"Hey losers" Gail said as she opened the door to her apartment "I'm moving out" she added opening the fridge ..
Dov,Chris and Chloe all spun around from the couch ..
"You're what now"? Dov asked
"Awwww are you moving in with Holly"? Chloe asked excitedly ..
Gail who was drinking orange juice out of the cartoon looked disgusted at the red hair ..
"Don't do that!"
"Do what"? Chloe smiled
"That sappy girly voice thing you do" Gail cringed pointing at her ..
"So Are you? Like moving in with Holly"? Chris asked ..
Gail nodded still cringing at Chloe's sappy grin "why are you here"?
Chloe laughed " I'm always here"
"And don't we know it" Gail said rolling her eyes " anyways... I'll pay rent till the end of the month .. And as you're always here you might as well move in" she added looking at Chloe..
"Uh wait a minute" Chris pipped up " don't get me wrong Chlo I like having you here but living with a couple "? He shook his head " I don't know about that"
"Well I lived with you and Gail when you dated" Dov argued ..
"True he did" Gail agreed still drinking from the carton ..
"Yeah but we weren't like ... Like .. Well like.." Chris didn't want to offended the couple so Gail gladly finished his sentence for him ..
"What he means is, he and I weren't sharing saliva every three seconds and making bird noises whilst having sex"
Chris laughed pointing at Gail as if to say "exacty"
Dov couldn't help but laughed much to Chloe's annoyance " jealously gets you no where, and as for "bird" noises? You two weren't exactly quiet ... Just sayin"
Gail shrugged whilst Chris blushed .. "What can I say, Chris is a screamer" Gail joked
"Hey? Chris protested ..
"Well I'm going to miss you Gail" Chloe said sincerely "and I'm really happy for you.. Holly's a great lady"
Usually Gail would find something cold or sarcastic to say to the red head but in this case, she actually appreciated the sentiment "thank you"
"Hey do you need some help packing"? The red head asked " I'm super good at organising stuff"
"No" Gail replied sternly " I'll pack myself"

Gail headed into her room leaving the three to carry on with their night ..
"Didn't they just break up like last week "? Dov whispered .. "How can they get back together and move in.. In the space of a few days?"
"I think it's romantic" Chloe grinned "Holly's good for Gail, she doesn't pick on me half as much as she use to.. Maybe she's matured since she met Holly"?
"I think Chloe's right I mean look when she moved in here? She didn't want to share with me, she insisted on her own space, for her to be actually moving in with the Doc I would say she's serious"..
Dov thought about it for s moment "well I don't think we will rent her room out just yet"
Chloe slapped her boyfriend " don't be so negative, it's cute and I'm happy for them both"
"I didn't say I wasn't happy for them" Dov argued " I said I just won't let her room just yet,.. And you know what this mean's Diaz? We can say goodbye to the Xbox"
Chris threw his hands in the air "great that's all we need, less nights at the Penny because we have to pay more rent and now nothing to do whist we die of boredom at home"
"Who's dying"? Gail asked as she strutted into the room ..
"No one" Dov and Chris said in unison ..
"They're sad that when you move out so does the Xbox" Chloe laughed ..
"Oh... Well you don't have to cry boys, I'm not taking the Xbox"
"You're not"? Dov asked a little to excited .
"Nope! I need somewhere to come hang out when Holly's pissed at me" Gail said jokingly "but it's nice to know you care more about my games console leaving then me"
"They'll miss you"Chloe said pinching Dov's leg..
"Ow" he sulked "uh yeah of coarse I'll miss you, I mean who wouldn't miss picking up after you and having someone eat all my food and not replace it, or never cleaning up in the whole three years you've lived her"
"Stop being a baby Epstein" Gail moaned "Call it payment for the use of my Xbox, and don't bitch or I'll take it with me"
"Hey I'm just saying that yes I'll miss you Gail" Dov smiled sarcastically earning himself a flip of the finger from Gail.
Gail ate with her housemates and even managed to only insult Chloe a handful of times, as much as she would never admit it she will miss living at the frat house.. Somewhere deep down she knew she would miss Chloe a little too ..Ok well as joyful as it is hanging out with you losers, I'm gonna get ready to go to Holly's"

