Chapter 28

"Did you have the superhero dream again?" June asked as she took her head off James lap and removed her legs from Carlos lap. They were on the plane and Carlos got stuck in the row with June and James. James had the window seat, June in the middle and Carlos on the end. June wanted to lay down and Carlos was asleep, so she figure he wouldn't mind if she put her legs in his lap. But they were landing now so she had to sit up.

"No it was the spy dream." Carlos said. June laid her head on James shoulder and kissed his neck.

"We're almost in London." June said. James turned to look down and her. He gave her a quick peck.

"I know. This is awesome." James said. The plane landed and everyone got off. June held James' hand. Some man ran past them and pushed June into James.

"What the hell man!" June yelled. 3 more men ran after them. James turned June to look at him. He brushed the hair out of her face.

"Just ignore it." James said. June took a deep breath.

"Right. What are we doing now?" June asked. They turned back to the group.

"Well I want to see Parliament." Logan said.

"I want to see the big Farris wheel." Kendall said.

"And save the world." Carlos said, slipping on his shades. June rolled her eyes and pulled the tied belt of her tan pea coat tighter. She brushed off her jeans and shook her legs a little.

"You're all wrong. We are going to the hotel. So get your luggage and let's go." Gustavo said. They walked over and grabbed their bags at the luggage carousal. June saw her bag but made no attempt to grab it.

"James will you get my bag for me?" June asked and batted her eyelashes. He sighed.

"Which one is it?" James asked. June pointed.

"That one, the brown one with all the pretty flowers on it." June said. James picked it up when it came by.

"You are such a girl." James said.

"Oh really? What gave it away?" June asked sarcastically. June took the bag from him and opened the handle to wheel it. "Ugh, Kendall, I wouldn't even use that backpack."

"Hey, a fan gave it to me." Kendall said. June was about to comment on it when they were interrupted by Carlos.

"Did you see that guy! He had a big hammer for a hand!" Carlos said pointing to the door. Everyone looked in that direction and saw nothing.

"I think that long flight messed with your head Carlos." June said, patting the top of his head. They all walked out to the limo and pulled up to the hotel.

"Okay, you guys can say hi, sign a few autographs, and then mingle in the lobby." Kelly read out of her plan book. The boys got out of the limo and June was shocked at the amount of fans that showed up. She didn't know what she should do. She wasn't sure if she should hold James' hand or just walk straight in, ignoring the crowd of fans and meeting the boys inside. James made the decision for her and squeezed her hand and pulled her with him.

James held her hand as he walked up to the fans.

"James! Will you sign this?" A girl said and put her book and pen out. James let go of June's hand and took the book and pen. He scribbled out his signature and handed it back. He sighed a few more autographs, chatting with the fans and taking pictures, while June stood there awkwardly.

"Alright guys, I have to get inside. I can't wait to see you at the show tonight though!" James said. The crowd cheered and James took June's hand again and headed inside.

"I feel so awkward standing next to you like that, with all those fans staring me down like sharks watching a fish before they attack." June said. James laughed.

"I want you to be with me as much as possible for these last 2 days." James said.

"Aww, you know just what to say." June said and gave him a quick kiss.

"Okay, we are going to check you in, and you can look around the lobby." Kelly said. June and James looked around the lobby, looking at all the art. They walked upstairs to where Kendall and Logan were.

"Hey boys." June said. They turned.

"Hey June and James." Logan said. "Look at the art on the pot down here." They all bent over and looked at it. They stood back up.

"You know, if I ever have an art class, this place would be helpful." June said.

"Or if there was ever a murder." Kendall said looking on the bottom floor. Then he looked at June. "That is what you do right?"

"Kind of. I compare DNA from murders and crimes and stuff so I guess." June said.

"I think they finished checking in. Let's go back down stairs." James said. They all walked down stairs and met with Kelly, Gustavo, Mama Knight, Katie, and Carlos

"Okay so the rooms are Big Time Rush in one room and the girls in the other." Kelly said.

"Why can't June be with us?" James asked.

"I think we all know the answer to that." June laughed. Kelly started to hand out room keys but the all fell. Everyone bent down and picked them up. They walked to the boys room first. They ran in and set there bags down on a bed and started jumping.

"Boys! Stop it!" June yelled. They stopped.

