"I have to go to work" Gail giggled as Holly pulled her down on to the bed again for another kiss.
"I know so do I" the brunette smirked as she teased Gail's bottom lip with her tongue .
"You don't start as early as me" Gail protested sucking Holly in, "I'm gonna be late"
"Mmmmhmmmm" Holly smiled into the blondes neck " I'm letting you go, just not yet"
Gail gave in grabbing Holly's face pulling her in to a deep kiss causing the Doctor to moan into her mouth ..
"Ok I really have to go" Gail sulked pushing Holly away .
"Spoil sport" Holly sulked kicking Gail gently in the ribs..
"Well I could always come by for lunch"? Gail winked
"Sounds good , Holly got up to crawl towards the cop "but I don't do the whole donut thing" she smiled kissing Gail's temple..
Gail left as Holly jumped in the shower, making it just in time for Oliver's briefing
"You didn't come home last night " Chloe grinned
"Go away Price"
Chloe giggled " we're so having girl talk time later"
Gail turned to Chloe looking her square in the face " Price if I wasn't in such a good mood this morning I would tell you that there is no way in gods earth you and I will be having any kind of talk at all, let alone time for girl talk"
Chloe rolled her eyes as Oliver began to speak.
"Ok we have a situation this morning , a gang shoot out happened at approximately 4.30am this morning,so you lovely people have the pleasure of cleaning up the mess, choose your partners and get to it"
Chloe looked at Gail with a huge grin " uh Andy"? Gail called out slightly panicked " ride with me"?
"Ok"? Andy shrugged
Gail grinned at Chloe "have a good day princess"
"It's gonna happen Gail" Chloe called out laughing
"Not while I'm alive Price" Gail snapped back
"What's gonna happen"? Andy asked as they headed to the squad car .
"Nothing" Gail shrugged "Price is just a little confused, she mistakes my hating her for friendship"
Andy laughed throwing the keys to Gail " you're driving"
Gail groaned taking a sit at the drivers side " wonder how bad this is"?
"Well if most of the divisions are on it I would say it's pretty messed up"? Andy sulked into her seat. " you ever wonder what goes through a persons mind when they decide to end someone's life "?
"Yup, I think about it all the time, very time I lay eyes on Price" Gail laughed under her breath.
Andy joined her in the joke and laughed.
"The only problem is she's like bullet proof " Gail continued .
"She's certainly a tough cookie" Andy nodded
"She probably survived the bullet in the neck so she could annoy me for the rest of my life" Gail moaned
"Gail c'mon"? Andy smiled "you know you were just as worried as we all were for her when she got shot, and you know if she had died you woulda been sad"
"ewwww, Gail cringed " yeah maybe... And I mean maybe "
Andy laughed shaking her head "so what did she want to talk about"?
Gail shifted in her seat taking extra notice of the road ahead " is he speeding"? She asked pointing to the car in front
Andy looked over before turning to Gail" no, now tell me"?
"Why does everyone want to know about my life all of a sudden"? Gail moaned .
"Well obviously because you're being secretive, wait... Have you sealed the deal with Dr Stewart"? Andy asked excitedly
"How does everyone know about Holly"? Gail gasped turning red
Andy clapped "I knew it .. Oh my god have you guys ? You know? Done it?"
Gail stopped the car at it's destination before turning to her partner " Andy? If I hear or find out that you,and the Disney Princess have been talking about me and Holly I swear to god you both won't survive what I do to you, .. Got it"?
Andy gave her a huge grin " I won't say anything , but I really do think if you won't have girl talk with Chloe then you know " she smiled pointing to herself .
"No" Gail said shaking her head getting out the car " just no"

Holly leaves the morgue to head to the gang shooting when Rodney calls out " wait up?, I'll come with you"
"Thanks Rodney but aren't you suppose to be on a half day"? Holly asked
"Yeah but I'd just be home bored so .." The intern smiled taking Holly's equipment off her as they walked to the car , as they stood loading the trunk of the SUV Holly noticed a young man over the far side of the parking lot, he was lent against a car smoking, watching the pair.. Holly shrugged it off and jumped into the drivers seat "ready"?
"When you are" Rodney smiled..

Yawning again Luck"? Wes teased as the stand at the front door of the crime scene.