Chris knocked gently on Gail's bedroom door ..
"Enter " Gail called out..
"Hey got a minute"? Diaz asked.. Gail answering with a nod ..
"So things are really serious with you and Doctor Stewart huh"?
Gail frowned "Chris? you know...you know her well enough to call her Holly right"?
Chris smiled " I'm just glad you're happy Gail, that's all I want"
"And I am" Gail smiled " I'm really happy, Holly she's just... well she's just .. Good for me"
Chris agreed "I like this Gail"
"Meaning"?
"Meaning your more calm and open, you're warmer, it's like she's brought out .. You.. The you I've always known that's been there but you've never felt comfortable bringing that side of you out ... "You really love her don't you"?
Gail blushed as she folded her clean work shirt " yes" she nodded as she sat on her bed " I don't want this to sound cold or anything because I genuinely cared for you when we were together Chris,I still do... but I've never been in love with anyone like I love her... No offence"
Chris laughed "none taken,.. Chloe's right Holly is a great lady and i'm glad she makes you better.. I'm glad you can be you with her"... Chris took a brave move and went into to hug his ex who surprising welcomed it " your always have a home here Gail, and promise me your come hang out"?
Gail patted her friends back to end the hug" well Diaz I might be here more then I am now" she laughed "let's face it I'm probably gonna piss my nerd off ... A lot"..
"I think Holly has more patience with you then you think Gail, I think she might surprise you"
Gail zipped her bag up, throwing it over her shoulder " I hope so Diaz, I really do, now stop with the mushy stuff, I gotta go"
Chris opened the bedroom door for the blonde and she walked under his arm " those losers are all yours" she called out as she headed to the door ..
" love you to Gail" Dov called out shaking his head...

"Wait so you just walked in and said "hey I'm moving out"? Holly asked as she handed Gail a hot mug of coffee "Mmmm" Gail nodded taking a sip ..."what was I suppose to do? Sit them down and talk about it"? The blonde laughed .. "Besides Chloe practically lives there so it's no big deal, in fact... Dov was more concerned about the fact he thought I was taking the Xbox away from him" ..
"What? You're not bringing your Xbox"? Holly frowned .
"Nah.. I figured I would leave it there" Gail shrugged...
"Why? Why would you do that?" Holly wondered.. Gail talked about her games nights with the boys all the time and how her Xbox was on of her prize possessions
Gail shrugged again keeping her attention in her mug.
"Gail? Cmon tell me"?
Gail sighed loudly " I'm hard work Hol.. You know that as well as I do?...and I'm probably gonna piss you off ... A lot " the cop empathised "so I figured that... When that happens I can give you your space and hang out at the frat house for time to time"?
"No no no no" Holly stood shaking her head and hands " that's not happening Gail, this isn't going to work out if you are already thinking of running"
"Running"? Gail gasped "no I..I...I don't wanna run! I just thought that ..."
"Well you need to stop thinking" Holly butted in " listen.. honey.. If you want to hang out and play Xbox with Chris and Dov on a night that's fine .. But I want you here, always, and if we fight? Which we definitely will from time to time, I want you right here so we can work it out," Holly warned " I don't want you to keep the frat house as a safe place.. I want you to make this your home"
"And I will" Gail urged " I just .. I don't know, I thought that maybe you would sometimes want your space"?
"So I'll go for a drive or to the batting cages" Holly smiled " but I can promise you one thing, you defiantly will not be running off to the frat house, this is a mature,grown up relationship Gail, and you and I are not.. And I repeat..not..going to be running away from each other" Holly said taking Gail's chin in her hand kissing her softly..
"Gail kissed Holly a little deeper before pulling away slightly " so are you gonna tell the boys that the Xbox is coming here?"
"Holly rolled her eyes" let's just buy a new one" she smiled kissing her girlfriend again "you want a sandwich ?" ...

Gail couldn't wait for the week to be over, she had packed all her things up and her and Holly had planned to move her in come Saturday...
"Honey? How much wardrobe space do you think you'll need"? Holly asked throwing some of her old stuff on to the bedroom floor..
Gail didn't answer so Holly assumed she hadn't heard .. "Gail? Honey how much closet space do you need"?
Again Gail didn't answer so Holly popped her head around the closet door ..