"Thank you June. Now boys, the tour director is going to be here soon so don't mess anything up. June, go with the girls to your room." Gustavo said. June gave James a kiss.

"I'll be back in a little bit to go out." June said.

"No you won't. The boys are going to stay here until sound check at 5." Gustavo said. June sighed.

"Okay Gustavo." June said. She walked into the hallway, behind Gustavo and made a motion with her hand that said "be back in 5" and waved. She dragged her bag down the hall to her room with Katie and Mama Knight.

"Hey guys." June said as she walked into the room.

"Hi June." Katie said.

"So what are you guys doing today?" June asked.

"Well Katie and I met a Duke in the lobby and we are going to get tea with him." Mama Knight said.

"Alright Mama Knight!" June said and held her hand out for a high five. Mama Knight rolled her eyes, but still high fived her.

"So what are you doing today June?" Katie asked.

"James and I are going out on the town, maybe with the boys." June said.

"Alright, well if they're with you then I won't have to worry about them. See you later." Mama Knight said and her and Katie left. June looked threw her bag and pulled out a dress to change into, because it was a lot warmer than she thought it was going to be. She changed into a cute little dress that had a white lace top, with a brown belt and a green bottom with white polka dots. She put on some brown suede lace up wedges. June slipped her small wallet and phone into the pockets of the dress and left the room. She walked down the room to the boys room, and saw the doors were open. She looked at it in confusion and then walked into the room. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. The room was torn apart and there were sheets and books everywhere. It was a complete mess. And there was no one there. June looked around, but couldn't find any evidence of where they had gone. She looked out the open window but still couldn't see anything. She sighed angrily. The boys made a big mess and then left without her.

June walked down to the lobby to look for them. No where. She took out her phone and called James.

"Hey you've reached James Diamond. I can't come to the phone now, so leave a message." James' voice played. June sighed.

"Hey James. Where are you? I can't believe you ditched me! We were supposed to spend the day together. And now you don't even answer my call. And if you can't pick it up from my tone of voice, I'm pissed." June said and hung up. She sighed and looked around. Well she wasn't going to let the boys absence affect her.

June unlocked her phone and tried to search for places to go. She sighed, frustrated. She didn't even know what to look for. She looked around at the people and figured she should just asked the people who live here. She saw a guy who looked to be her age. She tapped his shoulder and he turned to her and smiled.

"Hi," June said.

"Hello," the man said in a British accent. "What is a beautiful young lady like you roaming around by herself."

"My friends left without me so I'm going out on my own. I wanted to know if you had suggestions of where I should go." June said with a smile.

"Well, you could see the Parliament building, or the London Eye-" the man said. June cut him off.

"No I want to see the stuff where they're won't be a million tourists." June said.

"Ah I see. Well there is a little café down the street that not a lot of people know about, but it has classic British food." The man said. June smiled.

"That sounds perfect." June said.

"Okay, you go down the street, about 2 blocks. It's on the left side. It's called 'The Coffee Pot.'" The man said.

"Oh I could really go for a coffee right now. Thank you…" June trailed off, not knowing his name.

"Mason." He said.

"Well thank you Mason." June said. He took a piece of paper out of his pocket and scribbled something down and handed it to June.

"Here, call me if you get lost." Mason said. June took it and looked at it. Not wanting to be rude, she slipped it in her pocket.

"Okay thank you." June said and turned and walked down the street to the café. She walked in and sat down. A waiter came to her table.

"Hello, I'm Jason, I'll be your waiter. What can I get you?" The waiter asked as he handed her a menu.

"Hi. This is actually my first time in London. What would you recommend?" June asked. The waiter smiled.

"Ah. What's a young American girl doing out by herself on the streets of London?" Jason asked. June laughed.

"You're the second person to ask that." June said. "My friends left, and aren't answering their phones so I'm going out by myself."

"Well then, if you want a traditional British meal. I would recommend some tea with our fish and chips. They are to die for." Jason said. June nodded.

"That sounds good. For tea, the only tea I've ever had is sweet tea down in the south back home, so I have no idea what to get." June said.

"I'll surprise you." Jason said and took her menu and left. He came back a couple minutes later with a cup of steaming tea.

"Alright here you go beautiful." June took the tea and sipped it.

"Hey this is really good!" June said happily. Jason laughed.

