It was a quiet day. Not like any other quiet day; it was a much quieter day. Nobody was around, really. Well, there were people around, but you know what I mean. A young boy named Marco was walking to school. He had a smile on his face; it was the brightest smile you'd ever seen in your goddamn he was going to ask out his crush, and Star had given him the biggest confidence boost you had ever seen. It was his time to shine! As he was walking, he saw Jackie.
Oh, Jackie; how pretty she was. How beautiful. How stunning…but she wasn't as stunning as the person he was going to ask out, so he just waved at her and went on his way.
Star stood behind a tree, making sure nobody saw her with her dimensional scissors. She had cut out a portal especially for Marco. As she saw him walking towards her, waving and smiling, she grabbed him and pushed him in the portal.
"REMEMBER; FIVE MINUTES!" she yelled. Marco landed in a field similar to the one in his world, except it looked more three-dimensional. Beside him was a boy with chocolate ice cream-like hair and blue eyes. Next to him was an orange-haired boy with glasses.
"Remember; five minutes." The blue-eyed boy said. Marco and the orange-haired boy looked at each other and smiled. He had met him while Star was fighting Ludo in this dimension with another guy who was about Ludo's height, but much older. He found him to be quite cute, and despite him nearly dying during that one battle, the boy had helped Marco recover. He recovered only a while ago, but he grew a bond with the boy.
"So, Carl…Carl, is it?"
"Y-Yeah…I like llamas…"
"I know, Carl. I know."
"Sorry." Marco giggled. He stared into Carl's eyes, but lifted them towards the blue-eyed scientist-looking boy. After a while he realized that he was supposed to leave, and he ran off to find his friends.
"So, Carl…"
"Yeah…Yeah, Marco…Marco, right?"
"Yeah…"
"Marco…is there something you'd like to ask?"
"Yes, actually! I, uh…I…"Marco thought of turning back, but he remembered Star's advice. "You only have a few minutes, so make it last!" Marco nodded, and grabbed Carl's arms. "Would you like to go out for a date in another dimension with me?!" Carl blushed, and he couldn't speak for a moment. But he gulped, and smiled.
"Of course, Marco. I'd love to." Marco's eyes glistened, and he quickly hugged Carl in excitement. Carl laughed, and hugged him back. That's when they heard the bells from their own dimensions ring. As Star grabbed Marco's hoodie, he blushed and waved awkwardly. "I-I'll give you the time and date later!"
"Alright! S-See ya later, Marco!" The portal closed. Carl watched as it had closed, and felt a little sad, but he knew his date would be back at lunch to talk about the event.