Gail was led on their bed in just her underwear .. A sexy little black number " pretty sure I came out of the closet a while ago" she laughed " and if I didn't I sure would have after I met you"
Holly's mouth had opened slightly seeing Gail almost naked in front of her made her heart race and a warm heat rise in her own under wear ..
"Whatcha doing there" she swooned biting her bottom lip ..
"Well " Gail smirked as she got on her hands and knees and slowly crawled towards the Doctor..." Well If you were throwing your clothes on the floor I thought I would join in "
Gail began to unbutton Holly's shirt to reveal the curve of her Breasts " and now I think you should follow suit and get out of your... Clothes" the blonde smiled raising her eyebrows ..
Holly blushed as she caught her breath " you move in tomorrow Gail, how are we suppose to be ready if we get into all the mucky stuff"?
"I like mucky stuff" Gail joked grabbing Holly by her collar kissing her deeply adding her tongue for added pleasure ..
"Mmmmm" Holly moaned into the blondes mouth as she bit her bottom lip " you know if we get this done now we can..."
Gail broke her off with another Kiss " I'm moving in we have all the time in the world now get your geeky ass into bed ... Now!"
Holly laughed as Gail pulled her down on the bed to straddling her " ooooo I love it when you get all dominate on me" the brunette laughed ..
"Oh well then you're in for a treat" Gail laughed...

Holly fell backwards on to the couch exhausted " honey I'm sure you didn't have all this stuff in that small bedroom of yours"?
"She defiantly didn't" Chris puffed as he brought in the last box...
"Uh you did see my room right?" Gail laughed " most of this stuff has been at my parents place.. I figured I would get Steve to bring it over finally" Gail explained stroking Holly's head " there's no point leaving it in their garage when I don't plan to move again"
Holly smiled widely at Gail's words, even if she was tired and they had been moving boxes all day, hearing Gail say those words made it all worth while .. "Dinner"?
"I don't know about you guys but I think a drink is in order, Penny"? Chris smiled stretching his aching arms..
Gail looked at Holly for an answer not wanting to agree if the pathologist was to tired ..
"Sounds good to me" the brunette smiled "can I shower first"?
Chris nodded " I'll leave you guys to it and I'll see you in say" he looked at his watch " an hour"?
Gail nodded as she stood to see her friend out " cmon big guy I'll walk you out"
"Thanks again for all your help Chris, it means a lot "
Chris ruffled up Gail's hair to which she slapped his hand away " You never have to ask you know that"? He winked as he gently jogged to his car " drinks are on you tonight thought.. Just so you know"!
"Not a problem" Gail called back ..
As Gail re-entered the house Holly had already headed upstairs .. The blonde looked around at all her belongs scattered everywhere .. Her hands hanging off her hips she took a huge breath in and out as she smiled .. The calm in her body and the silence in her head made her happy. And right there And then she knew she was where she was meant to be ... She was home!
"So let's just stay for a couple of drinks then we can head back and begin unpacking all my shit"? Gail said as she gently pulled Holly across the street towards the Penny...
"Or we can leave the unpacking until tomorrow"? Holly sulked " as much as I'm in love with the fact you're now living with me Honey , I'm not liking the job of unpacking you"
Gail laughed kissing Holly quickly as she opened the bar doors ..
"Supriseeeeeeeee" echoed around the room making Gail and Holly jump .. Everyone was there from Steve and Traci to Oliver and Celery.. Even Frank and Noelle made a rare appearance ... " what is this"? Gail frowned slightly confused ..
"This my Petulant Peck is yours and The good Doctors "congrats on moving in together" party" Oliver grinned ..
"Yeah it's also congrats on getting your shit together party" Traci called out ..
Gail being Gail was about to say something snarky and insulting,but it was quickly taking care of by Holly who placed her hand over the blondes mouth " thank you guys... This is amazing, isn't it Gail"? Holly smiled..
Gail shook her head trying to speak but Holly held her tighter ... "She said thank you"
Gail licked Holly's hand grossing her out " ewww you're totally gross you know that right"? Holly groaned wiping the palm of her hand on Gail's arm ... " cmon buy everyone a drink"
"What!? Hell no," Gail spat " Nerd if these losers wanna throw us a party it's not us that should be buying the drinks"
Holly shook her head pulling Gail to the bar " you're being a brat"
Gail shrugged allowing Holly to take her cash out of her back pocket ..
" Uh in case you haven't forgot I'm a measly cop on measly wages, not a Hot shot dead man's Doctor"
Holly laughed under her breath " what's mine is yours honey and what's yours ... "She smirked " is defiantly mine," Holly leaned over the bar to order a round of drinks.. Once the bar tender had returned her change she placed it in the top pocket of Gail's leather jacket with a gentle pat " your so good" she teased sipping her own drink ..
"So Holly you think you're ready to take this one on full time"? Steve asked pointing his bottle at his sister ..
Holly smiled placing her arm around the blonde cop " I like a challenge "she grinned squeezing Gail's shoulder giving her some reassurance " I'm actually excited"
Dov laughed " we'll ask you again after living with her a month,see how excited you are then after you're constantly picking up after her and washing her plates, taking empty juice cartons out the refrigerator, pulling her hair out the sink, I could go on"?
The group laughed along but not Holly, she felt Gail's body tense up .. " yeah thanks Epstein" the blonde snapped as she got up "I'm getting a drink" she said to Holly as she walked off .. Holly could see Gail was actually a little hurt by her friends comments but as usual she hid it ..
" oh and her moods" Dov continued
"Dov"? Chloe warned " enough"