"Shut up" Officer luck said giving him a shove .. Gail stood rolling her eyes wondering why it was always her that had to be placed with these two from 27...
"Anyone would think you haven't been sleeping to well" Wes continued.. Amy shook her head ignoring her partner , Andy leaned into Gail's ear " this is got to be some kinda punishment ?"
"Tell me about it, now I know Chloe is like the worst person in the world but what she saw in that guy? I'll never know"
Andy laughed causing both cops from 27 diversion to look over "you got something you wanna say McNally"? Wes asked puffing out his chest .
" I was actually talking to my partner" she smirked
"Well if you feel like you wanna share"? Wes huffed
"It's real cop talk, you wouldn't know anything about that" Gail bitched causing Luck to roll her eyes .."ok . Ok let's just leave it out"
"Anyways, as I was saying" Wes grinned " looks like you ain't been sleeping to well , who's keeping you up"?

I wouldn't say no" he laughed causing Gail to move towards him only to be grabbed by Andy " he's goading you, ignore it" she whispered
Wes had heard rumours Something was going on between Gail and Holly and he knew he was sure to get a reaction out of her if he kept it up " That Doc looks all innocent but I bet she's an animal between the sheets, they say it's the quiet ones you gotta watch, is that true luck?, is she a wild cat"?
"Why don't you shut the fuck up" Andy spat .. Wes laughed holding his hards in the air "woah Peck keep your pit ball under control better still get her a leash "

Amy shifted a little feeling like all eyes were on her " I haven't said anything about Holly"
"Exactly and because you haven't this idiot here Is assuming all kindsa shit, you and I both know nothing has happened between the two of you, and we both know that because it was me who left her bed this morning not you" Gail smirked
"Andy coughed " Gail"
"So why don't you and you're pathetic excuse for a partner shut the fuck up"?

Andy nodded and raised her finger pointing behind the blonde , Gail frowned as she looked behind her to see Holly stood there with Rodney , she looked angry "excuse me"
"Holly" Gail sighed knowing she had completely screwed up " Holly I didn't...
"I have work to do " Holly interrupted pushing past Gail .
" oooooooo, looks like that's the last time your'll be leaving her bed" Wes laughed feeling happy with himself .
Gail ignored his teasing , her thoughts were to busy with what Holly had heard " shit"
"You ok"? Andy asked " I tried to warn ya"
Gail swallowed " I know , I screwed up , yet again"
"Hey it might be ok"? I mean you can talk to her right"? Andy smiled
"You saw her face Andy" Gail sighed " she's mad "
Andy nodded knowing Gail had a battle on her hands if she wanted Holly to forgive her " well if it helps I can back you up and tell her those two were acting like total prick?"
Gail nodded with a smile " thanks but I think this is on me"
Gail waited outside the crime scene for what felt like hours .. As she stood waiting for Holly she notice a young man hanging around .. " hey? You're not allowed here" she called out .. The young man stared at her for a moment before waking away "weird " Gail said to Andy .. "Hey wait" Andy called out walking over to him " why are you here? Do you know something about what happened here"
The guy shook his head " no ma'am I'm just passing "
Gail watched him intensively while Andy talked to him , he looked tense, scared even. "Ok well go on , get out of here " Andy ordered
"He knows something" she stated as she took her place next to Gail ... "Everybody knows something but they won't speak out, not to us anyways" she puffed into her hands warming them up from the cold ..
"Look lively" Andy nudged warning Gail Holly was approaching ..
Holly hurried past the two cops toward her SUV .. "Holly" Gail called out jogging behind the Doctor " wait?, please?"
"Leave it Gail" Holly snapped
Gail grabbed at the brunettes arm " please wait, just hear me out"?
"I think I've heard enough don't you"? Holly fumed
"Look I know how it must have looked, sounded even but if you just let me explain"? Gail pleaded not letting go of Holly's arm, "please"?
"We Have a jobs to do Gail, now isn't the time or the place, Holly sighed pulling her arm away .
"Ok ok you're right" Gail nodded looking around " can I see you tonight"?
Holly stood looking disappointed at the blonde " I don't know Gail"
Gail frowned " please Holly at least let me explain"?
