Me: Last one from a guest. The PPGZ must bake something for the RRBZ that has some sort of potion in it that has a surprise after effect when the RRBZ eat their cooking.

PPGZ: *bakes cookies and pours the potion in the batter*

RRBZ: *eats the cookies*

Suddenly, they were surrounded by smoke and it cleared away to reveal the RRBZ wearing bad boyish outfits posing sexily.

RRBZ: *in a sexy tone* Hello girls~

PPGZ: *fainted from their noses nearly bleeding and their faces red*

Me: Well, I only own the plot and the O.C.'s belong to their owners. Enjoy and you all have to wait until I get a break from college to update the next chapter!

Ch. 15

Momoko's p.o.v.

"How much longer do we have to keep on walking?" I heard Jack say.

"Until we get to our destination so stop complaining and keep on walking!" Brick nearly hissed at him.

"Brick-kun, be nice!" I scolded him.

"Sorry, Momoko-chan," he said.

"Looks like he got scolded by his mate," Jack snickered.

"You too, Jack!" I glared at him.

"Hey, no fair!" he yelled.

"If none of you shut up, I'll bash your heads open!" Kaoru yelled at us.

"Calm down, Kaoru-chan," Butch said.

"Can we all please get along?" Miyako said.

"I agree. All we do is just fight," Boomer replied.

I sighed and looked at the area around us. We were walking on a pathway near the edge of the forest that takes us over to a huge hill that shows a huge clearing as the path keeps on going. All of us had to leave a bit early in the morning because of what happened to Kaoru.

Miyako and I woke up to hear Butch shouting something and we got out of our tents to see Butch running towards us with Kaoru in his arms. We quickly got out of there when we saw her unconscious and he then sat on the log while holding her on his lap and told us everything on what we saw.

Apparently, Kaoru met the previous Goddess of Light and is the holder of the Panther Flute. It looks like Kaoru is the next Goddess of Light who can control earth just like Miyako except she controls water. After the Panther Flute was shaped as a charm for a necklace around her neck, she fainted but Butch managed to quickly catch her. Butch realized that Kaoru left her tent when he can no longer smell her in there and quickly tracked her scent into the woods.

Luckily, she woke up and Miyako and I quickly hugged her since we were glad that she was okay. But we had to shorten our hug since Butch gave her a huge hug and planted kisses on her while muttering that he was glad that she was alright and to never leave the tent again.

Because of that happening, we all had to quickly pack up and keep on moving so no one will know about what happened in the forest. We left when the sun peeked out from the horizon and we took the path that the boys provided for us since the map said that it'll take us to our next location to find the next instrument.

During the time that we started our journey, Brick wouldn't let go of my hand and would always look around to see if anyone or anything will pop out and get us. I asked him why he's so scared and he said that he hoped that I'm not the next Goddess of Light because he's afraid of losing me and getting hurt from the Voltiacs. I reassured him that I'll be okay and even if I actually become one or not, I'll always remain by his side no matter what.

Butch remained calm when he figured that Kaoru is the next Goddess of Light who can control earth but I can see that he's a bit scared of Kaoru getting hurt or killed by the Voltiacs if they figured out that she's the wielder of the Panther Flute. Boomer is still trying to calm himself down but is still worried over Miyako since she wields the Dolphin Piano.

I know that the boys are worried about us and I wouldn't blame them. If I learned that someone I loved is the key to defeating an evil force that is said to be a myth, I would go crazy and hope that nothing bad happens to them at all. Thats why the girls and I promised ourselves that we would remain strong not for our mates, but for the entire world that holds our precious people.

"Lets stop here since Spicer looks like he's about to faint from exhaustion," I heard Brick say.

"Finally!" Jack wheezed and collapsed in the shade near a giant oak tree.

"This place isn't too bad," Butch commented.

"I can barely see the outside world because of these trees covering the area around us," Boomer said. We were at a spot right near the forest where it nearly covers the surrounding area and the only way we can see the path is the sunlight streaming through from the sky.

"Since this place is covered where no one could see us, we're safe here for now," Brick said and sat down on a boulder.

"This place is pretty cool," Kaoru said.

"But a bit spooky, though," Miyako nearly shivered in fright.

"Don't be scared, sweetie. Remember, this place is filled with cute animals and creatures so you mustn't worry at all," Boomer comforted her.