"Well you know what Dov" Holly spoke " I don't need you to point out all Gail's faults, I don't care that she's a little messy, or she drinks out of a Juice carton, or her hair gets caught up in the sink, I care about her and I can't wait to live with her .. " Holly hadn't realised it but she was mad.. Angry that Dov was being so negative towards the women she loved " and you're suppose to be her friend"
"I am" Dov frowned .."I was kidding, she knows that"?

" I'll go talk to her" he mumbled ..

" sure, ... Gail you know I don't listen to that kinda stuff right"?
Gail ordered Holly a beer and again shrugged " maybe you should, that way you get no surprises"
Holly pouted at her girlfriends lack of confidence in her self ..
" I like surprises" the pathologist grinned kissing Gail's pale cheek "
Gail forced a smile " looks like you'll be at the batting cages quite a lot" she sighed ...
"Honey"..
"Sorry to interpreted "Dov said clearing his throat " Holly do you mind if I have a moment with Gail?"
Holly was still a little mad at the cop so was reluctant to leave them alone " I uh... I don't"
"Please"? Dov urged " I won't keep her minute "

Dov watched Holly until she entered the bathroom ..
"What do you want Epstein?" Gail barked .
"I'm a jerk" he laughed " and I say stupid thinks sometimes, maybe I learned it from you " he teased causing Gail to smile a little .." I just find it easier to put you down and make a joke of things to to really admit that I don't want you to move out, because I'm gonna miss you ok"?
Gail frowned turning fully to face her friend ..
"Yeah that's right" he continued " we've been roommates for three years, well three and a half if you count in the middle of you dating Chris and didn't actually pay rent"
Gail laughed because Dov's comment was very true she had practically moved in way before she moved into the small bedroom ..
" the place isn't going to be the same with out you and I hardly see you now, I'm guessing I won't so much anymore, work maybe?" .. He rambled " your like one of my oldest and best friends Gail, we've been through a lot and I ..."
Gail wrapped her arms around the skinny man holding him tightly " shut up you dork, and I'm gonna miss you too.. " she smiled pulling away " but listen, I am gonna need somewhere to come to veg out and eat junk food, Holly's cutting me off slowly, she thinks I haven't realised but I have"
Dov laughed " well you know you can come and help yourself when ever you like"
Gail nodded holding out her old apartment key " I guess this is yours?"
Dov wrapped his hand around the blondes "keep hold of it, .. Not because I think you'll need it but you know we hate getting up answer the door and we might lock ourselves out"
Gail licked and bit her bottom lip " you know what? Leave it under the mat" she took a deep breath in and out " if I keep it then I'll have somewhere to run to and I don't want that"
Dov reluctantly took the key with a nod " I'll leave it in my locker at work,"
Gail smiled knowing that he meant it was there if ever she needed it " you're still the worlds biggest dork you know that right"?
"and your still a bitch" he smiled holding his hand up for a high five ..
"Are we good"? Holly asked from behind the blonde ..
"Dov's still a small penis, I'm still the cool kid and you're the hot nerd I live with " Gail grinned " I'd say all is well in the world"
"And on that insult I'm leaving" Dov smiled hurrying off back to Chloe ..
Holly wrapped her arm around Gail's neck kissing her temple " are you really ok"?
" I am" Gail nodded leaning into the brunette " I really am "
Gail and Holly stuck around for an hour or so more until Gail decided she had been nice to everyone long enough and wanted to head home ... Quickly saying their goodbyes they headed towards the door ..