"Explain what"? Holly snapped " that you were discussing my private life with your cop friends"?
"What? No, firstly they are not my friends , secondly I wasn't discussing anything with them, I.. I uh"
"You were bragging Gail , and you may not like those people but we have to work with them and I for one don't want my business running through your divisions,now if you don't mind I have work to do"
Gail sighed heavily allowing Holly to get into her car " fuck" she moaned to herself .
"You ok"? Andy asked from behind her. .. "Yeah gravy" Gail sulked
As Holly pulled away waiting at the junction to pull into the next street she noticed the same guy from the morgue " Rodney? You see that guy leaning against that black car"? Have you seen him hanging around the morgue"?
Rodney looked over at the man "uh .. Um I'm not sure.. He looks familiar , why"?
Holly shook her head " I don't know he just uh.. You know what? Doesn't matter, let's get back huh"?
Holly and Rodney drove across town in silence , whist Rodney looked over their findings Holly's mind wondered to the man she had seen at both the morgue and to crime scene , who was he? Why was he hanging around ? She wondered if she should mention it to Gail? Well she would maybe if she wasn't so mad at her, she tried to shake it off , maybe it was nothing.. As she drove some more she spotted the black car in her rear view mirror " Rodney, can you clock that registration number down of that car behind us"?
"Is every thing ok"? Rodney worried
Holly swallowed " I don't know it's just that guy from earlier, he uh was at the morgue today and now at the crime scene and he's been behind us all the way here " she explained pulling into her parking space .
"She'll we call cops? Officer Peck maybe"? Rodney asked
Holly shook her head " no , no cops"
Rodney shrugged getting out of the car looking over at the man who pulled up just out side the main entrance gate "I could go over"?
Holly looked over " no let's just leave it for now "
"Are you sure? Because it seems like we're being followed"? Rodney worried .
Holly painted on a smile " yeah it's fine , c'mon let's get this over with so you can go and enjoy the rest of your day off huh"?
Gail tried to call Holly a few times through out the afternoon, it wasn't unusual for her not to answer , especially if she's doing an autopsy, but Gail knew she was just ignoring her " you think I should go see Holly?" She asked Andy.
"Mmmm I don't know I mean she seemed pretty pissed, you know her better then I do, is she the kinda person that needs a little time to cool off?"
Gail slumped into her seat " she's just the coolest person I know, and she's smart, she's weird and I like her"
"Andy smiled " well all you can do is tell her the truth, apologise for your part and I don't know .. Make out or something"
Gail laughed " if only,... Andy"?
"Yeah" andy looked up from get phone .
"Are people talking about me"? Gail asked softly " you know cause I know stuffs going around about Holly and I but... Gail began to fiddle with her hands " I mean is there talk about me being .. A lesbian "?
Andy shook her head "no.. But I'm not sure if that's because people are scared of you" she laughed
Gail frowned with a smile " what do you thinking about it"?
'Me"? Andy sounded surprised "you're asking me what I think about you being a lesbian?"
Gail rolled her eyes " I meant about me dating Holly "?
"Oh.. Andy shrugged " I think it's hot , I think Holly is a great lady, she seems to have a calming effect on you and I think if you like her and she likes you,then why not"?..
Gail looked over at her friend smiling genuinely at her " thank you "
Andy nodded returning her attention back to her phone ...
"Rodney,? Why don't you head home I can finish up here"? Holly suggested " I feel bad you're still here"?
"I don't mind" Rodney smiled
"Seriously go" Holly ordered ..
"Are you sure? I mean I don't like the thought of you here alone"
Holly smiled squeezing her interns arm. " go .. I'll be fine"
"Hey " Gail smiled at the door
"See"? Holly winked
Rodney smiled with a nod " I'll you you tomorrow, maybe you can get Gail to look into it"?
Gail nodded at Rodney as he left before turning to Holly "ok go"?
"Go"? Holly repeated
"Yeah shout at me, scream at me, tell me off, end things ? What ever it is you need to do " Gail rambled
Holly frowned taking a deep breath " I don't like being used "
"Used", Gail gasped " used how"?