"Yeah, it's my favorite. Strawberry lemon herbal tea." He said.

"Well I love strawberry lemonade, I drink it all the time back home, so that's probably why I like it." June said. Jason nodded in agreement.

"Well I'll be right back with your lunch." He said and left. June happily sipped her tea and checked her phone for messages from James. Nothing.

"And here is your order." Jason said when he came back. June took a small bite and smiled.

"I wish I lived her. This is so nice." June said.

"Well if you ever come back, come here and look for me." Jason said. June didn't want to reply so she just took another bit of her food. Jason scribbled out something else on the bill and handed it to June.

"Here's your bill, call me if you get a chance." Jason said. June was about to say that she had a boyfriend, but he was already gone. June sighed. She didn't like it when she was alone, without James to tell all the guys off. She finished her meal and paid for the bill and left.

June talked to some other people and spent the next couple of hours exploring London. She was tired and was about to head back to the hotel, but found a little crumpet shop. As angry as she was at James, she wanted to bring something back for him. She walked into the shop bought ten crumpets, one for everyone, and then an extra. She was at the register when someone tapped her shoulder.

"You know, you are a very beautiful girl." The man said. June sighed and turned to the man, fed up with people hitting on her all day.

"I have a boyfriend." June said. She took the receipt and the bag of crumpets from the lady behind the counter. June started to walk out when the man grabbed her arm.

"No, I'm not interested like that. I work for a modeling agency and I would love to have you aboard." The man said. June turned back to look at him, just now noticing he was an older gentleman. She was shocked that this man thought she could be a model.

"I don't live here, sorry. I live in America." She said.

"Well that's fine! We have offices all over the world. We have 2 offices in the states. Where do you live?" He asked.

"Los Angeles." June said, not sure if she should feel uncomfortable or flattered.

"Ah perfect. Here, take my card, and go to the office when you get back home and tell them that Lewis sent you." He said and handed her a very nice business card. June took it and looked at it and back up at Lewis.

"Okay. It was nice meeting you." June said.

"We look forward to working with you." Lewis said and left. June looked at the card. A model? No way. June slipped the card into her pocket with all the other numbers she got today. June called a cab and drove back to the hotel.

She went up to her room and set the crumpets down. She saw that Katie and Mama Knight were either not back yet, or had left again. She walked out of the room, intending to go down the hall and see if the boys were back.

She was looking at her phone, to see if she had any word from James, when she knocked into someone.

"Oh sorry. I wasn't paying attention." June said. She looked up and saw a man in a white suit and a really tall bald guy behind him.

"You're dating James of Big Time Rush. Correct?" The man, who looked oddly familiar, asked.

"Uh yeah. Do you know where he is? I've been looking for them all day." June asked as she put her phone away. The two guys looked at each other and smiled.

"You're coming with us, princess." He said.

"No way." June said and crossed her arms. Then the man showed his big hammer hand. June uncrossed her arms and gulped.

"So boys. You are going to bring me the Beetle." Moon said into the video camera. June was sitting, tied to the chair, trying to wiggle out of the bonds.

"No way." Carlos said.

"Well then you're never going to see your precious princess again." Moon said and moved aside so they could see June.

"June?" James asked as he walked closer to the screen. June looked up.

"Oh my god. Is this what you've been doing all day? You answer this but not your phone? What is going on? And who does this douche bag in white think he is?" June complained.

"How do you put up with her? She's terrible." Moon said.

"Oh like you're a walk in the park?" June asked. Moon sighed and turned to the camera.

"Give me the beetle and you can get your princess back." Moon said and signed off. He turned to June.

"You shouldn't talk like that to your future ruler." Moon said.

"I'll talk to you how ever I want to talk to you." June said. "Can you loosen these? My wrist hurt. My bracelets are digging into my skin."

"No!" Moon yelled.

"Who was that?" Penny asked the boys once Moon signed off.

"That was my girlfriend June." James said. Penny sighed.

"No, that was your very angry girlfriend June." Carlos said.

"Carlos!" Logan, James, and Kendall said.

"What are we going to do?" Kendall asked.

"Well we have the backpack, so we have all the cards." Logan said as he held it out. The Swiss guys then zipped by and took the backpack.

"Now what do we do?" James asked.

