A/N Hey again. First of all, yeah, the author's note isn't bolded. I refuse to type this on FanFiction and have to correct auto-correct's stupid "corrections."

Anyways, here's a slight filler chapter that may-or-may-not end up being more than a filler chapter.

So, um, feel free to review.

Enjoy.

Oh gosh, I almost forgot the disclaimer again. I really need to get back into the swing of things... -.-

Disclaimer: I don't own Phineas and Ferb.

The new, young king looked to his wife. "I've come into contact with the assassins again. All hell seems to have broken loose. They're in complete chaos. ... They didn't mention Isabella either."

Ginger rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Of course they didn't. So incapable. Especially for such a reputation."

"Well, I agree. But they did have two assassins break away and help Isab-"

"Do you agree? Sounds to me like your defending them."

"Wha- of course I'm not defending them! Besides, I paid them good money to take care of that bi-"

"So why don't you kill those miserable assassins!"

"..."

"Well?"

"You're right. I'll send guards straight away."

"Speaking of which, where is that miserable previous king?"

"Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you," Baljeet started dominantly, "I've locked him in the dungeons. None of the guards will dare defy me to save him. He seemed pretty shocked though. Kept mumbling something about 'her being right.'"

It wasn't long before Ginger shrieked in laughter and somehow managed to get out, "What an old fool! I can't believe he didn't believe his own daughter when she warned him about us. I actually thought we'd have to kill him to get out of it."

Baljeet shut his eyes and nodded in agreement. It wasn't long before he joined in on her evil laughter.

Phineas loosened his grip on Sam's neck and eventually let him go. Sam panted a bit to catch his breath and immediately walked away from Phineas a bit, keeping his head low.

"So what will you do with me now, Phineas?"

"... well, that depends."

Samuel seemed caught off guard. He glanced up at Phineas for a moment before continuing his shameful stare at his feet. "Depends on what?"

"You can return to the assassins if you want. I'm sure you can make up some lie. They seem desperate for members now. Or you can go back to deciding wether or not you want to live though this. Point is, I'm not killing you. ... You're not worth it." he said lowly as he turned to face the door and began walking out.

Sam winced a bit and froze. That was the second time today someone refused to kill him. But now, he knew what was right. He knew fully that the assassins were horrible people. He could never live with himself if he stayed with them.

...

Truth be told, Sam never wanted to be in the assassins. He had grown up fearing them. He once knew someone who was killed by them. Admirably, he was not close to him, nor had he missed him much. It was his neighbor, Frank. At the time, Sam had only been fourteen. He wasn't very outgoing. Quite the contrary actually, Sam had been a very introverted person, even in young childhood. He kept to himself and was always quiet and reserved.

He always remembered that night. Sam had been awake for whatever reason, lying in his bed trying to fall asleep. Actually, he had just awoken from a nightmare. He was shaking slightly, he decided to stare out his window, which is bed was pressed up against. He noticed a woman, perhaps in her late twenties, who was completely dressed in black. He may not have noticed her if he wasn't paying so much attention to the outdoors, trying to forget his horrifying dream. She seemed to be carrying a small knife, but Sam was sure he had just imagined that. He watched her go to Frank's house, just across the street from his own home. She inspected the free just outside his house, and she began swiftly climbing it. She finally reached the top, and she jumped in the open window. He could barely see her at this point.

Sam had been so tired at the time. He hadn't fully realized what was happening. If he had, he would have at least tried to call the guards.

She jumped out as quickly as she had entered, and she tucked away her now bloody-red knife. Samuel's eyes quickly widened as he abruptly realized what had happened.

He jumped out of his bed and onto the floor, in shock. He almost screamed, but held it in. He, for whatever reason, turned on his light and paced around his room. He looked back out, and saw the woman, the assassin, look back at him. He gulped in fear and ducked behind his bed. He peeked back up and saw her shake her head vigorously, whisper something to herself, and sprint away.

About two years later, Samuel had been approached by the same woman and a man. They claimed to be in an elite group of assassins. One discreet glance a their upper arms confirmed it; the very bottom of the tattoos showed under their sleeves. Samuel froze in shock, or was it fear? Either way, he had apparently froze. For whatever reason, the found an interest in him. That or, they knew he had seen her that one night. They basically gave him two options. Join the assassins or die.

Of course he joined. He valued his own life and did not want to die even to save others. Of course, he had changed since then... kind of.

Sam even got to find out their names. Jason... and Serena.

...

Sam snapped back to reality as Phineas was exiting the room.

"Wait!" he exclaimed.

Phineas turned around and raised an eyebrow in question. "What?" he said impatiently.

"Please. I know you shouldn't even consider this, but please take me with you. I want out. I won't do anything to harm any of you. I'll value your lives above my own and help as much as I can. I'll leave you once we make it out. Then I'll fend completely on my own. Please! I'll-"

"... Fine."

"Ple- wait, what?"

"Fine. But give me your weapons. All of them. We'll protect you until we get out. But that's it. You do anything out of line, and I'll kill you myself. Right then and there." Phineas said shortly as he began confiscating Sam's weapons.

"Now how am I going to explain this to Ferb and Isabella?" he muttered to himself.

So what'd you think, anyone out there who's still reading my story after all this time? Good? Okay? Not-so-good?

Eh. Anyways, not much of a filler chapter. It's actually a bit longer than I expected. Okay, it's a lot longer.

I'm thinking about bringing Serena back in various memories. What would you all think about that?

Oh! And what'd you think of Sam's backstory?

Okay. So uh, thanks and please review.