"To get one over on Amy? Or to piss her partner off "
"No.. Holly I promise you it wasn't like that.. Wes was speaking about you like you're some kinda meat and I didn't like, and Luck? Well she just stood there and I .. Gail wet her bottom lip " I just lost it, and for that I'm sorry "
Just as Gail finished the courier popped his head round the door causing Holly to jump a little , she handed him the files and turned to Gail " I don't care about what he said about me Gail or how he said It, I care that you shared personal details about me with him.. With Amy, now everybody's gonna be talking about how we're sleeping together"
Gail shrugged "I don't care let then talk"
"I care"Holly snapped " my work is very important to me and I don't want this " she points between her and Gail " to get in the way of that, how am I suppose to be professional when I'm gonna constantly hear your cop buddies whispers and punting fingers "?
Gail leaned back on the deal slightly causing it to scrap the floor, the sound made Holly jump again.
Gail watched her intensely as she folded her arms "what's going on"?
Holly looked surprised " are you kidding me? Did you not just hear what I said"? Were you even listening to me"?
Gail nodded "yeah I heard you but I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about why you're so on edge"?
"I'm not" Holly swallowed
Gail narrowed her eyes "uh yeah you are, you jumped when the courier showed up and then again when I moved the desk" Gail could see Holly was looking uncomfortable as she asked her questions " and what did Rodney mean by get me to look into it"?
Holly bit down on her bottom lip taking a seat "It's nothing "
"What's nothing?.. C'mon nerd something's up.. Let me help"?
Holly sighed heavily shaking her head " Ok , ok so I mmm I think maybe I'm " Holly rubbed her eyebrow "maybe I'm being followed or something? I dunno"
"What"? Gail gasped "what do you mean .. Followed"? The blonde worried.
"Followed Gail.. You know .. followed as in someone's everywhere I go" Holly panicked pacing the lab with her hands on her hips
Gail felt her chest tighten at the thought Holly could be in danger ,
" this morning " Holly began " I saw a guy, early twenties maybe? He was watching me and Rodney from across the parking lot "
"Maybe he was just waiting for someone"? Gail shrugged trying to keep her cool .
Holly nodded "yeah that's what I thought at first, but when I left the crime scene this morning he was there, and then he followed us all the way back here and parked up outside"
Gail stood silently for a moment " wait was he wearing a blue baseball cap and white sneakers"?
Holly nodded "yeah why"?
"I saw him today, Andy asked him what he was doing there? He said he was just passing by" Gail explained " I knew something was right"
"So he was actually at the scene"? Holly worried " am I being paranoid here?"
Gail placed her hand on her utility belt gliding her small finger across her gun as if to check it was still there " why didn't you say anything earlier " she fumed " you coulda told me or Andy or anyone , you shoulda called me as soon as you knew something wasn't right"?
"Yeah well excuse but I was to busy being mad at you" Holly snapped back.
"Regardless Holly this is serious, I mean do you have any idea who he is? Why he would be watching you"? What he wants"?
Holly shook her head "Gail I'm a witness quite regularly in court against a lot of people it could be someone who's pissed off with me, maybe they've done some jail and arrant happy about it? I just don't know" Holly wept " but I do know that it's freaking me out "
"Hey?, shhhh "Gail soothed her wrapping the brunette in her arms " I just wish you told me"
Holly moved out of Gail's arms composing herself " yeah well like I said I was mad at you , I still am "
Gail nodded " I know but can we just put that on hold while we deal with this?.. "I'm gonna take a look outside ok"?
"What? No" Holly gasped " Gail I don't want you to go looking for him alone "
"Holly I'm a police officer"
"I don't care" Holly said standing in the cops way " can't you just ask your colleagues to look out for him? Or get some backup or something"?
Gail took Holly's hand " yeah I will when I need it, I'm just going to have a look that all' I know what I'm doing ok"?
Holly looked scared for the women in front of her but could see she wasn't winning this battle " please be careful and don't approach me"
Gail squeezed her hand tightly " don't worry, I'll be right back ok"?
Gail took off toward the entrance and out into the parking lot, she spoke to the security guard and warned him to allow no one access unless they've been cleared by a member of staff ..
"That was quick" Holly smiled looking up from her desk expecting to see Gail after she heard footsteps " did you... The rest of her words were lost in fear .. There stood just a foot away from her was the man Gail was outside looking for ...