"We are going to Moon's place, we are going to bust in, take the beetle, free June, and save the world." Penny said.

"Oh and we need tuxedos." Carlos said.

"Boss, there's been a security breach." A guard said as he came in. Moon pulled it up on the big screen, next to the countdown. There was a picture of the boys in a van, all posing for the camera.

"James has a killer smile." June sighed happily as she looked at he picture.

"Big Time Rush." Moon growled. He sent guards out.

"Looks like everything isn't going to plan is it?" June asked Moon. He smirked and walked to the control area and hit a button. A green force field surrounded him. Then James, Logan, Carlos, Kendall, and a girl all ran into the room. Carlos was shooting guard and June was shocked at what was going on. Kendall ran over to June and united her.

"Thank you Kendall, those were killing me." June said and hugged Kendall. "He just set up a force field thing so you can walk over there."

"I think they have that covered." Kendall said as he pointed up. June saw that girl trying to get James to jump. June ran up the stairs.

"James just jump down there." Penny said.

"No, I'll get hurt." James argued. Penny grabbed his flaps to the tuxedo and was about to kiss him.

"That's not necessary." June said as she pushed Penny away. June turned to James she leaned up, like she was going to kiss him, and then pushed him down. She turned to Penny.

"Don't even think of kissing my boyfriend." June said. She ran back down the stairs to check on James. She got to the bottom of the stairs, when she was grabbed on the arm. She saw Moon. She tried to wiggle free, but it wasn't working.

"James! Boys! Help!" June yelled as he dragged her out the door. He stopped as they were about to get on a helicopter.

"Give me the beetle. I never lose." Moon yelled. June looked at him like he was crazy. She turned back to the boys. She nodded.

"Yeah give it to him." June said. James looked at her hesitantly. She winked and nodded. Kendall tossed it and June elbowed him, hard. Moon bent over and the beetle landed on his back. He let go of June and started to float up. June ran over to the boys and hugged James.

"See you later Moon!" Carlos yelled. James turned to June, who's anger from earlier had returned. James winced.

"You look really cute, especially when you're angry." James said.

"Yeah, well I'm about to get really adorable." June said.

"Look, we can talk about it, after the show." Kendall said. Then MI6 came down in a helicopter.

"We're sorry for not believing you boys. What can we do to repay you?" One of the agents asked.

"Well we need a ride to our concert in Hyde Park." Logan said.

"Come aboard." Everyone got in the helicopter and James held on to June, and she hugged him too. She could be angry later. She wanted to enjoy her time with James. She leaned up and kissed him. He smiled at her and they waited the short distance to the park. They got there and The boys came down on the ladders, June went down with them. She kissed James on the cheek and then ran off stage to enjoy their concert.

"So how was your day?" Mama Knight asked.

"I don't want to talk about it. But I got us crumpets!" June said. "They're at the room."

"Oh that's nice."

"How was the Duke?" June asked.

"Well, he was the Duke of bath, as in a toilet company, not real royalty." Katie said. June laughed.

"Aw, that's to bad. I guess your princess dream will have to wait." June said to Katie.

"Yeah I guess." They enjoyed the rest of the concert. The boys finally came back out.

"Hey June. Now we can finally spend time together." James said as he hugged June. June hugged him back and kissed him.

"Yeah we can. We can talk about all the stuff that happened today. I had a crazy day too. Probably not as crazy as yours, but it was pretty weird." June said. Gustavo and Kelly came out and handed out tour guide.

"Okay, you guys have the rest of the night. We leave tomorrow." Kelly said.

"Sweet!" The boys said. We walked over to the backstage area.

"How are we going to get around?" Kendall asked. A black van pulled up and Penny opened the door.

"Get in the van boys, let's go." Penny said. June held James back. He looked at her.

"Can we go out, just the two of us?" June asked. "I'm gonna miss you and I want to spend some alone time together." James smiled and nodded.

"June and I are going out alone, don't wait up." James called to the boys and Penny. They all nodded, and the boys smirked knowingly.

"Get your head out of the gutter." June called before the door shut. June turned to James and leaned up and pulled him closer to her. She kissed him passionately, savoring the kiss. James kissed her back just as passionately. He pushed her against the side of the bus. James finally pulled away after a couple minutes.

"Okay come on let's go look around." June said as she took his hand and pulled him away.

