Random update is random:
I've recently fell in love with the following songs: Pretty Hurts, Love Robbery, King For A Day, and more.
If you can name the artists of those songs, I might just give you a prize. I don't know what the prize would be though. PFFFT.
ALSO: my PC pooped on me again. As in, I can no longer use it to type up stories. I am currently using my kindle. Although it is better than my phone or 3Ds, it isnt the best. Updates will be slow, and might be on the short side.
Blossom sat down in the living room. Bubbles was making snacks in the kitchen while Buttercup was up in her room, hiding from the world. In other words, taking a short nap. Professor was down in his lab while Ms. Bellum was helping Bubbles with the snacks. The two left the kitchen with two platters piled with cheese, crackers, and more. Blossom looked down at her phone for the millionth time.
"Girls? Are you sure about this?" Sarah asked the two. "I don't think its safe. Especially after what happened." she explained. You see, the girls trust Ms. Bellum the most - they had to. She was the one they ran to when they had problems. Let the problems be about boys, their bodies changing, or even just a math question, they went to their mother figure first. This means they told her everything. Sarah was aware of everything that was happening, even more so then Mayor and John. All they thought was that the girls had a fight with their counterparts. Something normal teenagers did, apparently.
"Yes, Sarah." Blossom said. "At least, I'm sure of this. Its only Brick who is coming by to talk to me. I'm pretty sure that he won't try anything with you, Professor, Bubbles, and Buttercup around. And if he does, I'm pretty sure I can fend him off by myself." she tried to convince the older woman. Sarah gave in easily, because she knew Blossom was to stubborn to even try. She sighed and shook her head.
"If you think so." she said.
"Thank you, Sarah. Really." she smiled brightly. "Now, can you be sure Professor doesn't come up here at all?"
"Oh course, Blossom." She nodded, walking down the hall to the door on her left, opening it and entering the lab. She closed the door behind her. Just then, the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it!" Blossom called, standing up from her position and walking to the door. After confirming her idea of who it was by peaking through the window, she grasped the doorknob and turned it slowly. She opened the door to reveal Brick standing with his hands in front of him, wearing a red baseball cap.
"Hey, Pinky." He smirked slightly, hoping it would let him in quicker.
"My name is Blossom." She corrected coldly. He sighed slightly. "Come in." She told him. He, knowing he had nothing else to do but obey, nodded and did so. He followed her to the living room and sat down across from her.
"Listen, Blossom. I can really explain myself." He said. "I even have a plan. Will you hear me out?" He asked hopefully, clasping his hands together.
"Explain yourself first." She said, not allowing any emotions into her voice or on her face.
"Fair. We already explained our story, but we never got to explain everything else." He started. "Mojo, he made us live again. But ever since we were revived, it was shoved down our throats that girls named Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were horrible people and should be taken out the second we heard of them." He explained. "We were trained to fight in different ways, use anything as our weapons, all the while learning what three plus three was." He said.
"In fact, in order for us to know which of you and your sisters to take out, Mojo colored our eyes and hair as a constant reminder." He said, taking off his cap and running his fingers through his hair. "I remember when I was fourteen, I stared into the mirror to try and capture what you might really look like. But everytime I pictured you, you were more beautiful than my imagination can take, and I threw a tantrum." He sighed, holding onto his cap.
"And then at sixteen, we were each given school photos of you three. This was when Boomer started not believing in what we were created for." Brick paused, turning to look at Bubbles, who was hovering by the doorway. She blushed. "He said that he never saw such an innocent girl." The redhead boy smiled slightly as her blush grew.
"Butch, on the other hand, was fueled to kill even more. But not by the photo." He continued. "Butch had been told 'Be careful, she's the strongest of the three. Maybe even stronger than you' all of his life. And seeing the face that might beat him, a face of a young and beautiful teenage girl, in battle sent him over the edge." Blossom tapped her fingers on her knee.
"What about you? What happened when you saw my picture?" She asked him.
"You know I'll never forget that moment. Remember how I said I tried to imagine you a billion times, and each time you were more beautiful than before? Well, seeing the picture blew away my imagination. You were even more beautiful, even more stunning than my imagination could create at the time. Sure, I wasn't as starstruck as Boomer, who once said that he was going to marry Bubbles one day, but you definatly started changing my heart for the better."
Blossom blushed tremendously, adverting her eyes. "Brick, I'll tell you what I told Boomer. If my sisters believe you and trust you, then I do too. I can't make these decisions by myself." She said, rubbing her hands on her knees.
"I believe him, Bloss. Not everyone can make up such a story." Bubbles cut in, still standing in the doorway.
"I don't want to believe him." Buttercup said, entering the room from her hiding spot. "But... I can't say I don't. I just don't believe him because of his mission."
"But I can fix that." Brick cut in. "I have a plan. I always do." He grinned cheekily. "Ready? How about... we don't kill you?" The redhead proposed. Buttercup cuffed him.
"Idiot." She muttered.
"Hey! You didn't let me finish! I was going to say that maybe my brothers and I can run away and never return, hence we never kill you." He said.
"But... Boomer..." Bubbles squeaked. "I... I'll miss him..." she admitted.
"Brick, although your plan is what we've got right now, its simple and full of flaws. Butch could make it up." Blossom put in.
"He did." Brick said quietly, chuckling slightly.
"Hmm?" The girls hummed at the same time.
"I couldn't think of anything for once!" He exclaimed, frowning.
"Well, then lets think of one together." Blossom said. "Tomorrow, after Buttercup and Butch's detention. Lets meet up at the ice cream parlor and talk there. Its out in the open so you guys can't do any funny business." She proposed.
"I haven't had ice cream in a while!" Bubbles squealed happily.
"Deal." Brick said, leaning forward and gripping Blossom's hand, giving it a shake. She smiled slightly, standing up to give him a proper shake. Though as she stood, he took the chance and cupped her jaw, pulling her in for a short kiss. Blush exploded over her face. When he pulled away, he had a wide grin. All until he fidgetted and fell to the floor. Bubbles was standing behind him, holding her finger out. Small bits of electricity flickered around her hand.
"Oops?" She squeaked. Brick groaned slightly and Buttercup was laughing her heart out. Blossom sighed and helped him back to his feet. He rubbed his head, frowning now.
"How about you get home now, and rest?" Blossom suggested. He nodded and pecked her forehead.
"I'll text you later." He said, walking to the door and leaving. The girls stood together and watched his car drive off, sighing.
