnapping. Everything that will happen from that moment will make her life take a path not predestined for her. Or, perhaps, it is indeed what it should have been.

Death greets Gohan at the end of the Cell Games, yet instead of passing on to the Otherworld, Whis takes an interest in the young half-saiyan's incredible power and decides to train him as Lord Beerus' successor. With the balance of the universe at stake, Gohan accepts the deity's offer. (AU)