"So what did you do today?" James asked as he followed her across the park.

"Well I went to find you guys, but your room was trashed and you were gone. So I went out and went to a bunch of different places for like 5 or 6 hours." June said. "In fact, let's go to this café I went to for lunch."

"Alright, anything you want to do." James said and kissed June. She took his hand and they walked over to the 'The Coffee Pot.' and sat down.

"So I went here for lunch and I got this tea and fish and chips and it was so good." June told James.

"That sound good. I barely ate anything all day, saving the world and all." James said. June smiled.

"Hey, you're back for more?" The same waiter, Jason said.

"Yeah. And I brought my boyfriend with me." June said as she reached over and took James hand.

"Boyfriend?" Jason asked.

"Yeah. I told you my friends left, one was my boyfriend." June said and smiled. Jason blushed and James watched him with a furrowed eyebrow. "Well I'm going to get a strawberry lemon tea. What do you want baby?" June asked. James smiled.

"What do you think June?" James asked.

"How about you get the same tea and fish and chips?" June asked. James smiled and nodded.

"That sound good." June said. The waiter nodded and quickly left.

"Sounds like you had a good day." James said. June stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out around 15 sheets of paper. James picked them up and started to look threw them. "What are these?"

"Numbers. Like 15 guys gave me their number today. It was annoying." June said. James looked up at her.

"Seriously?" James asked. "And you accepted them?"

"Well I took them because I didn't want to be rude. But I'm obviously not calling any of them. I don't like it when I have to walk around without you James. All these guys were hitting on me, it was weird." June complained.

"Well I get to be the lucky guy that gets to call you mine." James said and leaned over and kissed her. He looked back at the pile and pulled a last one out.

"A modeling business card? A male model asked you out?" James asked. June took it from him and looked at it.

"No. This was from a guy in the crumpet shop. He said that I should be a model and I was like, I don't live here, and he said to go to their L.A. office." June said and put the card back down.

"So you're going to be a model?" James asked excitedly.

"No. I'm not model material." June said. James took both of her hands.

"June, you are the most beautiful girl on the planet, you work out, you have an awesome body. You could so be a model." James said and kissed her. June pulled away and smiled.

"I don't know James. A model? I already have a lot on my plate." June said.

"You have school, I'll be gone for like 4 months, so school will be the only thing that you have to worry about. And then you can model, and make some extra money. Plus I can say that I'm dating a model." James said. June rolled her eyes and laughed.

"I don't know. I'll think about it." June said. They got their tea and enjoyed the meal.

"So what did you do today? Obvious it must have been pretty important because you never answered your phone and made me go out alone." June asked.

"Well Kendall's backpack was switched and there was this antigravity thing and then Moon wanted it so he could take over the world by taking the moon out of orbit. So we had to get it back and save the world." James said. June nodded, half following along.

"Okay. I think I get you. But if Moon didn't kidnap me, I would have thought you were lying. That man was crazy." June said.

"I'm really sorry we didn't get to spend the whole day together and all this happened." James said. June waved her hand.

"It's fine. I had a good time today, minus all they guys hitting on me. Plus we get the rest of the night." June said. James finished his meal and paid. They walked outside.

"Where to now?" June asked.

"Why don't we go walk by the river?" James asked. June kissed his cheek.

"That sounds nice." They walked down to the river and walked along the path. June and James held hands and June rested her head on James' shoulder.

"Why do you have such weird people as your villains? They are like all total douche bags." June asked.

"What do you mean?" James asked.

"Wayne-Wayne, total douche. Hawk, he was just weird. And then Moon, he was weird and a douche bag." June said. James laughed.

"I don't know. We attract weird people." James said.

"I'm gonna miss you." June said.

"I'm gonna miss you too. But this time it's only 4 months, and you'll be busy at home." James said. June stopped and kissed him.

"I love you James." June said. He kissed her again.

"I love you too June." James said.

"Do you mind if I stay the night with you?" June asked once they started walking again.

"Of course not." James said. "Let's head back." June nodded and they took a cab back to the hotel. The boys weren't back yet. James handed June a pair of sweats and a t-shirt that he had in his bag. June changed out of her dress and into the sweats, too tired to leave the room. James crawled into bed and June followed him and curled into his chest. James wrapped his arms around her and they fell into a peaceful sleep.