"Plus, no one will ever know that we're here," Butch leaned against the tree with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Bark! Bark! Bark!" Hector cried out while looking at a bush. The bush rustled and out came a squirrel.

"Hector, thats a squirrel!" Jack exclaimed.

"Bark! Bark! Bark!"

The squirrel cheeped and quickly ran up the tree. Hector tried to went after it but couldn't climb up the tree since he's a head and doesn't have any arms and legs.

"Don't be scared, little squirrel! He didn't mean it!" Miyako said to the squirrel.

"Hector likes to chase squirrels and other small creatures for fun," Jack sheepishly said.

"That makes him act like a dog," Kaoru said.

"But he's not a dog, though!" Jack exclaimed.

I sweat-dropped as those two started to squabble with each other. I felt someone hold my hand and I turned around to see Brick was the one who did that.

"Wanna help me find some berries in the forest?" he asked me.

"Sure!" I smiled at him.

"Great! Lets go and find a lot for the others!" he said.

We said a quick goodbye to the others and walked over to a clear pathway that isn't guarded by any trees. I could feel the sun providing warmth in me because of its sunbeams and it feels nice since the weather is perfect today. I looked at Brick and saw him looking at the bushes and trees to see if he could find any fruit.

I don't know how lucky I am to be with him. Back then, we were once enemies but now we're together and a couple. I never thought that he would be my one true soulmate but I'm glad that its him since he loves me for me. Hopefully, we'll remain together forever and be husband and wife once we get married.

"Actually, we're already husband and wife. Remember, we already mated so we're technically married with each other."

"Eeek! Brick-kun, stop reading my mind! I want my thoughts to remain private!"

"Sorry but I couldn't overhear you saying that you were lucky to be with me. It warms my heart to hear how much you love me and wanted to be with my forever."

"W-Well, you loved me for who I am and didn't care if I was Hyper Blossom or not. I want us to remain together forever."

"And we will. Once we get older, we can start a family of our own. I want you to be the mother of my children, Momoko-chan."

"Awww, you're so sweet, Brick-kun!"

I kissed his cheek and giggled as his face turned a bit red. He's so cute when he blushes. He's not afraid to show his emotions in front of me and thats what makes me love him so much!

"Momoko-chan, look!" he pointed at something.

My eyes followed to what he was pointing and I saw that it was some bushes filled with berries. Wait, I recognize those berries!

"Raspberries!" I happily squealed. "Good eye, Brick-kun!"

"After becoming a vampire, my senses were enhanced that not even an average human could detect," he replied.

"Thats really cool!" I gushed.

We quickly went over to the bushes and picked them out one by one. We used our shirts to hold them since they're big enough and we decided that we should walk back and forth from our spot so we'll have enough berries for everyone. We put some berries on our shirts and quickly headed back to our spot where the others were still at.

"Raspberries?" Boomer said.

"Yup! We found a lot of them! We're coming back to bring more!" Brick said.

We put the berries on a blanket and went back to where the berries are. It didn't take that long and we managed to haul enough berries for everyone.

"Looks like we got berry juice on our hands," I said and looked at my hands that had red juice on them.

"I spotted a stream nearby. Lets wash our hands there," Brick said.

He led me to the stream and we dipped our hands in the cool water and got the juice off of us. Now I won't have to worry about my hands smelling like raspberry juice.

"Hey look!" I heard Brick exclaim.

I looked up and saw that there were some fishes jumping around on the stream. Brick then jumped in the stream and ran over to the fishes.

"Brick-kun, what are you doing!?" I yelled at him.

"Catching fish! We can use the fish for our resources incase we run out of food!" he explained and tried to catch a fish.

I giggled at how he's trying to catch one of the fishes but they kept slipping out of his hands. He's funny when he does that.

Dear. Please find me.

I nearly gasped and looked around to see where the voice came from. That sounded like a woman's voice but I don't know where her voice came from.

Follow the path thats near some flowers, dear. Take the path and you'll find me there.

I looked around and found a few flowers that were near a small path that leads to a different part of the woods. Should I take it, though? I don't want Brick-kun to worry about me.

Please take the path, dear. I need you to find me.

I guess I have no choice since she's begging me. I looked over and saw that Brick was busy catching one of the fishes so he's distracted. I quietly walked away and started on the clear path right where the flowers were. As I kept walking, sunlight streamed down from the trees that covered the area and covered the path with its sunbeams. I don't know why but I always felt like I'm connected to the sun.

