Cupa's PoV
That night, I couldn't sleep. One, I was thinking about Steve. Two, I was scared of the battle ahead of us, and wondered if all of us would make it. Three, there was loud music coming from Yaebi's room. Sure, I heard about Stephanie finding a keytar and Yaebi was teaching her, but Jeb, did they have to do it so late? I knocked on the wall and shouted.
"Some of us are trying to get some sleep, you know!"
"Sorry. Well, looks like that's it for tonight. Have a good sleep." I heard him say to Stephanie.
"Okay, I will. Thanks so much."
"Thank Notch, I'm so tired I just want to marry by bed." I said to myself as I drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, we all went outside. Sera's amazing looking cart was ready to go. It was a large reinforced metal cart with a drill on the front, and engine on the back, some chests on the side and a rail feeder on the top. It was big enough to hold about five people.
"You think that's good, wait till you see this!" Vanessa rolled out of the garage with a pretty cool looking cart too. It was made of sturdy wood with metal braces holding the sides together, the wheels were metal and the body was shaped like a boat, with slanted sides. It had mining grade headlights on the front, seven gears of transmission and what looked like a really powerful motor in the back. She had also painted black and yellow warning lines all over the bottom of the cart, just above the wheels.
Vanessa smirked. "Mine's better.''
"We'll see." Sera said back. "Let's have a race. First one to the Ender Kingdom wins. Prize is the title of best cart builder."
Rat and the others were surprised. They had never seen Sera act like this before. It was like the heat of competition had gotten the best of her.
"Deal."
"Now the only question is, who goes with who? We all have to get to the Ender Kingdom, so, who takes me, for example?" asked Yaebi.
"Easy. Steph, you're with me. Steph's boyfriend, you too. Other boy, creeper girl, you too. Humans, you go with her, everyone else pick a side.
''We…we're not…what?" Stephanie stuttered as she and Yaebi tried to get rid of this statement from everyone's minds. Steve and I got in the cart, and then they did. Fayruz, Isabella, Arvin and Rat got in Sera's cart. The others chose who to ride with. Cindy, Shara, Crystal and Andr decided to go with us.
"Okay, the race is ten thousand blocks, from here to the Ender Kingdom. Let's get ready… Shara called out.
''Get set…" Vanessa and Sera revved their carts engines as much as possible.
"GO! GO! GO!" She yelled as we took off as faster than a rocket…
