A/N Okay. First of all... words cannot describe how sorry I am for waiting so many months to update this. It's just I had such a bad writer's block, now I have a lot of summer homework for stupid honors classed, my school starts on fricking August 14, and- never mind. Sorry. I'm done with excuses.

I really want to point two things out really cauliflower though.

1. You've probably noticed by now; Ive changed my username from Phinbellafan77 to Stormcloak77. Don't know why. I just felt like it.

2. Fanfiction has a HORRIBLE auto-correct on mobile. Seriously. Every word of this author's note has changed. (I.e. "word" to "woff" then, to "wTed.") Seriously. I don't know what's worse. Fricking to fry tricking, tricking or to Jared, or username to usernacondo. -.-

enjoy... After all this time.

"... Phineas..."

"Yes, Isabella?" he inquired, caught off guard by her timidness.

"Well... It's just..." she began, clearly speaking hesitantly. "Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but..."

"... what is it? You know you can tell me anything."

"Yeah. I know. But this is-this is different."

Phineas, whose entire demeanor had changed from curious to nervous, looked at her questionably. "What is it?" he finally exclaimed.

"Listen. I know this is sudden and all, but..." she began, pausing a bit here, "I- I think we should split up."

Phineas's heart nearly stopped. His jaw dropped, and as he was about to question her, he seemed to lose ability to speak.

She had been staring at him with calculating eyes, but suddenly looked away. "Surely you knew this was coming, Phine-"

He swallowed his pride and began to furiously whisper at her. "What do you mean 'knew this was coming!' I just saved you for crying out loud! I've done everything for you! Doesn't that mean anything?!"

"Of course it does! I appreciate everything you've done, but does that mean I have to be with you for the rest of my life!" she retorted.

"Well-"

"No. It's just- it's just- I think it's in both of our best interests... and Ferb's for-"

"Ferb! I knew it! I knew you had a secret thing going on with hi-"

"WHAT!?" she nearly screamed, but caught herself at the right moment and only whispered it. "Wha- wha-"

As Phineas was about to glare at her and give her a pure look of hurt and anger, he looked up and noticed several hallways forking out. He noticed the many rooms of each hall, as he saw her nearly facing a different one than himself.

"Oh... uh..."

"You jerk!" she whispered half-angry, half-amused as she reached up and have him a slight kiss on the cheek. "I just meant let's go different directions to look for Ferb! And speaking of which what do you mean 'something going on wit-"

Phineas loudly cleared his throat as he scratched the back of his head and his face went bright red. "Oh- um, nothing. ... You go right, and I'll go down this hall." he said, changing the topic as quickly as he could.

Isabella raised an eyebrow while pondering if she should bring this up again later. "Okay then..."

"If anything happens, start screaming. I'm serious. What's a few more assassins if it means I can at least run to your aide-"

"Phineas! I'll be fine. Don't worry."

"... fine. Just promise to meet back here in an hour."

"Right. Good luck, Phineas. And... be careful. Don't do anything outside your limits."

"What limits?" he asked as he ran off.

She sighed, concerned for his safety. "'Something going on with Ferb.' Honestly!" she muttered quietly to herself.

She silently ran back to the guard she had tackled and killed earlier, quickly grabbing his sword and darting back to the corridor Phineas instructed her to take.

Phineas sighed as he made his way down the hall, checking every room as stealthily as he could manage.

'Why did I accuse her of cheating on me with Ferb? God I'm an idiot. She's never going to let that go.'

He checked yet another room to no avail. He was reaching the end of the hall, nearing the torture chambers.

He cringed as he inadvertently opened the door he and Isabella had nearly died in. He didn't even recognize it as that room until he saw the Leader's- Serena's- dead body along with her and Isabella's blood on the ground.

He checked the next few rooms, to no avail. He was about to give up as he opened the last door and saw something truly shocking.

It was- him. Not Ferb, but it was Samuel! Looking exasperated and disappointed, all the while holding a price of rope to his neck, as if considering whether or not to suffocate himself.

...

"SAM! What are you doing!"

The slightly younger man jumped at the sound and immediately looked away in shame.

"Where's Ferb!" Phineas said, wanting to scream, but restraining himself and his newfound anger.

"..."

"Samuel, WHERE. IS. FERB?!"

"... I- I don't know." he answered honestly.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" he asked angrily, running towards Sam and knocking him into the wall. He had suddenly lost all faith in the other man, even though he had believed in him completely just a couple short hours ago. Phineas suddenly became aware that Isabella was right about him. Right from the start.

Sam sharply inhaled, and he told the truth. The complete truth.

He wasn't sure why. He could have easily lied. But he figured, he needed redemption. He had to change. Perhaps- perhaps there was hope.

He just wished they would all forgive him.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed that bit when Phineas thought Isabella was leaving him for Ferb. ^.^

(Darn this auto-correct!)