Keep on walking, dear. I am waiting for you.

I kept on walking and it suddenly became hard to see. Only the sunbeams are helping me see the path and take me to where I should go. But where is this path taking me?

You'll know very soon once you reach your destination, dear. Just follow my voice and you'll find me there.

The more I walked, the louder her voice was in my head. I must be getting closer to my destination. But what place though and who is this woman?

You're almost there, dear. Just a few more steps.

As I kept on walking, I saw a faint glow in front of me to where I was heading to. I quickly walked over there and I nearly gasped as I realized that I'm right near a cliff. I never knew that there was a cliff there but where am I!?

Look up, dear.

I looked up and saw a red orb floating in the sky. It was glowing and it then hovered down to my level. Didn't the girls say that the instruments appeared when they touched the orb?

Touch the orb, dear.

I touched the orb and it started to glow brightly and change its form. It changed into a shape of a violin and it stopped glowing to show me what it looked like. The violin was colored in gold and there was a phoenix design on the violin that looked real and ready to pop out. A music sheet floated next to it and the lyrics were written in gold.

Congratulations, dear. You found the Phoenix Violin.

I quickly turned around and my eyes widened in shock when I saw a young woman floating in front of me. She had long straight red hair that reaches below her bottom with bangs in the front that cover her eyebrows with a strand in the middle reaching the bridge of her nose, eyes that were red like a rose, golden skin that glowed like the sun, a strapped red dress that flows freely at the hem which reaches her knees with a red flower on it, red sleeves on her arms that were connected with fishnet stockings, and a red ribbon tied into a bow at the back of her head. She was barefoot and had a smile on her face.

"My name is Rose, the previous Goddess of Light."

"The wielder of the Phoenix Violin!?" I exclaimed in shock.

She nodded. "Thats correct, dear. Now, the Phoenix Violin chose you as the next Goddess of Light."

"W-What!?" I yelled in shock. "I-I'm the next Goddess of Light!?"

"Yes, dear. You will be the next Goddess of Light who will play the Phoenix Violin and protect the world from the Voltiacs."

"But I don't know if I can do this," I said. "What if I can't play the violin? What if I can't save the world? What if I fail?"

"Don't think like that, dear. I know you can do this. You must believe in yourself. Believe and you'll be able to save the world."

A bright light covered her and it engulfed the surrounding area where I was at. I quickly shielded my eyes so I wouldn't get blind and when it stopped, I unshielded my eyes and saw that Rose was gone. Looks like her time was up and she had to leave now.

I felt something touching my skin and I looked down to see a necklace wrapped around my neck. I looked at the charm and saw that it was a violin in gold that nearly resembled the Phoenix Violin. Wait a minute, the girls had these types of necklaces for their instruments! Miyako had the Dolphin Piano and Kaoru had the Panther Flute!

The charm must be the Phoenix Violin and I'm the next Goddess of Light who can control fire! That means the girls and I are the chosen Goddesses of Light who must play the instruments to save the world! Oh wow, this is too much to process in my head.

"Momoko-chan!"

I turned around and was engulfed in a huge hug by Brick who looked at me with relief, worry, and anger.

"Thank goodness I found you! You shouldn't wander off like that! I was afraid that something bad might've happened to you!" he cupped my cheeks while looking at me with his crimson red eyes.

"Sorry to worry you, Brick-kun. I didn't know why I wandered off like that," I answered.

"Just don't ever do that again!" he exclaimed and hugged me while kissing my lips.

He broke the kiss and looked over at me and his eyes nearly widened in shock.

"Whats wrong, Brick-kun?" I asked him.

"Is that…" he picked up the charm from my necklace.

"Yes, Brick-kun. Its the Phoenix Violin. I'm the next Goddess of Light," I answered truthfully.

"What!?" he yelled in shock. "No way! You're one of the Goddesses of Light who can control fire!?"

I nodded. "Yes, Brick-kun. I am. The previous Goddess of Light told me about it."

"We have to get back to the others as quick as we can! They must know about this!" he said.

He picked me up bridal style and ran into the woods where the others are. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked over to see that he had a look of concentration but his eyes were filled with fear and worry. Oh Brick-kun, you're worried about my safety, don't you?
